My hairstylist is Vanessa. She is highly professional and achieves the hairstyle that I always ask for. She listens attentively to my requests and ensures that every detail is addressed. I always leave the salon delighted with the outcomes. During the appointment, she offers refreshments and snacks, which is great as sometimes I don’t have time to eat before attending my appointment. Jose is another stylist who works at the Salon, and boy, is he a character. Although I have never personally had my hair done by him, I observe him while my hair is getting processed, and all his clients seem to love him. I highly recommend visiting this salon if you’re looking for a great stylist.

MANNN, I have never liked a haircut this much on day 1, and I was nervous since I’d never grown out my hair or been to a salon like this before. We talked a for a few minutes about what I wanted and she got hands on while we talked the whole time. She offered me beverages and snacks while I waited for my appointment, and at the end she gifted me some samples of products according to my hair type and wanted style. Two days after my appointment I finally washed it and wow it is so curly and pretty today (photo 2 blue)! Highly recommended.

I typically feel anxious about going to the salon and chatting for several hours while getting my hair done, but I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Kellie and getting to know her. Jasmine Munoz I would definitely be cautious of his hair dresser. Unfortunately, a family member was a victim to bad overall service. From being rushed, last minute changes to what was already agreed upon and to lack of care when confronted about being dissatisfied. The hair and color on its own was very bad to the point of needing to get it fixed by another hairdresser. It’s bad when the hairdresser that had to fix it has to educate and inform us of the mistakes and errors of the result of the first hair dresser, Maria. It is absolutely a hair dressers responsibility to educate their clients, work with their clients, create a plan, and be transparent and honest on what is achievable and what is not. This separates a hair dressers from wanting to make a quick buck to those that want to have regular clients but also have new clients return. Will definitely not be returning and will not recommend.

McKenna Farnham Dawn BUTCHERED my hair. When I left the salon I held out hope that it would look better when I styled it, but I was wrong. I told her I wanted to keep my length and shorten some of the layers and she cut off over 2 INCHES all around the top of my head. Most of it could be salvaged, but she gave me choppy, “uneven on purpose” (??) micro bangs, which I didn’t ask for. And she wanted to cut them shorter when it was still wet! I have no choice but to go somewhere else and cut off more of the length, which erases months of progress of growing it out. Never trusting anyone from this salon again.

If you are looking for a truly knowledgeable and reliable hairdresser, do yourself a favor and call Luz. I go for her color and haircut services as well as deep conditioning for my very dry and brittle hair. Because my hair is damaged, due to medication, I perhaps rely on her creativity and experience more than some clients might need to do. She is an excellent listener, so I have had no difficulty in communicating my preferences and vision. I always leave the salon with the result I’d hoped for. The salon itself is spotless and inviting. The feeling as you walk in is one of safety. Her attention to the detail of Covid hygiene is obvious, and she protects her clients to the max, even providing eye protective wash cloths when she washes your hair. In spite of all the burdensome requirements of working in these circumstances for professionals like her, she doesn’t pass the burden on to you. Her focus remains on you, the client. My conversation with her, is as with a trusted family member. An incidental part of the positive experience, I think , is the terrific location of her salon right next to ‘Big Nugget’. There is lots of available parking, and a wide open plaza with spaced tables for your moment of outdoor social distancing. Jackie Cortez Im honestly very disappointed and sad...Ive only washed my hair once and used purple shampoo and even a purple mask. The expectation was to have some cool tone silver hair babylights but it seems more orange tint. Its a spotty job and no matter which way I part my hair I nearly cry. I know that I have a good amount of hair and it is a dark color but I expected more from this salon especially at the price and how difficult it was to get an appointment.

Misti Jeffers I was visiting Davis and just needed a hair refresh and they got me in with just a few days notice. I was really nervous about booking without knowing the salon, but Tory helped update my haircut exactly how I wanted! She walked me through toning my hair to look fresher without having to highlight it, and absolutely crushed my bob style. This is the shortest Bob haircut I’ve done in years and she nailed it on the first try. It was also a very relaxing studio and everyone I interacted with was really friendly. Also affordable! Highly recommend.

I first saw her after I had a bad haircut at a different salon and Eloina was kind and honest about what we would focus on to make it look better, and how long it would take to get my hair back to its normal style. It’s always fast and easy to snag an appointment typically within the same week or next week. The salon is very clean and professional and prices are reasonable based on the quality of the cut. I had to move away otherwise I’d only ever go here!

Brittany I havent had a haircut in 2 years. My hair was in desperate need of a proper cut but also I was interested in seeing if I could enhance my natural waves! Liz was my stylist. Im so glad I picked her because she was perfect for the job! I had very specific things I wanted (like making sure my layers were long enough to still be up in a bun and removing as much bulk as possible without ruining my waves). Liz handled my thick hair very well and I left the salon with my waves defined and happy. She helped me learn how to style it and diffuse it and what products to use! I highly recommend.

Eva Figueroa 2021: Got a wash and cut with Luci just now. The place was clean and comfy. She sanitized the seat and work area before I sat down. Did a thorough job cutting off my dead hair but styling in some layers so it still looked full (I have thin but curly hair that has taken a beating from bleach and months of Arizona sun and hard water, so it was a challenge Im sure). She suggested techniques and products and follow up care without being pushy. And the price that was stated was the price I paid, plus tip. I also dont usually talk much during a cut but she was easy to talk to without being super chatty. My hair feels healthy and has a great cut now. Ill be going back to her from now on. 1/26/2025 Update: Ive been going here for my past few haircuts (4 years) and just got one from Desiree, another stylist. She was very warm and knew how to cut curly hair as well. Had a thorough chat about what I do for my hair and what I need from my cut. Got another fantastic haircut and a great experience. Im really happy with how I look. Ive since moved to Pittsburg but will keep coming back here, I can trust them to do it well every time.
