Justine Lieberman 10/10 what a beautiful experience! I had a facial with Natalie and my skin is truly glowing, like no filter needed. Natalie was extremely kind and listened to my needs, she seems very informed and even gave me some suggestions that I can do on my own at home to help with the redness in my cheeks. Usually when I have treatments I ask for a heavier hand to help dispel my stress, but this time I asked for a lighter touch and I feel like it was exponentially more soothing. My body absolutely needed the more tender treatment and I left feeling relaxed and have been complemented repeatedly since my facial. The products she used all smelled very nice and were gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I am completely sold on the skin care and will continue using it to maintain this glow and softness.

Nancy and Johnny, the owners, are incredibly sweet, provide amazing service, and create such a relaxing environment. It is refreshing to have my nails done without the process being rushed or painful. A lot of nail salons Ive been to have cut me, drilled my nails to the point of damage, are loud, overcharge, and are always stressful. It was a relief to have my mani and pedi done with utmost precision and quality from Johnny and Nancy. They truly care and are by appointment only for the most part so the shop is never bombarded with too many clients. They also sterilize the equipment properly and the shop is very clean, which is very important to me. The prices are fantastic. I wish more salons were like this one. I cant wait to come back. She is very good at her work and they are by appointment only so very important to make sure you do before you try them. Only her and her husband doing work here and clean and peaceful. Prices are reasonable and I added 15 minute foot massage and callus removal. Very good value and I enjoyed my time with Nancy. Not a fancy place however Nancy makes you feel welcomed and your feet sparkle!

fernanda f I love this new location in Oak Park! It’s super clean and great and they have Supreme polish from dazzle that is amazing! Same benefits of gel manicure but without the gel. It’s a regular polish that lasts two weeks or more and it removes like regular polish! And No drying time!

Mina Sealund I had a good experience here. I got a much needed pedicure with Candy. She took her time and was very thorough. Most importantly the salon felt clean. They used tub liners and got tools from sterilizer bags. My husband got a foot massage. He said they didn’t use much pressure and tried to upsell several times for different services. (This is why I have removed a star) I also got my eyebrows done. They were quick and efficient and did a nice job! Overall, I would absolutely come back.

Alyssa Jayne I driver over an hour total out of my way to try this place and I’m so grateful I did. I needed nice nails for an event and I received the best manicure pedicure ever. I also added chrome which made my nails look so pretty. These nails lasted over 3 weeks, that had never happened to me! They do high quality work here. My nails lasted so long and looked good the entire time, even after I went camping and did a bunch of moving. I was shocked! Diane the owner is amazing so are all of the staff. **update these nails lasted me nearly a month without breaking or chipping and I was camping, washing dishes, cleaning etc and none of them broke!!!! The best manicure ever thank you Dina can’t wait to see you again

Super relaxing inside too. Everyone is always super nice as well. I do recommend making an appointment though! But highly recommend!!!

Ofelia Lopez I was a walk in and was helped right away. The whole staff was amazing. Mary did an amazing job. However, I came back two more times and its like she was different person?. She was not like the first time I met her. She was a bit arrogant. She still did a great job with my nails but made me feel very uncomfortable when she demanded me turn off the massage chair because she was painting my nails. I had no idea she was even talking to me . I was getting a pedicure done at the same time, so I thought she was talking to the lady doing my pedicure which by the way did an amazing job and was super nice and friendly. All Mary said to me was "turn it off, I am painting." She said it again and thats when I realized she was talking about the massage chair. That was a bit rude and uncalled for. She didnt even look at me when she said it. Because of this reason, I will never come back here. I had just told my family about this new place I had found and unfortunately will never go back.

Angelique Sieverson There is usually plenty of manicurist available making service quick. Good with walk -ins. The chairs have a nice massage mode. I choice the basic pedi and the gel mani. I always love the way my nails look. It’s good to check the color of the first nail it sometimes looks different than the ring with the nail color choices. I recommend!

Sydney Never even care to leave reviews, but I mean look at this work that was just done… I’ve been going here for 8-9 months. Hailey was amazing, no longer works here though. Tried a new girl for the 2nd time- Helen. The first time was good as no one else was in the salon, so she took her time however this time, a walk in came while my nails were being done (for my set appointment) and she began rushing so I then had to keep correcting to have things fixed. I asked for a second coat because as people know white especially can’t have one single coat, you can see through it… she got mad. As her frustration built, she slammed my hand into the light (for gel polish) began ruining the French tip shape and making it crooked, didn’t care to file to correct the shape or anything as if I was the one in the wrong. Never experienced such unprofessional behavior. Appointments are meant to be made so you have time and there is no rush, however here it doesn’t matter. With Hailey being gone I will not be returning.

esther good I’ve been having my hair done by Mandy for many years. Always the best cut, color and Brazilian blow out! She’s very flexible with appointments. Very fair price for such high quality work. I scheduled my appointments a year in advance just to make sure I’m in the queue.

Linda White Mandy is a hairdresser at Fancy Nails and Hair. She is awesome. She has a way with cuts and color that makes you feel amazing. I have fine, thin hair. When I leave her, I feel as though I have so much hair I can actually style it!

Lynn Daykin Over the years Ive tried numerous nail places but this is by far the best and I wont go anywhere else. Helena does a fantastic mani-pedi. She really takes her time and NEVER asks you buy extras such as flowers on nails... callous remover... hot oil, or paraffin wax treatment etc. etc. like most other places Ive been to. Its a small, very relaxing place with only two technicians. I also love that it never has that awful chemical smell like most other nail shops.

Nik Hods Dont use this place. They tell you one price and once youre halfway through your hair cut and style they change the price on you and then their card machine doesnt work and they charge you a fee for it. Warning warning do not use do not use go somewhere else or do it yourself. For the price they charge you could do it 50 times at home

celine nguyen this nail salon checked all my boxes! their service was exceptional and better than most. when doing my set, i showed them my inspo and they did not disappoint!! the reference photos to my actual nails were excellent, not to mention the price was extremely reasonable.

Amanda Luthy I’m not sure when ownership/management changed, but I was disappointed. I went with my kiddo to get manipedis since they used to have kids’ chairs. The stylist was able to accommodate and gave us what we asked for but it was very awkward to have a kindergartener in a full-size chair. The new management has replaced the kids chairs with an atm and a well worn sign indicating that their credit card machine isn’t working. I didn’t see the sign until after I handed them my credit card to pay. They took the card and told me there would be a transaction fee. (Which was still less than the atm fee would have been) Our mani-pedis were worth the price we paid and the stylists were nice and accommodating. But we won’t be back. The ATM nonsense is a hard “no” from me.

Constance LLoyd I got a pedicure and full gel set. Kim was very sweet and accommodating. I came in with a picture and most salons I’ve been to the manicurist seems confused or irritated with my desired look, but not Kim. She was happy to help and excited to create the look. They came out looking exactly like I wanted them to. I didn’t feel rushed she asked for my input throughout the designing process. The staff made me feel valued and were the friendliest I’ve encountered in a long time. I love how peaceful it is there’s no loud T.V.s playing. The salon is busy but it never feels overcrowded and that’s cause they stagger their appointments versus cramming as many people in as they can. It speaks to the quality and cleanliness of the salon. I’m already planning my next visit back.

They’re very receptive to your ideas and want to work with you to make sure your nails are exactly as you want. We always leave completely obsessed with our nails because of how amazing they look. It’s never too expensive either, it is very reasonable and cheap for the type of nails we get.
