5 /5 Tashana Hudspeth: The Perch was absolutely amazing! Delicious!!! Manny (Director of Food and Beverage) and his staff were extremely professional, kind and courteous! Thank you Manny for answering our questions, showing us where things were located and explaining the lovely history of the property. Our experience was amazing! Also, security guard Kat was kind and very informative. Thank you Kat for explaining the proper procedures and entry requirements. Our visit to the Casino Resort was spectacular because of all of the extraordinary people that work to ensure each visit is a memorable one!

5 /5 Christine Butler: I was delighted the moment I walked through the doors and saw 7-foot cartoon chickens dancing across the wall—it instantly made me feel at home. As a lifelong chicken lover who has kept hens for many years, I couldn’t help but smile. The entryway was clean, neat, and beautifully decorated. I appreciated having options to get around with the escalator, elevator, or traditional staircase, making it convenient for all visitors. What stood out most to me was the open-concept design and the abundance of windows. Instead of feeling closed in or trapped, I felt comfortable and refreshed, with wall-to-wall windows that brought in natural light. I also liked that the glass doors made it easy to step outside for a cigarette, since the Chicken Ranch is non-smoking. Overall, my first impression was wonderful—welcoming, well thought-out, and full of charm.

1 /5 Mike S: Confirmation Code: c4f419e6878 Table for 2 on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 17:00 Since Chicken Ranch Casino (CRC) does not provide email addresses to administrative staff, I’ll post here, since attachments are not permitted via their web site. On 9/06/25 at about 1650 hours, we were denied entry into The Perch Restaurant. The reason; “beach attire” (flip flops). The sandal (flip flop) in question can be seen in the attached photo, which was an acceptable shoe on 6/22/25 (receipt attached). However, on Sep 6th with birthday balloons in hand and each of us VERY nicely dressed, we were denied entry. Not satisfied with the hostesses’ explanation, she left, and Mary, who identified herself as the General Manager (GM) of the casino, arrived. Without even looking at the shoes, Mary began speaking by reiterating the hostess’s explanation. During this interaction, a party of 4 entered the lobby and I immediately pointed to the shoes one of the guests was wearing. Mary looked at them and said, “technically those are not allowed either”, but that party was permitted to enter moments later. My only conclusion, Mary’s personal prejudices dictated her decision to deny, as we are an interracial couple and the permitted party of 4 were all white. I highly recommend the video footage of the Perches lobby on the aforementioned date/time be reviewed. I can understand the prohibition of rubber flip flops/shower shoes, but an expensive leather sandal resembling a “flip flop” should clearly meet the business casual requirement. Mary’s lack of setting aside her personal bias and make a discretionary decision spoiled an US Army veteran’ s birthday. In closing, I am requesting that the CRC close and delete my Player’s account #152175, and that any and all monetary rewards be donated to any U.S. Veteran’s group in Tuolumne County, as we will NEVER visit CRC again.

4 /5 Hdo Znliy: Rooms are really nice. Like the spacious showers and modern design. Lobby and common areas have a bougie vibe...very nice! Unfortunately the slots were not very loose when we were there, but we had lots of fun at the outdoor pool/nightclub and food at the restaurants was surprisingly good as well. Im a previous long term resident of Reno and my experience here was better than most of the casinos out that way. Definitely worth a stay!
