Ogden Williams My experience with Monterey Private Wealth has been exceptional. I have been dealing with Cris Cabanillas and operations manager Anne Hepfl for several years now, dealing with a variety of complicated financial issues. My aunt and uncle used Cris’ services for years and he developed an excellent relationship with them, something that wasn’t always easy to do, as they could be prickly and difficult. As they got older and more infirm, Cris’ expertise and care was increasingly needed, and he was always there for them. Now as trustee of their estate I have negotiated a lot of ground that was unfamiliar to me, with Cris and Anne’s help. I have found Cris and Anne to be remarkably honest, diligent and professional. My sense is that not only are they highly skilled and competent in the work they do, they are good people! I live in Maine and have had to travel back and forth to the Monterey area repeatedly because of my trustee responsibilities. In the course of that work, I have met some real scoundrels, and I have also worked with some terrific, trustworthy people. Cris and Anne are solid members of the second group! It’s been a pleasure working with them.

Bonnie OBrien FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! Hello everyone, I just switched from a bank that I had been with for over 34 years to Monterey CU. I worked with Chris the loan officer to open my account, set up auto pays, refi my car loan and obtain a personal loan to consolidate things. Chris made this transition quick and easy! His professionalism was exemplary! Everything I was promised was followed through and followed up on by Chris. Every time I had a question it was easy to get in contact with him via phone, text or email! I also had the pleasure of working with a few other members who were also professional with wonderful customer service! The positive and welcoming presence with professionalism in the room was greatly appreciated! I highly recommend this bank to all for a great banking experience!

Yasmine Elsherbini I came to Debbie last year (2023) when my 2021 taxes were a mess- I had to deal with IRS letters and back and forth with my financial institution. Long story short--Debbie was able to help me prove that I did not need to pay and get me back the large amount of money that I had paid when I didnt need to. Fast forward to this tax season and I returned to work with Zack for my tax filing. I was pleased again with the service and would recommend them to anyone looking for assistance. Happy customer!
