We have Womens ministry on 3rd Thursday every month at 7:00 pm. and Over comers meetings on Monday evenings every week at 6:30 pm.and also mens ministry every month and we have corporate prayer on. 3rd Friday every month and we also have childrens ministry and they do a lot of different things and go on different events and we also have Pot Luck the last Sunday of every month to celebrate the birthdays of who ever has one in that month. We also have communion on the 1rst Sunday of every month. We are a fun , loving,eating, worshipping God loving church.please come and join us and worship God with us. alan daniel I went to "the church" on 6/11/23. This is one of the best Christian churches of my lifetime. Pastors are top of the line. Musicians and singers are fabulous. Congregation is the most friendly ever. I met over a dozen folks who took the time to greet me. The gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed. Bring you children and family members. Sam Hassas One of the most beautiful churches for wedding photography Ive ever seen. As a Bay Area Wedding Photographer who has seen a good share of churches, this one never disappoints. The stain-glass and light is devine. Though we are usually relegated to shooting from the balcony, after the ceremony has begun, it still offers a breathtaking view of the service. Totally recommend this to anyone who is alum and wants to get married here.

Kaarin Knighten-EL The congregation is extremely small, praise and worship needs a lot of help but Pastor David Moore is the reason I went to this church he is anointed in the Holy Ghost and his sermons are off the chart! The only other (Bishop) that spoke to my soul was TD Jakes, and I like David Moore more. I started working on Sundays and was not able to continue going. I’d highly recommend the teachings of David Moore.

Eric Christopher I attended St Johns Lutheran School in 1959-60 with my 2 sisters. Pastor Atrops was the pastor and his son Art Atrops was in my 3rd grade class. Mr. Bob Heckman was my 3rd grade teacher and he was a real disciplinarian. Mr Visser was my sisters 5th grade teacher and he was a lot nicer. In 1985, I enrolled my sons in Emmaus Lutheran School in Alhambra, CA and the 8th grade teacher was Mr. Heckman. Oh, the stories we shared. Support your LCMS Lutheran School! It makes a difference. Victoria Wood I am so thankful for all the hard work from so many to keep our church open during this year! The elders, the sound and video people, the singers and musicians, and especially to mention Pastor Mark and his family for the online services when we were not allowed to even meet outside. And I absolutely love the outside services that have allowed us just to see each other as we worship together. As we celebrate our 120th anniversary next week I pray that God will continue to bless our congregation and keep us strong in our faith. Our family came to St. John 40 years ago in 1980. I am thankful to be part of this church family! Blessings!
