Maria Boukhval First Visit Review: Professional Assessment
I recently visited this salon for the first time and would like to share my honest impressions. While I have high standards due to my European hospitality education, I aim to provide a balanced and fair review.
The salon benefits from a positive atmosphere largely due to Lilys energy and its convenient location. However, the facility itself is quite small, and although it offers multiple services, the equipment and systems seem outdated given the prices charged. Additionally, the option to pay with cash only is inconvenient for customers.
Here is a detailed summary based on a 10-point scale:
1. Quality of Service: 6/10
- Pedicure Deluxe Gel: $75
- The final look of my pedicure was good, and I appreciated Lily’s thoroughness in cleaning the nails. However, she seemed to be in a hurry, which affected the overall experience. I hope the results last at least a month.
2. Cleanliness and Hygiene: 5/10
- The salon appeared clean, but the chairs were old and uncomfortable. Having to use the same chair for both pedicure and manicure was not ideal, especially for someone with high standards in hospitality and comfort.
3. Professionalism of Staff: 8/10
- The staff are skilled, although their English proficiency is limited. The salon has an old-fashioned feel and could benefit from modernization.
4. Range of Services: 7/10
- The salon offers around 10 types of services with additional charges for extras. However, the service menu is poorly presented, printed on white paper and hung on the wall, which detracts from the overall professionalism.
5. Atmosphere: 6/10
- The atmosphere is better than other similar salons as there is less chatter. However, the space is small and shared with a hairdresser, making it rather loud without any music or TV to enhance the environment.
6. Price: 3/10
- The pricing is at or above market level with no special rates, discounts, or incentives for new customers. The deluxe pedicure with gel, including wax, salt water, hot stones, and a massage, costs $75. While this price is reasonable, it is not justified by the salon’s current standards. A manicure gel costs $32, and adding a flower design on one finger per hand costs an additional $10, which is quite expensive.
7. Appointment Availability: 9/10
- I was able to get an appointment for the day and time I wanted by calling the salon directly. However, there is no online booking system or website for reservations.
Overall Rating: 6/10
Conclusion:
Will I return? Most likely not. I look forward to a time when technological advancements can make salon services more enjoyable and relaxing, while also hoping for a more present and relaxed human interaction in the future.

Katie Krider I wanted some pumpkins for fall this year and Lily took her time to do the cutest pumpkins! She did the green vine and wiped it off multiple times just to make sure it was perfect for me. So nice! Come get fall/ Halloween nails at Lily Nails :)

Chastity Vicencio Thank you Kim for the beautiful gel manicure with a pretty leaf design for Fall! I appreciate how this nail salon provides fingerless gloves during gel manicures, to protect your hands & skin!
I called for an appointment around 11:30am on a Tuesday and they were able to take me right away. It started to get busier around 12:15pm during lunch hour. This place is cash only but they also take Zelle. Place is clean and service is friendly.
