prabhav adhikari This place is a hidden gem in Santa Barbara! I am so glad I found it!!!! And Connie is a sweetheart herself!!! This was our first experience here and we loved every bit of it!!!Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. Extremely clean, warm and cozy and very friendly environment. Absolutely recommend this place/salon to everyone I know. My sister got so many compliments for her new hair and new look; see pictures below..... Can’t thank you enough for making her sooo beautiful Connie!!!! I can keep writing about this place and everything about it.....The quality of the service is just amazing!!!!! The hard work she puts in is speechless! Hats Off to Connie, she is absolutely amazing! Phoebe L This spa is the best!! I see Shelby regularly for brow waxes and eyelash tints and the results are perfect every time. My eyelashes stay dark for WEEKS and I get so many compliments on my brows. I have also gotten my brows and lashes done by Lisa and she did an absolutely amazing job! Both Shelby and Lisa are so detailed and thorough- I’ve never left the Santa Barbara Spa with even a single hair out of place. They are the best in town and I will never go anywhere else. I also always feel good about spending my money at a true “mom ‘n’ pop” establishment. The SB Spa is a family-owned business and you’ll often see Shelby’s husband Rob at the front desk when you walk in. Shelby, Rob, and Lisa are so warm and friendly and genuinely care about all of their customers. Don’t sleep on this local gem!!

eve mathis I spent 75 minutes of pure bliss in Shelby’s hands. It was the most amazing facial I’ve ever thought imaginable. She did massage while the anti aging masks worked their magic on me. The spa is immaculate yet loaded with all the best equipment for a most professional experience. Even the shopping in the front of the store was so fun. I was able to stock up on all my favorite lingerie . I highly suggest you give SB Spa as a gift to someone special or better yet Treat Yourself.

The space is not only adorable but impeccably clean, making me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Shelby has a knack for creating a comfortable environment, and her attention to detail shines through in her top-tier waxes and flawless spray tans. Kristina Rodriguez Sienna is the perfect esthetician for your eyelash and beauty needs. Her studio is cute, clean and beautiful. She is a meticulous and fast worker, and her work stays flawless for weeks. Sienna is professional, so positive and a great person to be around. Sienna will do her absolute best having you happy about your lashes and knowledgeable about how to care for them as well. $$ She is priced for her work and her work is amazing. Go anywhere else and you will be disappointed. (You pay for what you get - and this is something that is on your face for weeks!) I would travel upwards of an hour to continue to see Sienna if I had to - but dont worry! She says she only has bigger and better plans for SB Beauty Bar here in SB :)

Lauren Carr Sienna is super friendly, professional and does great work. She’s also very efficient and works quickly, which I love. Her touch is gentle and I always leave a happy customer with some bangin’ lashes!

Andrea tyler Dianne installed lemonade braids for me. She is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. The atmosphere in her business was very warm and inviting paired with laughter and great conversation. She completed my braids to perfection. If you are looking for braiding services, this is the place to go.

Look for your self, the before and after are amazing! Yvette is also very honest about what colors your hair can pick up and how your hair will look! I love it!

Cherry Lola Such a wonderful job! Yvette has been cutting and dying my daughters hair for years. Recently Yvette was off and the other gentleman cut my sons hair. Sorry dont know his name. Cheyenne McKinley Yvette was a pure delight to work with! She did an amazing job cutting my hair and we had the most touching conversation Ive ever had with a hairstylist. She also didnt make me feel bad for dying my hair myself like other salons have. Also very reasonably priced (especially for the area). I will be a regular here and referring everyone I know!

Jerry Hernandez Sabrina is one of the best. I like my hair on the shorter side and the way she cuts my hair is great because it not only looks great when I leave, but it continues to look great as it grows out. It even looks good when I am way overdue for a trim. So when know I am going to be in SB for a day, I will always call ahead and book with Sabrina.

brenda hofstee Congrats to Leslie & Peggy, owners/stylists of Head West. They are celebrating 38 years at their location on Victoria! This is a big accomplishment as many businesses in their neighborhood have come and gone.

Truth Opinions Fabian is a great hairstylist. Very calm and relaxed like his shop Sequel. Sequel has a nice hidden plaza behind where two adjacent restaurant/bars are to enjoy while waiting. Highly recommend Fabian if you don’t know what to do with your hair and bring a photo. He’ll let you know pros/cons and what goes good with your face and body type. He will also go into detail about the hair product based on hair type and style.

Kolap Delneuville I had my hair done by Lana, she did an amazing job! I made an appointment for 12:00 and they took me right away! I was very impressed by the results as my stylist knew exactly what was needed for a healthier hair and confident self. Lana is very friendly and asks you questions step by step in order to perfect her magic. I had a baylage, hair cut and a blow dry which of course took a lot of time but Lana wanted it to be perfect - which each step is crucial! The only downside was that I was not offered any complementary drink as most salons offer tea, water or coffee. Which would have been nice considering I was sitting there for almost 3.5 hours. Another thing that surprised me was the price as it is different on Google then on their actual website. So that got me confused. But not a problem just a curious - I wasn’t expecting to pay $300 to be fair but it turned out to be a great success! Thank you Lana ✨

Sarah Acuña Makeup artist was very nice, but spent minimal time with the bride and the makeup did not translate well in pictures. The eyelashes that were applied showed glue. Not at all worth the price paid. She could have spent more time perfecting and actually blending in the eyeshadow.

I was a little apprehensive about going for the budget option here just top keep my price point the same... and my fears seemed to have been realized. The stylist was nice, but my haircut right to left is uneven. Its not bad enough that Id go back in for a fix, but I wont be returning to this store.

Sean Kelly I am not complicated when it comes to my hair. Just make me look good. I am really happy with the friendly stylists as well as their attention to detail. They trim my eyebrows too! Highly recommended for the shaggy headed people who want to look better. All of the stylists are good, but Betty was great today. Always fun to talk to!

Mary Ellen Civiello Alan is always so welcoming towards me as well as accommodating to all of my needs. He uses the product I requested which is ammonia- free Schwartzkopf, dyes my eyebrows, keeps my hair healthy with a trim each month and offers me tea with honey every time. :) Honestly, Urban Salon is the best beauty parlor in Santa Barbara and Alan, the owner, is an outstanding hair stylist. I feel lucky to have found him!

Yessica Yomely Alan is an amazing hairstylist. He knows exactly what style is good for you. He is very creative. He has very good communication skills and speaks with you in a friendly and courteous manner. The most important thing is that he pays attention to details and he is very clean and neat. He offered me water, tea and some snacks. The place is big plus it has parking lot. Alan always keeps the place with a good vibration and makes you feel like if youre at home. If youre looking for someone that makes you feel unique and comfortable this is the place. I totally recommend.
