Daisy Fuentes First office visit in this location. Appt started off great , staff and receptionist were very sweet. But, Dr.Ragahavan was definitely disappointing. She made me feel awful the entire appt. First off she started bluntly saying that I over feed my baby eat too much. calling her over weight multiple times. Secondly she told my mom to take my toddler out side bc it was “distracting and she had two other patients to see.” We were a patient as well and she needed to answer my concerns and shouldn’t have rushed my appt as I was a patient myself. I totally understand time is valuable but so was mine and mind you I’m usually very understanding but just the way she was saying things were very rude. Overall my experience was very disappointing. Don’t get me wrong I love salud para la Gente but this doctor made me very upset.

Anna Monroe The hospital was very pleasant. My experience in nuclear medicine was positive, and the technician, George, was particularly reassuring. He answered all my questions thoroughly and provided clear explanations.

kayla matsuda My experience is based solely on the Labor and Delivery Department of the hospital. This was my first labor and delivery experience with my first child. The day I started having contractions, their phonelines were down due to an AT&T issue, I was freaked out of course so I went in as directed by my Kaiser nurse to go and check in just in case since I couldnt speak to anyone. Once I was checked in and was taken to the second floor of the Maternity Unit I was put at ease. Darla was our triage nurse and was so sweet and funny and I already was feeling more comfortable as she checked my vitals. I even felt happy and excited because of how she made me feel. Once I moved into a room of my own , we met with Dona ( whom we ended up seeing the following day as well because I didnt give birth until the following day. She along with Lacy (traveling nurse) and the woman who administered the epidural Trisha I believe... I am writing this two months post partum so I hope I didnt forget their names . I am so grateful for the Watsonville Community Hospital Maternity Ward. I would not hesitate to go there again if I were to have a second child. Thank you all for taking care of me! I also appreciate they let my family witness the birth and be there to support me . If you are reading this and deciding where to have your child. Be rest assured youll be taken care of here. R.L. Fleming I went to Sutter Health Urgent Care today because the other urgent care medical facility in town was closed. I was treated with courtesy and respect by Reception, Physicians Asst. X-ray Tech and (very important to me) the on duty Doctor. The steps of my examination were explained beforehand and when completed, the recommended treatment. I highly recommend Sutter Health Urgent Care.

Sallie Smith The care I received for my procedure at Sutter Health was incredibly kind and caring. I am very anxious before any hospital stay, and they put me at my ease completely. Every single nurse, receptionist, and doctor was exceptional. Outstanding care.

Tina Terry I dont even want to give a star at this point.... Sat with my child after working an 8 hour shift for 2 hours!!!! Unacceptable! Among all the other children sitting in office. Scheduled my appointment for 330 was left a voicemail to come at 230 and by 4 pm still not seen!!! Then to be told they had my scheduled at 345! Um no Im not stupid I know what time my appointment was and it was 330! I have never been treated si rudely nor have I ever sat in a drs office for so long!!! But they want to charge you if you are 5 min late! Really backwards if you ask me! I should charge them for wasting my time... I have things to do besides sit in a disruptive dr ok office for 2 hours!!! Very unsatisfied! I guess you have to be Mexican to be treated with respect... I was treated as if I was lying this place is a joke!

Dave J Ive had a few odd experiences like getting signed up for appointments without any contact with them, but when speaking to one of the Doctors they were very competent and surprisingly knowledgeable for some more obscure questions and tests I was interested in. The staff are very polite.

Lana Dale-Moore Genuinely one of the best PP I’ve ever been to. The people here are so kinda and caring. They made me feel amazing. I came in needing help with my birth control and then returned a few days later to finish up some stuff and it was so quick and easy. To the one tech with green hair under their dark curly hair, you made my experience 10x better. These people really understand the difference between a personal experience vs a transactional experience.

Emma I had an appointment today at 1:30. I arrived at 1:25 and waited inside for a few minutes before being checked in, after being checked in I was instructed to have a seat. After 30 minutes of waiting I asked the woman at the desk if she had an estimated amount of time before I’d be seen and she said she would go check, when she came back she said “no more then 5 minutes”. At the 5 minute mark another woman called me back and directed me to a room saying we were still waiting but she would ask me the check in questions. After about 2 minutes the questions were over and the woman left, this was at 2:03pm. I sat and waited in the new room alone for an additional 35 minutes or so without anyone coming in to update me on time frame before deciding to leave at 2:40pm, an hour and ten minutes after my appointment time. I had only asked how long it would be until I was seen and instead of receiving an answer I was tucked away with no updates for 35 minutes(time stamps from frustrated texts I was sending to my friend). Super disappointing. The lack of communication was deeply frustrating. I did not expect to be seen sooner then they were ready to see me but would have appreciated being told an actual time frame rather then being left alone in a random room for over 35 minutes when all I had asked for was an update on how much longer it would be. I just don’t see the point in misleading me on how long it would be. I had made an appointment and didn’t expect the wait to be over an hour which I would have understood more if I were a walk in. I copied this from my yelp review but this was such a frustrating experience I felt it needed to be shared. I’ve been to this same establishment 2 times prior with no issue and all the staff has been lovely but todays interaction left me questioning if I would even like to make the updated appointment I originally said I would.

