Alexis F Best new barbershop and salon in Huntington Beach!!! Nick (my barber) and Hannah have been in the business forever and have finally opened their own shop! Nick has been my barber for almost 5 years and hes so good at mens cuts that Ive followed him from location to location, but now I wont have too. Nick is accommodating, he listens to your likes and dislikes and can execute with precision. From what I hear, Hannah is an equally amazing hair stylist. For the quality and experience that you get at Guys and Dolls, they are priced fairly. The place is relaxed, the staff is personable and there is always something cold on tap if you enjoy a beverage during your cut. If you are looking for an excellent barber or hairstylist or just looking for a change of scene from your current barbershop or salon, check this place out--they will not disappoint!!

I’ve been seeing Jessica for about almost 4 years now she has done so many different versions of extensions always willing to try whatever I want to try but by far the best I have to say that in our four years together, I left twice to try other people and I came back with my tail between my legs both times, once you have somebody with this amount of talent, you definitely should stick with them. I drive from Irvine to Huntington Beach and it’s worth it but extensions are superior. She really put attention to detail so you never have itchy, scalp, or pulling hairs or all of the things that go wrong with extensions. So I just wanted to give a recommendation because a good hair girl is hard to find so if you’re looking for one, you should definitely book mine

I’ve had the hardest time finding a stylist in the area who can achieve the exact look I want at a reasonable cost - Bianca is literally a gem and I’m so happy I found her! The salon is also beautiful and located right next to the beach.

Rossini Lipio I’ve been given the best experiences when coming to this salon. Cat has always been my stylist and I was pleasantly satisfied with the results. I went into the salon with my natural black hair and came out with ash-brown. She asked if I wanted to curl my hair and instantly said yes! My hair never looked so good. The Causeys I had a work conference in H.B. and had 4 hours to kill before dinner. I wanted to get my haircut as it was over 6 months since the last cut. I wandering into this cute hair salon. Only Amber was working coloring her clients hair. She was able to squeeze me in and do a dry cut as she only had so much time. She did an incredible job! I barely gave her any details and it was like she read my mind. She cut all the dead ends off and it looks fresh and a perfect cut! I felt like an old friend chatting with Amber and her client. Such sweet people! Thank you Amber!

Chris Stevens I was in the US from New Zealand nearing the end of a fantastic 46 day cross country adventure and found myself in need of a haircut. So after a swim at Huntington Beach I wandered into Main Street Hair and sat down for a haircut, what a brilliant place the people were lovely and it had a great vibe, all of the staff were super friendly and found myself chatting away with them and other customers like we were lifetime friends. As an added bonus the haircut was excellent as well. Five stars from way down here in New Zealand folks. :)

Duke Patty (Patty) Excellent shop, excellent service. I love having red hair, you know, really red, and looking very natural. Hard to do. Summer can do it! As someone who was "once" a natural auburn color, going white, and anyone knows, red is a difficult color to keep in your hair over grey or white hair., I love to have her blend my hair color into a natural red, and it stays and stays. She is the master colorist, and if you want someone to give you a wonderful cut, it is Summer, too. My husband has her cut his hair, and it always looks great. Ive seen the work she does on men, women, and children, and they always go out with a great look. I love his cut, and my cut is exceptional. I get comments all the time on how wonderful my hair looks. This salon is the best one by far, Ive been going there for at least 3 years, and the reception is always warm and caring. Everyone is "on" their game, and I cant say enough about the whole salon staff. It is like everyone is running the business as if it were their own. Hair products? The best are available there. KEVIN MURPHY products, enough said? Yes! Big, hair, wavy hair, and they have a curly hair specialist. What more could you ask for? Well, besides goodies and gifts with great pricing: jewelry, purses, gloves, and much more. And they have good, good foodie items for sale. With proceeds going to chairty. They got it all going on.

Jennie Quach I moved earlier this year and was in search of a new hair stylist who is affordable, personable, and knows hair. Christina meets all of those qualities and more. I was with my previous hairstylist for more than 10 years, so I was very hesitant to find a new stylist, but Christina was super personable and listens to what my needs are, and realistic expectations to what we can achieve. I have had 2 balayage sessions with her and can’t be any happier. Christina is very meticulous and takes her time to work through my hair and explains every product that is used. Jamie Wood I had my eyebrows microshaded by Tina at Trends and I love them! Other salons tried to tell me what I had to have, but Tina listened to what I wanted and did exactly what I wanted. My brows were very sparse, especially the tails. Now they look soft and natural and they need absolutely no make-up. I was nervous at first because because Tina is Vietnamese and I was afraid I would not be able to communicate what I wanted. But she understands perfectly and also Tami is there to translate if you need to say something more complicated. Tina also has OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Certification, which was important to me. My experience was very pleasant and there was absolutely no pain. During the healing process my eyebrows never scabbed; they just flaked and that went away in 3 weeks because of the special technique she uses. The price for micro-shading was very reasonable. I highly recommend Tina for micro-shading (which is sometimes referred to as "powder brows"). I just had my touch-up today. I will post photos when its finished healing.
