1 /5 Lee Yang: I recently just went to asked for medication for my back pain and time off for a foot injury. For some reason It seems to bother him. He just stood there and stared at me after if I just made him work. You go to a doctor to make yourself feels good, but this guys makes you feel worst leaving. In all my 40 yrs seeing many doctors, he’s the only doctor that makes me feel sick leaving. I’m definitely taking myself out from his clinic. I hope he reads this and change his arrogant personality. This is not the 1st time he made me feel sick leaving. But this last time took it over the top. Especially the way he stared at me n then tells me to take over the counter. It almost as if I’m not worth his time. If I’m not worth your time, I’m not coming back. Don’t go to this guys. He’s arrogant and rude. He did write me the note but I threw it in the trash. I don’t need his notes. He’s not the only doctor in Yuba city. My specialist doctor was able to get me the paperwork I need. If I can give a negative star I would.

5 /5 Laura L: Dr. Afato is caring and compassionate. I always leave his office feeling better, especially knowing that I’ve gotten the treatment needed to get well. He listens and allows his patients to do what they see best. He will make suggestions but ultimately allows the patient to be in charge of their health plan.

1 /5 Samantha Osorio: Afato has no concern for his patients whatsoever. I was seeing him for a few months for extreme anxiety causing panic attacks that left me unable to work. Afato kept giving me different patented meds that were very expensive. Some of these meds I shouldn’t have taken because they could’ve exacerbated my preexisting heart condition which I learned from my new dr. Afato knew about my heart condition. Every time I went in and told him I still have anxiety he seemed annoyed and would just tell me I needed to see a psychiatrist but was no help in terms of getting to a psychiatrist. Several times I left his office in tears. My new dr immediately thought I had a thyroid disorder and ordered labs. I do in fact have a thyroid disorder. Afato never ordered labs which could have killed me if left untreated. My new dr also had no problem setting me up with a psychiatrist, something Afato never bothered to do. His nurse is an incredible woman and very caring, even she mentioned my abnormal heart rate (caused by my hyperthyroidism) and showed concern for me. Afato wasn’t concerned that my HR was 130 while resting. I wouldn’t go to afato if he was the last doctor on earth.
