caitlin nelson I’ve been going to this salon for about two years now, and every single time I have walked out being insanely happy with how my hair looks! I struggled for yeaarrsssss to find a good salon in the area that is able to do what they can do. I’m pretty low maintenance and my hair always grows out still looking amazing which is huge for me. I’ve been to both Carolyn and Amy and HIGHLY recommend both of them. I have never been dissatisfied in any way. The salon is super cute and comfortable, and the staff is so nice and personable which makes it an all around great experience. I’ve gone a few different blondes, copper, and brunette and they nailed all the looks beautifully and gave professional input which helps me a ton too to dial in and get exactly what I want. 100/10 recommend this salon!

Not only does my hair always turn out beautifully after an appointment with Carolyn, but she is also one of the kindest and most genuine people you will ever meet. She has been my hairdresser for years, and no matter what I bring her, she is always happy to work with it. Try them out if youre looking for a hairdresser who is both skilled and personable, and whose salon is cozy and inviting.

Breanna Eddy I have been going the Carolyn at The Hair Studio for years even after I moved out of the area. I have fine hair so finding a stylist that understands my texture and what works is crucial. I have had several cuts, colors, styles, etc. over the years and every single time I have walked away joyous! Furthermore, they have hair products that I have fallen in love with, specifically their Dry Texture Spray (a god-send for those days where you need extra volume). I couldn’t recommend The Hair Studio Corralitos enough!

chris hansen Amy does a fabulous job on my sons hair. He has 2 calics that her son has so she knows exactly how to handle them. He loves what Amy does to his hair, especially when she dyes it blue. They both do a fabulous job on my hair as well. Nothing like a little father son time. I think we have been going to the Hair Studio every other month for 5-6 years now , since they opened. Carolyn and Amy are one of the nicest and most humble ladies I know. They are a pleasure to work with and I will always support them. Give them a try and you will quickly become a regular. I didnt know what to do while my hair was growing back, so I went for a consultation at The Hair Studio in Corralitos. I ended up getting a mini weft and I absolutely love it. No one has been able to tell its not my real hair, it blends so perfectly. It was affordable and I spend way less time styling my hair now too, thanks Carolyn!

Tina transformed my dirty blond/grey locks into a soft beautiful blond that actually looked like my natural hair from many years ago! Samantha did a perfect French Tip Mani/Pedi, which was amazing considering she started with completely neglected fingernails that looked like they belonged on a mechanics fingers and toenails that would rival a Hobbits lol. Monique is a makeup and hair artist that does the makeup/styling by appointment only. On the morning of my wedding, I went from a tired looking anxious bride to a beautiful natural blond with flowers in my hair and eyes that popped! A huge thank you to all the gals that made my wedding photos gorgeous. A few other bonuses you may want to know: The salon is clean, nice music, friendly banter and they all speak English fluently.

But since it only barely reached my neck I was unsure if they were going to be able to do what I wanted due to the short length. This is where Mattie comes in. I wanted to find some GOOD, new place in Watsonville to go to for my haircuts, and if you are to, Id recommend this place. It was awesome having someone actually understand what it is I wanted before going anywhere near my hair, which in my personal experience has never happened to me. She was great, very nice and understanding when it came to what I wanted my hair to look like. She also asked me questions like: what do you usually do to your hair, how do you usually wear it, has this or did that previously worked for you. Which I appreciated, because it let me know that she was taking into consideration how I work with my hair on a day to day basis not just right when I walk out of the salon, or at least I thought so. She also offered her own suggestions when it came to my type of hair (curly/puffy), and things I could try for it or to do with it, without being pushy about it. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and walked out with my hair feeling good for what I wanted. So, again, if youre looking for somewhere new to try, definitely check this place out. Yesenia Rivera The one star is because the girl that "helped" us was very nice. The problem wasnt how my sister and I were treated in person, but BEFORE that. I had called, numerous times two weeks ago to try to schedule an appointment but the phone kept ringing and no one would answer. My sister tried as well with the same result. We finally decided to physically show up and were told that its appointment only. How can you make an appointment if no one is answering?!?!! The woman that attended us was nice and offered to leave the stylist a message for any openings. But in hindsight, shouldnt there be an appointment book? Needless to say, we left to try another place. We were so excited to try this establishment due to the reviews, what a shame.

Fernando Herrera 10/10. 5 stars is an absolute understatement. This salon is a locally owned and truly family oriented. I first made an appearance a little over 2 years ago with long hair. I have always had a hard time trusting people when it came to cutting my hair, but I took a leap of faith and went for a more customary "professional look" and never looked back. Theyve kept my hair maintained ever since. They have all had a chance at my hair and did an excellent job! With the competitive chair slots, my loyalty landed in Margies chair for over 1.5 years. This salon has helped me out more times than I can count and has even been generous enough to support me during their off hours. The staff always make me feel extremely welcomed and never burdened. I am sad to say this week is my last week in town, but am entirely grateful I decided to give them a shot. Dont be fooled by the "salon" title. They are excellent barbers coupled with their amazing hair dressings!

She was there alone with nothing to do, she told me she has an appointment in 15 minutes and cant cut my sons hair, So i waited the 15 minutes nobody showed up and she just told me to go somewhere else because kids haircuts take too long. The building was empty, and her just there with her Sour attitude, when I walked away my son asked me why she didnt want to cut his hair She came outside yelling things at us. So unprofessional!
