Negar Shaban I got a haircut from Gilbert and Im super satisfied with it. I have long wavy/ kinda curly-also coarse frizzy (but still beautiful ) heavy middle-eastern hair and lots of it. I got a v shape hair cut with long layers. He was so careful to not cut my hair shorter than I wanted. Also he took the weight off which feels so good and looks stylish. Hes also a good company; a good listener especially when it comes to your hair requests. I had a great evening having my hair cut at Salon Mio Mio and chatting with Gilbert. Ill go there again.

Polly Sapakie I discovered Arrow Salon and Grace during a very challenging time, just after my father unexpectedly passed away. In desperate need of a haircut before the funeral, I walked in feeling overwhelmed. Grace was incredibly kind and compassionate; I even found myself crying as I shared my story with her. Her warmth and understanding made a difficult moment just a little brighter. And the haircut! Grace is truly a master of her craft. At the funeral, three different people approached me to compliment my hair--testament to her extraordinary skill! Recently, she also worked her magic on my daughter, giving her a fun blue streak. Grace was so patient and understanding, making the experience enjoyable for her, especially as a tween. (Grace is GREAT with tweens!) I feel so lucky to have found Grace and Arrow Salon. Theyre not just a place for hair; theyre part of the community. :)

Anel Tovar I recently had my hair cut and deep conditioned by Stacey, and I couldnt be happier with the results! I was in a crunch and needed a quick appointment, and Stacey came through with flying colors. Not only did she fit me into her schedule, but she also did an excellent job with my hair. The cut is exactly what I wanted, and the deep conditioning treatment left my hair feeling incredibly soft and healthy. On top of that, her prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Stacey for anyone looking for a skilled and accommodating hairstylist!

Janice B. Sanchez I have been going to Danny Medina for my haircuts and I can confidently say that he provides the best haircut experience you can ever have. Since my first visit, I haven’t gone to anyone else. Danny truly has the best hands when it comes to hair. He always starts by checking in with me to understand the style I’m looking for, ensuring that I get exactly what I want. Not to me mention the hair washing experience is incredibly relaxing and soothing. He has the softest hands, which I really appreciate because I have frizzy hair. After each visit , I receive so many head turns, making me feel like a whole new person. Now that he’s at Blake Charles Salon it makes for the ultimate experience. Blake Charles has a self check-in which I think provides a seamless experience especially if the front desk team is busy . Their cheerful and friendly attitude makes it such a new breath of fresh air environment, I love it! The waiting area is comfortable, with nice refreshments available while you wait. I love that we can hang our coats and change into a comfortable robe. Best changing area with big full body mirrors with lots of bright lights for selfies. Let me not forget , how the natural lighting in the salon just makes it so much more inviting and bright just like the energy there . Overall, Danny Medina and Blake Charles Salon provide an exceptional experience that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch haircut and salon experience.

Sona Samonpal I had a wonderful experience with Li, the owner of the salon. My hair was extremely long, uneven, damaged, and full of split ends, and I wanted a healthier look with more volume since it was very flat. Before starting, I asked Li if the style that I want would suit me, and she took the time to explain what she could do to achieve the look I wanted. She made sure we were on the same page before beginning the trim, which I really appreciated. The end result was exactly what I hoped for. My hair looks so much healthier and has great volume now! The price is also very reasonable. As a college student, finding an affordable hair salon in SF without breaking the bank can be tough, but this place offers great quality at a budget-friendly price. I highly recommend Li for her skill, attention to detail, and fair pricing!

Grazyna I could not be happier and I highly recommend Arthur at Arthur Sebastian Hair Salon. I moved to San Francisco 3 years ago and finding Arthur made my transition so much easier. I have blond hair that darkened and grayed with age and it requires great skills to make it look lighter and natural. After loosing my trusted hair dresser of many years due to the pandemic, I had several new stylists attempting to and failing to achieve this look , thus making me quite unhappy. Arthur had performed magic and brought my hair back to my youthful natural color. He used appropriate highlights with the right shade of toner and created my new personal "California Blond" look. He is a talented professional, focused on achieving clients goals and making the process look effortless. I trust Arthur with my hair and I enjoy our stimulating conversations, an added bonus to a fun experience I always look forward to. Erik Cheng Wilson did a great job with my hair (in my opinion)! I hadnt gotten a haircut in a year and also really dont take good care of it, so it was a total frizzy mess when I went in. I also didnt really know how to specify what I wanted for my haircut, since Ive never had hair this long or this curly/wavy before. He was able to take my relatively vague input on what I was looking for and did a great job producing a cut I was very pleased with. Well worth the price for his skill and also the included hair washing.
