"Theres a place for you!" their mission in welcoming others to their fellowship. (I was definintely very warmly welcomed!) If you are looking for a place to learn about God, the role of Christ in your salvation, to apply Gods word to your circumstances and life, to fellowship, and belong, this would be a great place to for you. Dave n Kristen Boughton This is small church community who do a great job of getting to know one another while trying to share the gospel. The Sunday mornings include simple but authentic worship songs, weekly communion, and solid biblical teaching. I also love that it is located across from the UCD fields where I often play soccer and tennis.

Shawn I have attended the Bridge Church with my wife for about 10 months now and this is what I think. The Bridge welcomed us with warm hearts and the presence of the Lord was almost palpable in the church. I thought, praise God we found our church. What the Bridge means to me is family. To belong to a family of devoted followers of Jesus Christ, sharing the gospel, and sending the good new of Jesus to community. Pastor Chris has a remarkable way of communicating the scriptures. Chris unpacks the bible in great detail that is clear, easy to understand, and does not deviate from what is written. The worship team is small but effective. It consists of Jon, our worship leader and the worship team. Talented people sharing their love of God! I love this church and have never felt that way about another church. If you’re looking for a home church, you’ve found it!

Erin Lujan I am so thankful for this amazing group of believers. The multigenerational gathering feels like an authentic family where all are welcome and accepted. Outside of Sunday mornings, people get together in homes weekly to fellowship, study God’s word, and live on mission with one another where they live, go to school, work, or play. The location where we gather is conveniently located directly across from UC Davis fields on Russell. Other events throughout the year are picnics at the park, Easter pancake breakfast for the community, mission trip to an orphanage for disabled individuals in Mexico, and camping at Scott’s Flat Lake in the summer.

Rob Woodman Many people have heard of Quakers as historical figures much like Pilgrims. But there are Quakers right here in Davis. The Meeting has been here since the 1950s and is alive and growing with families with young children. Many Quakers are active with community organizations having to do with mental illness, immigration, peace and other civic affiars. Central to our Meeting is the traditional Quaker "silent" worship. We sit together in stillness until someone among us is moved to speak. The silence itself is full and enriching. We hardly ever give ourselves the opportunity to just sit and be without thinking. It is an acquired practice but once you get it youll want to stay with it.

Edgar Tamayo Love going to this church. Started attending mass here a few years back and I have always felt welcomed. Mass is engaging and makes you want to keep coming. I love how the campus is always clean and well maintained. Its also great that parking is always available. The church always has events going on during the week and sometimes right after the 12pm Sunday church. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Charlie L stepped into this church not just to worship—but to ask God to forgive what UC Davis has become. Please, Lord, forgive this campus that pretends to be elite, yet suffocates brilliance with red tape, politics, and performative excellence. Forgive the institution that markets prestige while ensuring the truly gifted—those who think differently, who question, who aim higher—are buried under group projects, lazy professors, and bloated admin egos. If you scored above a 1400 on the SAT, you don’t belong here. Not because you’re too arrogant—because UC Davis will never let you thrive. It rewards mediocrity dressed up in buzzwords and GPA padding. It’s a comfort zone for the average, a trap for the driven. Let this church be a place of truth, because the university just down the street has forgotten what truth looks like. May God bless Davis. And may He show mercy to those still fooled by the name “UC Davis.”

R L No church is perfect but it may be noted that when members want to leave DC3 for a different Christian church, there is no elitist, narcissist condemnation. Theres no sense that you have to follow the individuals serving as leaders in this church to be a good Christian but rather they encourage people to find a good fit even if its not this one.

Daniel Tai DCCC has biblically sound preaching/teaching among all three of its congregations (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese). One of the cool things about this church is that it aims to "equip and send" its members, whether those members are Davis residents/families or those who are more transient (e.g. college students, young adults, visiting scholars, etc). What drew me to DCCC in college was that it was a church with multiple generations (from grandparents to infants) and that it was one of the few churches that had a college fellowship (as opposed to a parachurch ministry) and a solid young adult fellowship.

D Min I have been attending this church for 5yrs and I have really been blessed by the relationships I have had and the people I met. We dont have any family in the area but we have found an extended family that supports us in all seasons of life. This is a Christian church that believes in basic biblical principals and loves people. If you are undecided or contemplating going to church again, this is a good place to start. IF you have KIDS.. This is even better

Andy Zamora Upon seeing this churchs website and certain sermons, I noticed that it is a church that practices middle age mysticism and headed in the emergent church movement (a movement that places experience above Gods word and wants to get rid of Holy Writ from your hands). This is a big red flag. The book recommendations they give have to do with practicing middle age mysticism, this is the trash they promote. The pastor is a false teacher because he is teaching and promoting mysticism to the flock. This is a church that does not bow down to the authority of scripture. If you attend this church I would leave and if you are planning to, find another church that preaches from the bible.

Cayla Park Awana was really good there but its just the kids there are just rude not only that, they will ignore you. ( Except all my best friends and favorite teachers.) I felt like a ghost there . Whenever I said "hello" to someone theyll just walk away from me for no reason. Not to mention, I have been to this rock and water summer camp for water rafting. We were going on this hike on day 2. One of them was swimming to the other side. I was traumatized because while I was swimming with no life jacket on. I ran out of breath and I started drowning. But when I yelled for help, the other kids who were like right next to me just swam away from me Then, my troop leader pulled me out of the water and I grabbed onto my mothers life jacket and we both swam for safety. All of my best friends left because we all graduated from from Awana.Theres really no excitement anymore at this church after Awana. I do kind of feel guilty for leaving the church because I said I would become a leader but I dont want to be there anymore.
