Virginia D. Brooklyn is amazing. Ive been to a number of different curly stylists over the years and shes been a breath of fresh air. Shes extremely talented, dedicated to only curly hair, and really fun to chat with in the salon. I couldnt ask for a better experience. The initial consultation was awesome, she took the time to ask questions about my hair, take notes, and play around with my curls to really understand my needs before doing any cutting. Since then, everytime I come in she take a moment to see whats changed before diving in. One of my favorite things about Brooklyn is that she takes each persons hair needs into consideration and includes hair treatments in the cost of her service instead of trying to upsell. If youre looking for a curl specialist, consider Brooklyn! Shes spectacular.

Sinath Neang I moved to Oakland two years ago, and Tiffany has never disappointed me with her talent for haircuts. This past weekend I also decided to get my hair colored for my wedding by Tiffany, a balayage style. I wanted a light ash color and wasnt sure what was possible because my hair was black. She gave me good advice, even when I wasnt sure what I wanted or know whats the right decisions. She was thoughtful and patient with me. Afterward, it turned out beautiful, but I told Tiffany I wanted to be lighter and to even out the orange due to my hair being black. She had me come in for another session, so she could make it lighter and even. After the second session, she even gave me treatment for my hair to take home. Tiffany is not only a professional, but shes talented at what she does, and she cares about her clients happiness. Shes the best hair stylist I have had. Thank you for always giving it your best! Jessica De Silva I had a haircut with Krista and she was amazing!! She asked all the right questions and listened to what I wanted and my concerns. My hair is fine and we took it from long with grown out bangs to about collar bone length with a new-to-me style of bangs that I loved. I already have my bang trim and next cut appointments booked.

Elizabeth Rodriguez Mr. Mark did devine justice to my hair. I asked him for the short trending haircut and he, as the professional and experienced hairstylist he is, told me it was the "Italian bob" everyone is going for. He is excellent! And so positive too, hell make you feel good about your new look, if youre looking to treat yourself, this is the place!

Alexis Canales my go to for ultra customized and on trend hairstyles. they do a perfect job and the services are gender affirming and the customer care is impeccable! been seeing Eric for 2+ years now and plan to keep coming back. :) prices are very comparable to the area too! the salon is nice and clean and snacks and water are available. the best haircuts I’ve ever had !:)

Socorro I LOVED my experience! I havent had my hair professionally cut in more than 15 years because I dont trust people with my curls. Susie is immensely kind and made me feel comfortable and heard. she impressed me with her talent: I told her I wanted a cut that retained my length as much as possible and I left leaving way hotter than I came in - she gave me what I didnt even know I wanted! overall, she did an excellent job and I would recommend her cado cut to people with curly hair as long as youre able to financially invest

Rachel E This was my first time booking a curly cut with Joey, but it will not be my last. I got a hydrating mask, a toner, a trim with layers, and styling. Joey took to the time to figure out what I wanted but was able to give advice when I was choosing between two different color toners. The execution was perfection and I’m obsessed with the results. My curls look and feel better than ever and I’m struggling to keep my fingers out of my hair. Joey has a very warm personality, communicates well, and ensures that you are comfortable and cozy while getting your haircut. Little touches like having a stocked fridge and snacks, fidget toys, and an electric blanket for the back of the chair just added to the overall experience. I cannot recommend enough as this was the best overall haircut experience I have ever had.

Danielle Fischer Lauren is amazing. I have wavy curly hair, and its been tricky to find some one who knows how to cut it. I had some pretty specific requests, and she delivered on all fronts. She started our appointment with a consultation, asking me about my preferences and really seeking to understand what I wanted in terms of shape and day-to-day. This is the first time in many years that Ive loved my hair cut -- and fwiw Ive gone to upscale salons (and random salons) throughout SF, SoCal, and DC. Im planning to just go to Lauren from now on. She was also super nice and friendly. The salon is sooo cute, and the neighborhood is great too. Highly recommend

Tony López I have been a customer for 10 years. Meyda and Lorena are the best. Great service, fast, and very professional. I would recommend to make an appointment or call ahead. Prices are very reasonable! Plenty of street parking or parking lot next door. Closed on Sundays but open until late (8pm ish) Monday through Saturday.
