Sheila Zarekari Pierres was introduced to me by the ladies at work over 20 years ago. They dont take walk-ins so call for an appointment. Well worth the wait. Still the best place for a haircut, color. Pierre does not take shortcuts and knows his craft.

A L I’ve been coming to Sarah (owner) since 2020. She is one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. She treats you like family and does such an amazing job on hair and hand tied extensions. Salon is clean, modern and very friendly. I would recommend anyone wanting to color their hair or want hand tied extensions to truly give this place an opportunity. They have shown time and time again that they care about what you want and deliver.

Natasha Va I recently started going to Rebecca at Rooted Salon for hair extensions after years of not having a go-to hair dresser. This was the first time Ive ever gotten hair extensions so I was extremely nervous about it. Rebecca made me feel so comfortable and reassured that I had nothing to worry about. I absolutely LOVE my hair! She did such an amazing job! She answered all of my questions so quickly and gave the best hair tips. Shes one of the kindest hair dressers Ive ever gone to and always has a smile on her face. The salon itself is beautiful, bright and so clean! Bobby Christoulakis My son is three years old and has had at least 8 haircuts with the owner Xochitl. Every time he comes in for his appointment, she has a bright smile and a warm welcome. She takes her time and talks to him during the entire haircut, giving him praise for how well hes doing in the chair, which encourages him to continue. His haircut always looks great, but the best part is the care and attention she shows him. She is a complete natural with kids and it shows. Typically, when he is done with his haircut, he goes around to the other ladies and shows off his new hair. They all give him an amazing response. We couldnt ask for a better experience. I highly recommend Salon Karisma!

Yessenia Valverde I come to this hair salon that is close by to my house and my hair stylist name is Efrain. When I say I have never been disappointed I mean it, he is very direct on expectations on how to let me know how much of a process my wants are going to take. I went from him giving me dark red hair with magenta highlights and it was to die for. Than I wanted silver white highlights and dark undertones in the bottom and now were one step away from silver blonde. Would highly recommend him and his work. Also the whole crew is fabulous from the manager being a complete sweetheart as the rest of the ladies as well. Everyone in this salon is very professional and completely talented now I have my mother come here as well as my daughter.

Evelyn Martinez If I could rate my experience a 0 I would. I booked an appointment with Jessica and asked her to cut an inch and a half but she cut so much more than that. My hair grows very slowly and she cut years of growth off. I can’t explain how devastated and angry I am. Never coming back here again, and don’t book with Jessica unless you want your hair destroyed.

Karma I’m not one to write reviews, but me and my sister came to this salon yesterday as of 12/26. There was one stylist my sister wanted a straight cut and I wanted layers, which I expressed I didn’t want a lot of my hair chopped off she cut of 3-4 inches of my hair to where now my hair is above my shoulders seeing as I had to go to a different salon to get my layers fixed. She left my hair dripping wet when I walked out of the salon which I had no problem with but once my hair dried it was atrocious the layers were so choppy and she had done such a bad job. She had gave my front pieces a straight cut which my new stylist had to fix and make my hair even shorter than I would have wanted. I will attach photos. No matter what you can not tell me this wasn’t a rushed job and these are 100% not layers seeing as my other stylist told me she didn’t know what happened and where she went wrong.

Lisa Carmack Expensive. Could be a great place, but I felt the beautician who colored my hair was quite irritated that she also had to trim my hair. Apparently she thought she was finished. She had me stand up and quickly chopped an inch off the back. No checking or styling... And I have thick curly hair! Wont go back...

James Horton I’ve been going to Averly for well over 10 years and I can’t see myself trusting anyone else to cut my hair. I even take my 4 year old to her now! The staff here is super friendly, probably some of the most down to earth people you’ll meet and talk to. And it’s not a fake kind of friendly either, they genuinely care about the people that walk through their doors. The salon itself is very well maintained. It’s always clean and very inviting. The couch and chairs are very comfortable to wait in, plus they’ve got drinks and snacks to tide you over while you wait.

D George My first review was favorable, only because I was willing to overlook a couple of hiccups. After my second visit, however, Ive decided to keep looking for another stylist. Both of my appointments were booked two weeks in advance. The first appointment was with the owner. When I arrived, she was coloring someone elses hair and seemed to have forgotten all about me, and she got another hairdresser to fill in who happened to be visiting from the Bay Area. When I went to pay, they had failed to inform me that this is a cash only business. No checks, no ATM or credit cards. I didnt have enough cash on me, so I had to run to the ATM to withdraw some money. The stylist charged me $40 for my cut. The second appointment, the same thing... a different stylist, but she seemed surprised that I was there. She was also highlighting another persons hair. This stylist cut my hair dry - didnt wet even spray it with water. No shampoo, and it seemed like a rush job, so she could get back to her coloring. At first, she requested $65, then told me $55 for my cut. Why is one stylist $40 and another one is $55. Both times, I left a small tip. I get home and keep looking at my cut... On the right side of my head, my hair is longer than the left side. I have some hair shears, so I asked my husband to try and even it up. Im torn between complaining to the owner and asking her to fix this, or just canceling my next appointment, which I made prior to leaving, since it takes two weeks to get in. I have half a mind to just not show up since nobody seems to remember I have an appointment anyway. My husband, who loves my hair and is even more particular than I am, said to keep looking for someone else.

Yolanda sandez Teresa is so welcoming and gave me an out of this world haircut! She even gave me tips on how to style it! She’s very down to earth and super sweet, tho whole ambiance of the shop is awesome and you feel instantly welcomed when you come in, great customer service as well!!!! ^_^

Cheyenne Smith Tiffany saved my hair!!! After it being completely fried and 4 different colors from another stylist, Tiffany came in and saved the day! She color corrected my hair for hours and fixed my haircut! I didn’t want to go into public before Tiffany worked her magic! The entire experience was more than pleasant! The salon is amazing and everyone working there is talented and kind!!! I’d recommend to EVERYONE.

Shy Ortiz I had called hours prior to the appointment to see if they cut toddlers hair they said they did and they would message me to make the appointment. They asked if it was a girl or boy and that was it (but when I called I had stated TODDLER) We arrived on time for the appointment and as soon we walked in and saw us they said they didn’t want to cut his hair because he was to “small” and would “move”. It seemed that she was going to do a half ass job but then saw us and didn’t want issues. I don’t recommend coming here with your child or for your child.

T. Tnez I had a great experience at Erin Milan Salon & Spa. My husband and I were staying at the connecting hotel the DoubleTree so it was very convenient. I had a facial which was very relaxing and I thought the cost was fair. Everyone from the front desk to my facial technician was extremely welcoming. When I come into town I will for sure be coming back for another facial. Aveda products is all I ever use on my face. They are the best ✨

Megan O Really, really great salon! I travel for work and often have to just cross my fingers and hope for a good experience haha. Well today I had a GREAT experience! The woman who cut my hair did not give her name, but she was no-nonsense, decisive, and very professional, which was exactly what I needed today. I have a difficult hairline and a lot of cowlicks, but it didn’t phase her one bit, she cleaned up my hair so well and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in all my travels across the US (and I travel a LOT.) If you are in Modesto and looking for a haircut I truly believe you cannot do better than Erin Milan Salon. I walked out feeling refreshed and actually pretty for once :) Very grateful for the beautiful job she did on my hair, and would highly recommend getting your hair cut here!
