Katherine Rinehart I got a cut and style by Andrea, I was so happy with her work. She was able to get rid of all my split ends while still keeping the length. My hair is pretty frizzy but she made my hair so silky and smooth I couldnt stop touching it after I left the salon. Everyone is very friendly and the vibe is super welcoming.

Candy King My favorite Salon. My hairdresser is Brad who is wonderful for all my hair needs. I get the best color and hair straightening and I always am 100%satisfied with his work. My manicurist is Danika and she is the best. When out of town for months I still fly back for my appointments.

Christina Aquinde I LOVE Daisy and always feel refreshed and ready to seize the day after seeing her. I ALWAYS get compliments on my brows!!! Daisy is my go-to girl for everything! She does it all. Her space is extremely cozy and welcoming and I always feel so recharged every time I see her. The results speak for themselves, and I leave feeling so confident! Monica RAcuna Visiting The Beauty Spot SD was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I stepped in I was greeted with warmth and a sense of calm. Daisy was incredibly sweet and the attention to detail was beyond impressive. I had an appointment for my first time underarm sugaring and Daisy explained the process clearly, making sure exactly what to expect. Because she is very professional and has a sense of nurturing the sugaring itself was surprisingly not as painful as I anticipated, she worked quickly and efficiently, making the whole experience feel much easier than I expected. Overall, I am pleased I decided to try sugaring here. I highly recommend giving sugaring a try at The Beauty Spot SD so you leave happy and satisfied with the results.

Neely Neely I don’t know where these other people went to when they gave this business 5 stars. They must be family, friends, fake accounts, but this place is a walking nightmare! I question if they actually clean the tools used for nails. The sofas look worst than the ones thrown on the side of road. They probably have bed bugs and a potential scabies infestation waiting. My husband and I both went here hoping to get manicures and pedicures. They all but cut off his big toe nipping... he probably needed a tetanus shot after that visit with a chaser of hep A vaccine. If that wasn’t enough, the nail tech came around to my hands, and tore up my thumb! We both bled. She was rushing, and all she could say was “I sarree”. She had the audacity to tell us “4 dolla” more for antiseptic cleaning. If I could give negative stars I would! Do not go to this place unless you want to catch an infection or lice or bed bugs or scabies.

Lauren Meram What a great addition to the La mesa village area! Broadway salon is my go to for all my beauty needs! All the beauty professionals are so kind and talented—I even get my kids haircuts there! We keep coming back and have referred many people to Broadway!

Laura Maturo I love how theres many different businesses all under one roof. My hair stylist, Kristina, has a perfect little suite, but shes also very familiar with all the other businesses under the roof, so she can refer me to somebody for waxing or a facial, if needed! I love that!

Annalysa Pilpa Ive been with Isaiah for 6 years now and Ive loved my hair everytime! I normally come in to have a blonde/grey balayage done on my dark brown asian hair. He gets my hair to lift so easily and he knows how to mix toner to get the color I asked for. He pays a lot of attention to detail when doing my hair, color and cut, and takes his time. I would very highly recommend getting your hair done with him!

Haley Gibert Drew did my natural hair and my curls are now bone straight after washing my hair thoroughly. I have to start my natural hair journey over and would not recommend her for anyone with natural hair. Her response under this comment is dismissive and irresponsible. Not only has my curl pattern not returned after 1 month, but it remains bone straight in large sections across my head. I have tried clarifying shampoos, pre-poos, and even thorough protein treatments. This is not to point fingers at Dru, this is to just protect someone else out there like me who really loves their curls and doesn’t want to have start over again….like me. Do not let her put heat on your curls!!!!

Principled Thoughts I went to Dru for a silk press and got my hair (my leave out) burned to a crisp. Had to chop off 2 inches when I got home. Second, there is zero silk in the job Dru did. To be fair, the tracks I have installed are on their last leg of life, but Ive had two prior silk presses on this hair at another salon, the most recent one was 5 weeks ago and the hair came out super silky and beautiful. It took me getting home and really inspecting to see just how awful my hair still looks. I understand that she put the time in detangling my hair, but: 1) I was under the dryer for 2 of the 4 hours I was in there, and 2) I was expecting a SILK PRESS and did NOT get one. I cant help but feel duped out of 120 dollars, and my scalp is still dirty. Was not scrubbed at all. Its ok to tell a client that you just cant do something, or that their hair isnt in suitable condition for ABC, rather than send them home burnt crispy. Update: Dru sent me a text message cussing me out for leaving my honest review of her abysmal "work". Be sure to block her number if you have a similar experience and choose to leave a review.

