Cansu I was here on Saturday to get a fill, and my nails started lifting and chipping by Monday. I was disappointed but however the staff was very friendly so I wanted to give them another chance. I was delighted by Michele who redid my WHOLE set and she didn’t accept any gratuity. I will definitely be back here and request Michele. Note: they have very reasonable pricing.

Caitlyn Pecsok i asked for a french tip, with a yin and yang ring finger design. she was sloppy with applying the powder acrylic, and my nails started popping off after 3 days. she eventually stopped asking for the picture and just did what she pleased. she drilled the circle into my nails, she didn’t use white color. i will not be coming again.

bee dia Since express hair accross the street closed. My whole family come here now since Tony had to move here from the other salon. I get my nails while my husband and kids get their hair cuts. Its very convenient for us. They get their stuff done while I get mine at the same time. I usually get the gel manicure.

She even recommended some fantastic products that I could purchase right there, and they smell incredible—bonus points for that! Kathy Nguyen-Joo A mutual friend referred me to Velia and I am very appreciative. Velia provided a trial session for my hair and makeup and I ended up having her do my final chosen look for my engagement photo session in April. Velia is communicative, organized, and personable. I felt calm and reassured that she would make me look stellar for my photo session. I had a natural, spring dewy look that lasted throughout the day even after the photo session had ended. Velia was attentive and considerate of the fact that I had sensitive skin and a history of allergic reactions to certain products used on me in the past. Charlotte Went to V Beauty which was absolutly wonderful! And i dont say that lightly. Very relaxing professional facial and head massage/wash. Ladies there were so nice. Place was nice and clean. Definitely will be back to this little gem of a business to V Beauty. Bonus they take Venmo and other cardless payments. They are also right across the street from Costco so got gas and did some shopping while feeling fresh and pretty.

Virginia Chavez I started going to paulina in October of 2023 after a devastating divorce. I came in to feel better about myself in a rough time, and I am so grateful I did. I always receive the best care and customer service every time I stop by. I initially came to paulina with babylights and she was able to transition me to plantmum blond in multiple sessions per her advice. When I first came to her my hair was very dry and was not in the best condition, but she educated me on what products to use and helped me get my hair to a strong healthy state for being bleached. Her mother Rocio has also done work on my hair and I always love when she is around in the salon. Rocio is the sweetest, and makes the energy very warm and loving. I never dread my hair appointments because I always have a great time catching up with them. The salon is very clean and cozy. Paulina and I have done so many different things with my hair and tried lots of different colors, but the best part is she treats my hair with so much care that my hair quality is better than what I came with. Ive moved to south San Francisco and I still drive to paulina for my appointments. I am so grateful to have found such a fun and caring hairstylist who has the knowledge to educate me on how to care for my hair. Thank you so much paulina and Rocio I love you guys !

This was my first haircut in 2-3 years since my main hairstylist from los gatos moved away, and I decided to go to this salon judging on the reviews and photos. I’m so happy to say that this place exceeded my expectations!! Dare I say better than all my past haircuts! Rocio knew exactly what haircut to frame my face and make me look like a completely different person, and Paulina did my tinsels so beautifully I’m obsessed! It was a first and they both made it such a welcoming and positive experience. Thank you both!!

