My cuticles were trimmed and the final polish turned out clean, smooth, not too thick and all edges were covered properly. I also had a pedicure this too was ok, it was basic not too much pampering but it certainly got my month old polish cleaned up. I would recommend the services. This was a good first impression.

Nadine Nguyen I won the Valentine’s giveaway they had on Instagram for a $10 gift card. I decided to get a Gel-X set cause it’s my favorite nail service when I go to nail salons. I was a little overwhelmed cause they greet you and have complimentary drinks. Not a bad thing just wasn’t expecting it. Trisha was my nail tech and made conversation with me which was nice. I got 2 nail designs which was an up charge of $40 total. The total amount before my gift card was $118 and they did offer a 5% discount if you use cash. Though I used my $10 gift card which made the total of my nails $108. I can see myself coming here again. It’s definitely pricier than other nail salons but you are paying for the experience & quality.

Brian Definitely a 5 star experience!! I would give it 6 if I could. From the start you enter a super clean, modern, well staffed facility. After you select your treatment, you are escorted to your seat and and brought the beverage of your choice, wine included. Once they start, you are pampered from beginning to end. Every treatment is gold infused, they use fresh aloe, fruits, honey, wax, at one point there were 3 people massaging, clipping and buffing away. With body scrubs, paraffin wax, lotions, and more wine, it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend is an understatement. If you want an amazing experience where you leave calm & refreshed, this is the place, hands down, you will not regret it. If you are looking for a nail spa to go to, stop looking and go here. Alysia Erskine I just left and honestly, it was not a great nail experience. My GelX is sheer, all my nails have an excess amount of glue under them (she said it was because I wanted them short), she somewhat fixed that but not well. I have one finger with glue on the skin, and she talked about me to the other girl when I asked her to make a small adjustment to the shape. My pedicure was fine but I paid extra for an upgraded pedicure with 10 minute massage. She massaged for 6 minutes exactly. They switch my manicure girl midway through and neither of them did good cuticle prep so that the nails would stay well. Overall marginal experience and will not be returning.

Resa Nguyen Love, love, love Mio Nails! I was obsessed with Lisa from BLACKPINKs rockstar nails and wanted something similar. I Googled and found Mio Nails, and they absolutely delivered! I am so in love with the special gelx design, and it was only an additional $30! Even better, they didnt take forever - just an hour to an hour and a half. If youre ever in Huntington Beach, you should definitely check it out. Ask for Jenny, but honestly, any of the girls there are amazing at designing. Highly recommend!

Kerry Hill Mio 2, in my opinion, is the best nail salon in OC! I am very picky. I’m the woman that watches what they do and have input, lol. With Jenny or Kim, I don’t have to do that. I can close my eyes and relax! I have tried sooo many others and always was disappointed. Mio 2 has all the current styles and equipment that makes your nails so beautiful. For those that like ombré nails, they have a polish mister that puts the ombré on flawlessly! Sometimes when I go in, I’m not sure what I want and Jenny helps me with choosing new styles that I didn’t even know existed! Their pedicures are amazing as well! I got the luxury pedi because of the longer massage on my legs and it was heaven! Jenny and Kim are so articulate with their work. The nail art is beautiful. All the ladies are very professional and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend giving them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

All About Pho Admin This was my first time getting a dip manicure here, and I couldn’t be happier! I came in with a design in mind, and they exceeded my expectations, making it even better. The design is subtle yet unique. The attention to detail and the care they put into my nails were exceptional. The set cost $70 and took 1.5 hours, which was well worth it. The price point is surprisingly affordable for the Huntington Beach area, which is a fantastic bonus. The results are stunning and perfect for all occasions. codaline Really nice as my first time. Very nice lady didn’t know how to do it at first but we figured it out and it ended up looking great. She really was trying hard to get it looking good. Only thing was that a gel x manicure was listed as $65 and that’s what I got plus a little art and some jewels and it ended up being 115 with tip which was $35 extra and I wasn’t exactly expecting that. Workers were quite nice and offered me something to drink while I was there. Very clean and high quality place.

She was very careful to make sure I liked the length, the nails on both sides looked as close to each other as possible.. she was very detailed. I had my toes done to match the nails on my hands so both were gel. Price came out to $85 and it was 20% off since they are new management. They’ve been there for about a month at my review posting. I included pictures of their prices and my nails.

I booked with the new Kim yesterday and was delighted to find out she’s amazing as well! I always get hard gel and it almost always hurts a little but there was absolutely no pain yesterday and my nails turned out perfect. I’ll definitely keep going back!

I’ve tried many many salons in the OC area and this is absolutely the best salon, from all of the incredibly kind staff to the quality of service, it’s unmatched. Each of the nail technicians are so talented, they can take any design and execute even better than the photos. They’re meticulous and detailed, my acrylics last weeks and never chip or lift. I’ve seen a few different technicians here and each of them are fantastic. I would highly recommend Hot Trend Nails to anyone. I’ve had a few pedicures here too and they’re fantastic.

CYNNS BEAUTY First time at the Retro Nail bar and they have satisfied my needs. I got gel builder with a tip and Rachel did such a perfect job on my nails. Not only did she pay attention to detail but also asked me throughout the service if I was satisfied with what she was doing. And for Grace, she was so sweet and gave me such a relaxing massage and offered me a drink. I felt so pretty and pampered, Rachel and Grace were so kind. I will definitely be going back.

Amina Q I have been going to this salon for years and having been to many nail salons all over the country and world, this is by far my favorite nail home. Salon is cute and clean. All of the techs are kind and make me feel welcome. They have a huge variety of polishes and dips of different reputable brands and several techs have done wonderful nail art and trendy nail techniques for me. My picture doesn’t do their nail art justice. Prices are very reasonable and my manicures last a long a time. Would definitely recommend!

Tracy Rattan The service is really good. A bit pricey. I wasn’t too pumped on the plastic foot stools. I have really sensitive feet and feel like some sort of cushion or padding is necessary. Absolutely no padding and I had to constantly shift positions for my over sensitive feet. Also, for the price; please don’t place your patrons in broken message chairs. However, Michelle did an amazing job on my feet and French pedicure. All said and done I did the $50 package, with Gel came out to $70 and the gave Michelle her deserved $20 tip. All in all I will stick with Long Beach and pay $50 total and not almost $100. I won’t be going back.