Aaliyah Lynn I wouldnt recommend. I was told one price and as they were in my children heads the price went up (really thick, long, had to comb their hair and need a good trim). I would be OK with it if that was said when we walked in. We had three stylist working on us. Only one child had a style 3 part ponytail style the other 2 had to pigtails, with a crooked line. I also found out one child had office type of rubber bands in her head under the color scrunchies. I had to go to the ATM for more money as it ended up being way past the quoted price. We didnt get under a dryer or any style and paid $500+ for 1 adult and 4 kids. I didnt want to make a scene since this was my girls first experience and they werent happy either. The braider, was talked about in front of myself and the girls for being late and having her client waiting before and after they called her. Not to mention the conversation over the phone to the braider was held in front of us as she was being chastised. They seem sweet, but this shop should be more up front when price change before sitting them in your chair and at least have the hair nice enough to go to a mall. I had high hopes but was disappointed. Service: wash, blow dry (no deep conditioning), trim, (ponytail) to leave This was my experience, and other than the trim, I could have done this at home better. Ill be doing their hair again at home. Teach myself to do a trim.

Stephanie Duffy My hair went from busted and disgusting to fabulous and glamorous. I felt like a new women. The shampoo and cut. Was amazing. Dont let the outside fool you the first seat on the right did a fabulous job cut my hair to the healthy length and layered it the way I wanted it. Im extremely happy about my cut.

Nicole Suhweet Absolutely in LOVE with my new haircut! Mireya did a fantastic job, and I couldnt wait to go out that night and show off my new hair. The salon is in the perfect spot too, clean, comfortable and well lit and you can grab a delicious slice at Luigis right next door afterwards.

Salon is lovely, receptionist was friendly and helpful (especially when I dropped my credit card in the parking lot on the way out and she made sure I got it back!) and the service I had was very professionally delivered and exactly what I was hoping for. Katie Cersosimo Always a friendly greeting by Shari at the reception desk. The spa has a cozy, warm, and relaxing vibe. Bella is my go to esthetician. I’ve been getting monthly facials with Bella for over a year now. Bella does an excellent job with helping identify treatments and products to help me with the various skin concerns (dryness, acne, hyper pigmentation, etc) I have. During the facial she takes the time to explain the products she applied and answered my questions. During the enzyme facial she provided a gentle & relaxing scalp massage. Bella is very knowledgeable and genuinely strives to provide the best service.

Karen Cruz I’ve had facials with both Yadira and Brantley, both were super sweet and knew exactly what they were doing, they got me on the right track with my skincare and I couldn’t be happier, can’t wait to come back for my next facial.

JP Mendez So this place is pretty unique its got a ton of small boutique stores inside, which has some creative stores with services from hair to nails to teeth whitening to massages. The stores themselves are cozy and quaint, but the folks there are wonderful. 10/10 would recommend

Jay Browder Alonso cuts my hair about every three weeks which includes a trimming of my mustache and beard. I come away looking my very best and I couldn’t recommend him enough. The salon is clean and modern and has individual suites for privacy.

monica medina It’s a small no frills salon. The prices are reasonable and the staff is super friendly. overall this is a real gem of a place. Not pretentious like some of these overpriced salons.

Elizabeth Lunn I followed my stylist, Donna Reid, to Jasmines Salon and have been pleased by everyone there since. Rose does my nails now that I no longer can. Jasmine, Mary, Rose, Donna and other employees are always kind and professional. I have witnessed a lot of clients over the years and have never seen an unhappy one.

Noelle Whittum Mary is a true life saver. A much needed cut, and she was able to take care of me, a walk-in. Definitely coming back!

Theresa Sprague Dan is such an incredible hairdresser! I am so excited he joined the Pure Salon team. He has helped me on my hair journey for the past year, from being a brittle dry blonde bob to a longer sustainable healthy vibrant strawberry blonde hair it dimension and growth. Secure, easy parking in the garage below with an elevator in the heart of downtown. I love that each station is in its own private room with sliding glass door, so you have quiet, peace, relaxation and privacy! I don’t have to listen to hairdryers and a room full of chit chat.

HAZB I am in love with my cut! Irina not only took time to listen to what I wanted, she showed and explained to me what she was going to do. I didn’t feel rushed like I do at most salons. She really listened! and my hair turned out *exactly* how I wanted it! I have found my new salon and they have other services too! I highly recommend Irina, she is very good at what she does!