Monique Jimenez I am deeply disappointed with the outcome of my hair transformation. Despite having visited this salon before, I was eager to address my growing gray hair. I scheduled a consultation with Daisy, providing her with reference images of my desired hairstyle. While I was cognizant that the final result may not be an exact replica of my vision, I was surprised by the significant deviation from my expectations. this review was emotionally challenging, as I had believed Daisy had a clear understanding of the assignment and my aspirations for this new transformation. However, I am profoundly disappointed with the final outcome of my hair transformation. Specifically, I had requested that a money piece be positioned on top of my hair and flow through the bottom, as illustrated in the picture I shared with her. After the hair was completed, I noticed that the top of my hair was gray, while the bottom and sides were significantly different. They did not blend well and were patchy, which did not look good after she blow-dried my hair. I asked her if there was a way to salvage the situation and try to blend the two strands to match the color of my bleached hair. Oh forgot the best part,, my appointment was at 9 a.m., and she had texted me that she would be running late. She arrived around 9:40 a.m. and immediately began working. When we discussed how to blend the two strands to match the color of my bleached hair, I felt that she was not fully committed to helping me. Instead, she seemed more concerned with prioritizing her next client. I was slightly irritated and uncomfortable because I was on time for my appointment, and I know that as a professional hairstylist, she would inform her next client that she was running late. Consider that her client was sitting directly next to us while we were having this conversation, making it even more uncomfortable. When I informed her that the hair was not blended properly and that the top and bottom did not match, she attempted to explain that she did not like to do the toners and that it would be better to do the bleach melt, which I was unfamiliar with. my hair look like a hot mess at this point, I felt that as the hairstylist, she should be more knowledgeable about the best approach, I am not trying to leave the salon with patchy, uneven tones of bleach-dyed hair. I simply felt that the entire situation could have been significantly improved and more professional. My facial expression showed my dissatisfaction. She then suggested a few alternative solutions, and I agreed to the expedited route. However, I felt rushed because she was prioritizing her other client’s needs . Our conversation was overheard by others, which made me feel MORE uncomfortable and embarrassed. I simply wanted to leave the salon ASAP. I payed $255 for this !!! I was left with no choice but to accept the alternative fast route, which I felt rushed and inadequate. I had hoped that she would have made an effort to rectify the situation. Overall, it was a big letdown. I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the results and how it made me feel. 15 mins after I left, I text her stating how sad and upset I am with my hair. NO REPLY , NO RESPONSE . This is why I am here today making this uncomfortable review that I did not want to do. I wanted to make sure that no one else goes through what I went through. Towards the end of everything, Daisy was so unprofessional . Being late, she didn’t achieve what I consulted with her. I felt rushed, reached out to her to discuss this matter and no reply, the lack of professionalism. This was my gift for Mother’s Day from my husband and this is what I ended up getting

Tomiko Oskotsky A hidden gem - nestled in San Jose on Bascom Avenue is Tiffany Beauty Salon. Tiffany has been cutting my hair for several years. She is punctual, meticulous, and cuts my lifeless hair into a beautiful bob every time. It always looks wonderful right after she cuts and styles it, of course. The truly amazing thing is how great my hair looks for weeks afterward despite how little I do with it ( I am pretty lazy with my hair - I wash it, but dont blow dry, dont use any product, nor do anything to style it), and yet continually receive compliments on my hair. I attribute this to Tiffanys haircut skills. Currently, with the pandemic, a lot of us worry appropriately about our health and safety. I am thrilled to see all the measures that Tiffany has put in place to prevent the spread of COVID (face masks, shields, social distancing, chairs positioned far apart, appointments spaced out so no one is waiting inside the salon, front and back doors kept open, forms to fill out before entering, temperature checks). Excellent customer service, fabulous haircuts, safe environment - all of this and her services remain very, very reasonable. Thank you so much Tiffany!

The facility was very clean and I felt safe. The stylist sanitized everything between use and took good precautions. I would highly recommend booking an appointment now that SCC approved reopening of approved businesses.

Amy T. She did a good job cutting my hair but at the end she raised all my hair in the back and decided to just buzz it off. She did say it looks messy. She didnt even ask me. Happened so fast and I couldnt even tell her to stop. Dont know what she was thinking. I had medium length hair and I sometimes tie it back. She had long hair at the time and I am sure she ties her hair back. When you buzz it off and it starts growing out, you cant tie it. Whenever I tie my hair I had short stubby hairs stickying out to the sides. It took me awhile to write this cause I wanted to calm myself down before I leave this review. After a whole 6 months, I am still unhappy with this owner.

M Pak Except for the fact that the air conditioner is too strong, it is generally neat and pleasant. It is an interesting complex that combines hair shops, spa nail shops, and eyebrow beauty or skin care shops.

