Jihan Wilson Brought my silverado here a few weeks ago for a waterpump issue, they where reasonably priced, and very thorough in explaining things to me and I SWEAR my truck runs so much more efficiently now!! Gonna take the wifes ride there next!!

Jake Astts Friendly shop, they took good care of my girlfriend’s Mini Cooper. The owner was there both times I showed up. He even recommended some places around town for other tire-related stuff I had to get taken care of. Very good people there. Thank you all!

Nadine Matthews Jim and Sam are wonderful mechanics they had my car diagnosed quickly and accurately. They were able to find the two leaks in my air conditioning hoses, remove and replace them, added freon now the AC works beautifully and puts out nice cold air just in time for the upcoming hot summer months! J Ryan The auto mechanic shop Ive been frequenting for years just permanently closed and Ive been hoping to find a new auto mechanic. I think I may have just struck gold with Georges Certified Auto Repair and Smog. I had an issue with my Nissan and Georges quickly and efficiently did the necessary repairs at a very reasonable price. The staff was unbelievably friendly and polite. I am so happy to have found another trustworthy auto mechanic. Considering my family members all lost the same auto mechanic I used to go to, I will be ensuring that they now take all their vehicles to Georges.

John Best auto shop in town. They helped me with a tricky electrical issue that required a few stops in. Quick, friendly and fair prices. Ill definitely be back, highly recommended.

Daniel Vazquez Omar was great. He prompt and quickly repaired my truck in one day. Fuel pump was not working and he got the job done. Omar was very professional and responsive. I will totally call him back for any other issues. Best of all he came to my house to do the job.

Chris Vombaur My chevy camper is 25 years old. These guys did brakes, plugs w/wires, best money ever !!! big block 454 runs great! I am old school gear head and to fat to do the work my self. Should get another 25 years from the 3500 class C camper. Took a little extra time to get it done, worth it. Ocean Beach this week-end, fresh sea air! THANK YOU Gator great job.

Steve Haerr Ive had great experiences here while diagnosing issues with my old 1968 Jeep, and they also saved me from grief with a late on Friday, last minute leaking radiator hose repair on my Subaru. In my experience, Mark is a good guy with lots of knowledge in a wide variety of older car and engine issues. His shop is not to be confused with a quick lube place, but Im quite sure they can fix anything. Old cars often have many disparate issues at the same time. Some critical, some benign. Fix one and youll prob find the other... But that doesnt make it the mechanics fault.

Kevin Eagleton We have been having our cars (5 of them) serviced at A-1 for well over 10 years and they are great! Rates are what I would call industry standard, but they the jobs done quickly and John, the owner will be honest about whether something really needs to be fixed or not. Highly recommended!
