Arbor Road Church - Long Beach (CA)

Temp MedAsst Awesome, welcoming church! Today was my first time and it was a pleasure! Pastor Kris Reed is Awesome in how he deals with his parishioners not to mention his simple, but powerful and delightful sermon! He is a pastor who gets along with everyone Parishioners went out of their way to welcome me, Sister Carmen Reed, The First Lady (Pastor’s wife) who sat in front of me welcomed me, and asked if she could call me to check up on me this week. There were small bottles of water and few packaged snacks at the entrance ( granola bars, crackers, etc.,) to curb your hunger. A first time visitor would receive a small gift also. Please tell anyone who is looking for a church or if looking for a change from their regular church!

Darlene Gidley I have attended Bay Shore Church since 1995. I love this church—the people, the pastors, and our support of many organizations in the community that serve people in need. The church provides opportunities for us as individuals, and as a community, to make a positive impact in the world.

S K Fantastic congregation. Its the oldest black church in Long Beach. And they open their doors to great community organizations like the 100 Black Men and others. They are a generous and caring group. Hard to find any faults!

Tech Gole Great homily with personal perspective! The priest gave perspective on parishioners present and how God is working in their lives. It made the Mass and Holy Eucharist more powerful.

Nelda Bailey Every Wednesday noon day bible is off the chain. Learning how to live by the Word. Min.Lenette is the Bomb .com. Pushing us to know we have a guarantee. Leonel Beautiful church, amazing quire, biblical preaching pastors! I’ve been attending this church for 4 years and I can safely call it my home. Cottonwood provides amazing services including young adults, men’s,women’s, married couples, etc! Cottonwood church has helped me grow in my faith with Christ and I can safely say I will not be leaving this church anytime soon:) God is working in Cottonwood!

cyndivr My wife and I feel blessed to have found an inclusive spiritual home at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church. The community is welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community in word and deed. Thanks to Father Michael for the valuable spiritual counseling before our wedding, for officiating our special day, and for creating a nurturing spiritual space for our family.