Taylor Sanchez I love this concept!! My stylist taylor in suite 8 moved here awhile ago and its been amazing. There are a number of individual studios all decorated differently and run independently. Taylors spot is so cute and right along the Lincoln side. Its a treat to go here because its so private and intimate. No trying to talk over another stylist conversation or blow dryer!! And my hair ALWAYS looks amazing!!

Kat B My hairdresser (Omar Padilla) moved into the one of the stations about 3 years ago. Its near downtown Willow Glen, easy parking. The salon suites are very clean. My guy is by appointment only and hes been my go to hair dresser for over 13 years. Hes awesome with color, highlights and even bridal hair and make up.

It can get really busy sometimes!!!

Jasmine Kaur Color matching was not good for tanned/brown skin. Maybe they dont have as much experience with tanned or olive skin? Eventually it was corrected, for which I added a star, but I did pay extra for correction as well. I wish they offered 2 tones of highlights for reasonable price, as many other salons do, as it can add much more depth to hair. Also I will call them but will get no response.

Kimberly Romero Pricey but great service and staff is knowledgeable with hair and helping you style. Their website says basic hairstyling and hair cut is $65, I got an 1 1/2 inch trim they said I had to have my hair washed even though i came in with wet hair with and told them i just showered. They said theyll only put conditioner but let me know since I showered that no shampoo will be used but they are just following protocol. Got a nice head massage great service/hair advice. The total cost was $120. I told them their website says the haircut says $65 for basic hairstyling. They said the website was wrong, and I didnt push the matter by insisting they honor the website price so I paid the full price with a $20 coupon i found on their website. (They shouldve honored the website price, especially since on that same website they accepted the new client coupon) Update: they changed their website so now it specifys that the $65 haircut is for Juniors/under 10 years of age. But they really shouldve honored the website pricing in my case.

mari motta I love love love there! The girls are amazing! The scalp treatment really help with my hair grown plus I bought one serum to the scalp and wow I have even baby hair that is new. So happy! Plus I enjoyed the mills collagen and vitamins, worked a lot too me. Ambience is 100000 stars, the staff also 10000, and they know what they are doing with the your body and hair.

Jan L This place is great. Lisa is kind and easy to talk to. She doesn’t rush doing your hair, and she listens to what you want. The prices are extremely competitive for the area. Please note that her cuts come with a wash and blow dry! I think she’s been here for 15 years or so, and I can definitely see why she has so many regular customers.

I will say that this place is not cheap, but we keep coming back because we always leave there more than satisfied with the result! We have had hair cuts, my daughter has had her hair colored, even my husband who REFUSES to let anyone touch his hair goes here for haircuts and always leaves very happy. My daughters hair color and cut with style was $100 and I always leave a nice tip. The girls here are so kind, very professional, very clean, friendly, and do such great work! I wish I could afford to go here more to be honest! I highly recommend this place!!!

I got a hair cut at this place and it has been the most horrible haircut of my life. It was the day before my birthday and I cried every day every timeI looked on the mirror. My head looked like a mushroom with awful layers on the top and a tail. I had to go to a different place and pay $70 to get my hair fixed. If they do not know how to give girls a decent haircut, they should be honest and say that they don’t cut women’s hair. Hair is the frame of a woman and without it, we lose our self-esteem. I would ask for my money back but that won’t take away the horrible way I’ve felt since then. I won’t say her name but if she reads this I hope she does better next time she cuts a woman’s hair. I can’t imagine how she’s stayed in business for so long. Perhaps her customers don’t care about their appearance or maybe she messed up my hair on purpose.

Ruchi Pragyan Dash I visited this salon few weeks back for a face waxing service. Unfortunately, the technician applied the wax at an excessively high temperature, causing severe burns on my cheeks. Despite my discomfort, the technician seemed unconcerned. The salons lack of attention to customer safety and satisfaction is alarming. I would advise others to exercise caution when considering this salon.
