Susan Domino I moved to Irvine a few months ago and the first thing I did was look for a Calvary Chapel church not realizing Vision City Church is Calvary Chapel. I have had some great pastors in my life Jack Hibbs in Chino Hills and David Guzik in Santa Barbara. I was blown away by Pastor Garid Beeler here in Irvine - his teaching is spot on and I really enjoy the midweek service on Thursdays. If you are looking for a local church in the Irvine area I would strongly recommend checking this church out everyone is very friendly and the teaching is amazing!

Julie Peterson Great solid biblical teaching. We felt so welcomed from our first visit. Our kids love learning the word each Sunday. It’s clear teaching the kids the Bible is a priority. The free coffee and donuts are an added bonus each week.

Their role in biblical perspective is on point to what we were looking for, teach the Bible, Love God, and love people. Plenty of parking, friendly atmosphere (new building), we started off just church hopping but now, we found a home where we, as a family can serve Jesus together.

Jon McMullen I Was driving north on the 405 from San Diego on my way to a meeting Sunday morning. Something compelled me to pull off the freeway on the jamboree exit. I see all these waving smiling faces in orange shirts, guiding me. for whatever reason the path of shirts lead to the sanctuary church at the Hyatt Regency. I decided to make a detour and check it out. Walking in and seeing all the smiling faces really help me feel not alone while dealing with the passing of my father. I believe this is truly a blessing. I will share my experience as an Ecuadorian that had a traumatic experience in an Ecuadorian church, and at the time was skateboarding for over 10’years, so I decided to give up forever Jesus and Christianity and a whole. And to make it a bit fun. I was like. Ok! Jesus, I will google “skateboard church “ because that is my church! And guess where the SEO sent me! The website. And I was shocked! Okey then! I have a church, and I will go there soon! Forgot all about it. Few months later, I got invited to a skateboarding event, ran into Chris Hosoi, he signed some poster and wrote down the church address because I talked about the skateboard church. And I googled it again. Guess what! It was three hours away $180 Uber ride to get there! So I thought! I will go any minute now! I was visiting and staying around LA SKATE. And a girl in my Airbnb said, he friend is freaking out they lost someone in their office, and they had a position for exactly what I majored and I’m specialized and have worked over 20 years doing. So I took the job. Even as a tourist! Why! Because guess what is the first thing I checked! How far is it from the church! And there I was. One whole month. Every Saturday and every Thursday, I would $80 uber to bet there! Every single day it was life changing. Friends I made, mind blowing messages! Two guest pastors, one women’s conference! The employee was angry, he said I spend all I made on uber to get to the church, and he started denying my payment and then giving me a hard time. But what he couldn’t understand is, the only reason I was working all day 9-5 and accepted the job was to do that! Go to church. I was so penniless when pastor Chris said to show up on Monday to skate the Vans OC I noticed it was a two hour walk, and I missed that opportunity, and was I fit enough and skating every day to walk to the vans OC! yéS, but I was scared’ did I got scared to move to another strangers town, and risk my visitors tourist visa and spend all this money to listen to pastor Jay and feel home’ NO! That is Holy Spirit moving in our lives because he has a plan for our lives and wants you to sit at the Sanctuary with an open heart and give your life to Jesus! I met so many amazing people, I never built the courage to say thank you and walk up to Pastor Jay. And my last day in the USA, was magical. I went to church. It was full moon and a lady came to me and said she needed to pray for me. And she prayed and spoke and prophesied and she had knowledge from the spirit and she said that Hod told her I was oppressed, and I broke down and this facts came out of my milita that I was not safe at this job or this house of the employeee and I was suffering, and well , she prayed for my freedom! And something lifted. A backpack, rocks, heavy burdens I was carrying since childhood, she nor only freed me from my momentary oppression but took all my shame, all my negativity away I was healed, I was lifted and I heard Holy Spirit tell me. It’s time to GO HOME. Same night I texted the employer, told him I was done, and he stole all I had, and I was so annointed every time this guy would snatch stuff from my bags, I would say, what the enemy takes away, Jesus will give me back 100fold. And this guys girlfriend that came with me few times to the Sanctuary called and said she will stay on the line because she was scared something might happen to me. Well. I great aunt in Ecuador had a dream to call me and ask me when I needed my Open Plane ticket for a setting a date to go back home. And before my phone was stolen that same moment! She got me a ticket for the very next day. So if you have a legal job, own your own car, live close by to the church, just go. Do it for me. I have not missed one or 5 Sundays throughout this 8 years far away from the sanctuary. Online family over here.

Celine I was born and raised in Switzerland in one of the smallest village one of the most conservative church you could ever come across. I move to America when I was a child and try to find a church that would make me feel better. It took me about 10 years to have the courage to go in the church which I did And I also offered to volunteer because I wanted to sadly I had to go there alone and find absolutely no support from anyone there when I went to meet the person for the volunteer thing I was trying to offer first service for she looks like me up and down like I was not worthy of it Sally, this goes against everything God stands for, and I will never ever recommend this church to anyone.

Serge B Forward Church is a rare Biblical based church to find in the South California. What I liked is you get solid scriptural based teaching and excellent team of worship. The church is in process of growing, but its a place where you really see God at work through their growing ministries. Pastor Bogdan is a very passionate about his ministry, he has great scriptural knowledge but delivers it in very practical and understandable manner. Also what is noticeable is that everyone who serves in this church, you can see has a true passion for what they do.

Richard Landuyt For all of the years Ive been a funeral director serving the Orthodox Communities of LA and Orange Counties, I had never heard about or been to St Marks. It reminds me of a country church but located in a sprawling city. The iconography is the same as most other churches. The chanting is also very similar. I felt at home, even under the circumstances that brought me there. Fr. George and the deacon, as well as the second priest, were so welcoming and gracious when answering any question my assistant and I asked. Jack Styskal All three of my children go to preschool here its really a great community and the teachers here are excellent. My children have been so happy going here and as a parent I couldnt be more proud to have my children being taught by such loving caring intelligent people. I couldnt think of a better situation for my children than having them at this preschool it has great prices and really close quarters with my children. There are about five children to each class in each class has two teachers to it so it really is a special experience for my kids
