Trina F. Rubio Bay Area Baptist Church is truly a blessing to Chaz (my boyfriend) and I! We have been going since late of October. Our first visit - We were welcomed with such friendly people! I remember we were approached first outside by Pastor Morris’s wife (Elizabeth- I call her “Ate Elizabeth” / respect for “older sister” in Tagalog). She is so sweet !! Then we sat inside right away and Pastor Morris approached us! Chaz & I have been praying for a church to attend. He said they have been praying for someone new in the community to attend as well! I knew that was the Lord that brought us to this Church :). On December 10, 2017. Chaz and I became official members of now our HOME church! I even got baptized by Pastor Morris! :) He also gave us “I am a church member” book, which will open your eyes! What we love about this church is that everyone is like a family! We also love how it is so diverse !! We can feel that we are growing spiritually with everyone in this church. Pastor Morris preaches the truth. He preaches directly from the King James Bible Version! He does not sugar coat anything at all. This is what Chaz and I truly appreciate. There is connection groups every Wednesday nights at 7pm. Church service is every Sundays at 10:30am! There’s coffee/hot coco and donuts at 10am, that time you can get to know more of the Church, talk with Pastor Morris and his wife or the rest of the congregation! P.s I love my BABC FAMILY :)

Ashton Hosford I cannot say enough good about this church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has brought me closer to God, and has brought me great happiness and meaning in my life. I have three little children and it is not always easy to get up, get ready and go each week. God has blessed the Church with immense talents in regards to Worship and Wonderful Sermons. I appreciate the commitment of Pastor George Alexander and his family in welcoming every new family and having the burden of Praying for souls. I will definitely recommend this Church anyone staying in Fremont or BayArea to visit the Church. Praise God for the Worship Team who leads the Worship in different languages(English, Hindi and Malayalam) and give complete control to the Holy Spirit of God. Also the Church Service is hosted live in Facebook for its online visitors.

Tommy Chen This church was my first on my journey to Jesus Christ. I remember in 2009 or 2010, I went to the Bethel Redding conference with this church. I didnt have money to buy food at a restaurant on the way, but Joel out of his love for Jesus and out of his love for people gave me money to be able to eat with them at the restaurant. This church and River of Life were part of my middle school to high school journey with God. Will never forget the leaders, the fun, and everything I learned at this church. #2014hsgraduation

Judy PBC has been my home church since 2007 to 2016. From around 80 attending in one service to over 300 in two services. Now numbers dont always mean its the best place in town to worship. Its a growing church- with rows that fill with believers who are growing, seekers that are finding comfort, visitors who are being welcomed. Its not the perfect church but it wont ever be until Jesus returns. It has its growing church problems. You might not get noticed in the large crowds and it may be hard to plug in for you but if you make some smart steps like stopping by their nametag booth or Newcomers Lounge after a service, you will be taken care of. Its a growing church in the Silicon Valley. I would invite you to check out a church that has it struggle (like most churches in the bau) to turn a fast paced culture of consumerism around and build a community that wants to make the name of Jesus bigger than the companies that surround it.

Kirby Karnes I recently visited from out of state. I was looking to find a local church family to gather with during my visit. Pathway is where I felt lead to attend. Everyone was so welcoming to me. They also preach the one and only way for Salvation through the death and resurrection of Gods only Son. I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit moving during the time I spent there. Its incredible to see God working in other areas of our country. I look forward to going back when I visit the area. Tropin A great Church, very loving, and friendly to people of all ages. The pastors were very kind and welcoming as were the congrigation. It is a chinese church so there are many people who speak mandarin or other chinese dialects but most people are bilingual. There are english services as well as chinese services. You do not have to be ethnically chinese to attend this church! It is welcome to anyone, but if you do not feel comfortable in a Chinese cultural setting then this church might not be for you in the long term.

Sabrina Shuen Horrible greeting service. I took my mom to check out the location for her for the 1st time. After the service there was no correct instruction given for where the newcomers should go next and nobody bothered to come introduce. We got lost and then decided to ask someone/pastor’s wife for where to go. She sent us off with the deacon who invited us to a “newcomer’s greeting” 1 hour later yet he didn’t show up nor did anyone responsible for greeting service. We should’ve left as soon as we found out they really don’t need any newcomer, but instead we waited another hour to attend the so-called newcomer greeting and nobody talked to us. The only church people who showed us to “greet” was not pastor, deacon, or anybody responsible for greeting service, but several bible study leaders who asked every newcomer their availability of time throughout the week so they are eligible of joining whichever bible group - literally a job fair. We’ve been to different churches in the past and this is the only one we’ve been to that has no greeting aspect at all....

Hope I have never feel more welcome than here,is another culture other language but you feel they’re your brothers and sisters,every 5th Sunday they have bilingual service (English and Spanish)it is amazing! We are part of this family In the same building we have our Spanish Service.

Amos Yang This review has to do with my extensive interaction with this church related to the property in Milpitas they are selling. I would first state that as far as I can tell, this church and its leaders seem to be decently nice people in all normal aspects that I am aware of (other than the below). However, in their endeavors to sell their former church property in Milpitas, several surprises arose, including: 1. The church is trying to sell that property for nearly $8M, but it was appraised for only barely $4M. The church tries to justify the discrepancy by pointing out a preschool meets on site, but simple market research shows the preschool is not worth anything remotely close to the additional $4M (or even half of that). 2. Their building expansion performed several years ago was not done with the necessary permits. Per Milpitas regulations, this means that any future owner who wants to make any legal revisions to the building (such as bringing the restrooms into ADA compliance, a legal necessity) will have to bring the entire property into compliance. This will be a very costly project. 3. As mentioned above, the restrooms are not ADA compliant. 4. No renovations involving permits have been performed on the building for nearly 20 years. You can imagine what that means in terms of the renovation needs of the building and its various systems (even apart from the above). We were unpleasantly surprised by all the above and more and were disappointed that the church did not inform us of the above, apparently hoping none of the above would be uncovered and that we would unwittingly carry through and purchase an overpriced lemon. Again, I have no doubt that these people may be good and nice people overall, but in terms of this real estate transaction that nearly went through, the above was my unpalatable experience.