Peter Cross My back was locked up and I was in extreme pain. I waited for a week to see if anything would get better, but to avail, so I decided to go in, and get checked out yesterday. They were concerned as I was and they took some xrays of my pelvis, ultra sound of my kidneys, and a ct scan along with some extensive blood work. Everything came okay, but still no answers, and cause for pain. I suggested maybe a pulled muscle, or a disc, and this is where I got extremely disappointed with their next steps. Granted I can barely move and still can’t move today, and for last week. They didn’t do any other tests and told me to call my primary for an MRI of my spine. They told me at least I have a clean bill of health and no infections, or tumors, blood work looks great (playing everything off). Which obviously Iam happy about that, but that doesn’t mean everything else is disregarded. This is where the nurse and Dr. Physician Seth started to push me out of the Er (not physically). I feel completely ignored for and left hung out to dry. It’s crazy how you spend 7 hours in the ER and they have no answers and didn’t do further testing (like an MRI that they are suggesting my primary do). I’m still in extreme discomfort/pain with no answers. I’m losing faith in the medical industry and the zero empathy they have (well at least at this place). Furthermore, no medication for the pain either. They simply didn’t care for my well being. On top of that they said if the pain still persists to come back. I told them that’s why I’am here, because it’s been a week. I would never in my life go back there after this experience even if I was having a heart attack. Absolutely not. Separate occasion same service: I should’ve known I was going to get this type of service from them, because 4 years ago I took my father in law there for him throwing up for four days and his eye all of a sudden went crooked plus slurred speech (I was thinking stroke). They said has his symptoms always been like that and I replied if they were I wouldn’t be here. They did all the testings as well and said probably a virus (I said a virus for a crooked eye that’s weird), because they couldn’t see anything on the scans, but later at different hospital they saw that he had a small stroke (same paperwork). They totally missed the diagnosis for the stroke. I’m pretty sure if you have a broken arm you would get good service, but from my experiences nothing, but bad. Avoid this place if something serious is taking place. No help! If the ER would like to respond I was admitted there March 14,2025 around 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Peter Cross is my name. Maria Cacho I m very grateful for the outstanding care I received during my visit to the hospital on March 6th. I will like to acknowledge Luz at the front desk. She was incredible helpful and patience, taking the time to assist me for nearly 40 minutes to figure out where Kaiser wanted to send me. Her professionalism and kindness set the tone for the rest of my experience. In the ER, I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Knight and nurses Juan and Brenda. Their communication and compassionate care were excellent! I truly thankful.

Juice00kp We just had our first baby in this great hospital. The nurses,doctors and the hospital director are all great people. They helped us out so much showed us how to breast feed. I highly recommend this hospital!

Just bought my new 4Runner (ask for Jazmin at Toyota Salinas) and this is my second time financing a vehicle with the Credit Union. Lowest rate around and always great service to make everything so simple!!

Marissa Fernandez I had to start coming here because i chabged insurances, not by choice. They take forever to get an appointment. First one i had they canceled on me when i was standing in the office because apparently the doctor called out. I waited another 2 months for my appointment and she called out again. They are unreliable here and i dont recommend it. If you want to wait forever to get an appointment and just have them cancel on you then feel free but if you want a reliable doctor run from this place.

Kevin Freiermuth Was very attentive to my pain which is why I came into E.R with extreme pain spending 8 hours in ER with no ER emergency calls coming in my wife and myself endured 8 hrs of over diagnosis.pain control and management is what I needed. 8 hrs with no diagnosis except pain medicine. No notification of my insurance acceptance until C.Scan and X Rays . Have been two 2 ergent care visits diagnosis and drugs perscribed. No better.Saw a new Dr and in our discussion he leaned towards human parvo B19 minor expense WHS miss diagnos very ,very expensive I only needed to have my pain controlled and managed Diagnosis missed by 3 Doctors only 1 knew symptoms. 23,000 dollars later you tell me my insurance may not cover services if I knew that .just calm and manage pain and let me walk without this huge bii I dont know how I can pay.

Dottie Eis Saw him in the ER yesterday . He was very attentive to my needs . Made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.. sent me home with I needed to fight pneumonia . Thank you Dr Merkle

Rocio Fuentes I feel Dr. Martinez has taken advantage of the fact that hes one of the only latino doctors in the Watsonville area. He knows the latino community will trust him with eyes closed. He overbooks, causing you to wait up to two hours after your SCHEDULED appointment to be seen. And once he does make it to your room, hes in and out in minutes. Who has that kind of time for such an impersonal experience? My family has trusted him for many years. Once my parents started having health problems I started assisting their appointments and he did NOT like me asking questions. He was rude even. Millenials are catching onto you, Dr. Martinez.

N R Dr. Martinez definitely takes advantage of the spanish speaking community and their trust in him. He makes you wait for hours for a scheduled appointment and then does not even take the time to really listen to his patients. He does not care about your health. DO NOT GO HERE if you care about your health.

L Fitzpatrick June 2023 Had Septoplasty surgery at Central Coast Surgery Center in Freedom, CA. Easy to find just off Hwy 1, clean, friendly and knowledgable personnel. High tech surgery center, highly recommend this facility for all out patient surgeries.
