5 /5 Giovanna Longobardo: Bayview Church is a wonderful, warm, family-friendly church where the word of God is reliably taught every Sunday by pastor Jason. The congregation is small, but it is filled with kind, welcoming people. The worship consists of hymns. I would describe this church as the opposite of a seeker-friendly church. They will not alter the Bible in order to attract more people. The sermons are straightforward and easy to follow. It’s a good church for people of all age groups. I can’t recommend it enough!

The teaching is grounded in sound, scripture-based theology, and the people are warm and welcoming. Its more than just Sundays — there’s real fellowship happening throughout the week, from Bible studies to beach volleyball in Coronado. What really sets Bayview apart is the personal care — our pastor genuinely knows and shepherds his congregation. If youre looking for a place to encounter Christ and feel His love, I highly recommend Bayview.

After going to Bayview Presbyterian in Chula Vista for the first time, I knew immediately it was special in that sense. Pastor Jason Vartanian has upheld a deep commitment and love for both Scripture and people. I didn’t grow up with a close-knit church family, so being welcomed into an authentic, Christ-centered community has meant a lot to me!
