Debra Clark Here I am 4 PAINFUL years after a colonoscopy done by Dr Daniel Norman. I have had nothing but problems with my intestines since this invasive procedure done by this brutal Dr. First of all, I was GUARANTEED that I would be conscious throughout the procedure. WRONG. I was given the amnesic drug and woke up in a stupor having NEVER EVEN MET THIS DR.....he didnt even have the decency to introduce himself before they put me out and obviously man handled me as I have now had 4 years of constant pain and Doctor appointments due to the pain and damage caused by Dr. Normans careless approach to this standard wellness check up. Finally, we found that damage to my ileocecal valve occurred when Dr Norman did a rough and careless colonoscopy. The pain ansd suffering of the past years has worn me down. An issue with the ileocecal valve can mask itself with so many different symptoms, it can be difficult, expensive and time consuming to diagnose. It can show up as sever neck, shoulder and hip pain and many other issues. I am now going through the long uncomfortable process of healing, which requires a strict diet and localized massage. I am already on a strict diet due to kidney disease. The damage caused by Dr Normans carelessness has restricted my diet to a handful of foods now and I warn EVERYONE.......DO NOT let them put you out for this procedure. They have to be more considerate when you are awake.....awake DOES NOT MEAN giving you amnesic drug!!!! Debra J Clark

Juliane Piiloblondie Müller Pretty terrible. The front desk staff are nice enough. the doctors arent worth much and they dont stick around for long. The few times I went here, i always was seen by a different doc because the previous one had left. You explain your stuff from scratch again, the new doc doesnt bother reading your chart and puts in the wrong referrals. is like herding cats here, you have to chase after your stuff and call every day to be transferred to someone else again, just to make sure your things are finally moving forward.

Kek “ZZR” Seriously the worst hospital Ive ever had the displeasure of visiting. I have used Barton 4+ times over years living in Tahoe and somehow each time they provide worse and worse service. My most recent visit we sat in the ER for 7 hours straight (not once offered water). After finally getting MRI results they had to transfer us to Reno because Barton doesnt even have a neurologist on staff. Seriously? And dont get me started on the billing $$$. Other reviews have said enough. They have decent employees, but this hospital is filled with rot from the ground up. They will probably charge me $1000 for this review. Drive to any other hospital unless its matter of life and death, and even then I almost would rather die than go here again.

Anthony Bonilla Bills preventative care as non preventative, something that shouldve been covered 100% by my insurance ended up being billed to me at over $2000 dollars, they never answer your messages on MyChart and never call you back like they say they will. Ive now had to bring my insurance broker into it to try to get it fixed and will most likely be sending in a complaint to the California department of Insurance.
