Lilli Heart Designs When I moved up here from Marin County I tried a couple of recommended salons. One was Paul Mitchell trained and it was the worse haircut I ever had. I looked for a salon with Vidal Sassoon trained hair cutters because I knew they were trained well. I was so happy to find VJs and found that from the owner and all the cutters are trained with Sassoon. I found Erin there who really has a good eye, and I keep returning and now feel very comfortable in my new home up here knowing I can get a good cut that works when I need it. Such a nice homey atmosphere too! I highly recommend this salon.

Ren Staub I had my first hair cut from Amanda Rachelle about a year ago. She listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. Not only a great looking cut, but a great looking cut with longevity. It grew out beautifully and would have looked good a year later if my ratty split ends didnt spur me back for another cut. Once again, I am very pleased with my haircut. Amanda is also a talented stylist: I had her do my hair for a music performance and she made me look like a absolute rock star- once again exceeding my expectations. I cannot recommend Hayr Rachelle enough! Great services, friendly professional manners and a clean comfortable salon space.

Lance Hodges Lather & Steel is the real deal! From the moment I walked in, the friendly atmosphere and spotless shop made me feel right at home. I had the pleasure of getting my beard trimmed by Roger "The Old Goat," and let me tell you—this man is a master of his craft. He clearly knows what he’s doing, and it shows in the precision and care he puts into his work. My beard has never looked better! On top of that, the shop talk was top-tier—fun, engaging, and exactly what you’d hope for in a classic barbershop experience. All around, an outstanding visit. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend Lather & Steel to anyone looking for quality grooming and great company!

Brandon Zahursky Amos is the man. Rest of the staff is always super friendly. Good vibe in the shop and even better haircuts. Been a regular for the past couple years and will continue to come here until Amos is inevitably hired by some rich dude who takes him around the world to give him daily clean ups.
