Desalene Jones Not only does the team at Davis keep my skin glowing, they somehow manage to keep my spirits high, too. Dr. Shay? She knows her stuff. She asks questions and then—wait for it—actually listens. Nurse Ashley has seen my weird (and a whole lot more), and remains utterly unshaken. She’s gentle, checks in regularly, and handles a laser like it’s an extension of her hand. Clarissa is always upbeat and somehow manages to comfort me while snapping those not-so-flattering “before” pics—honestly, it’s a superpower. And Joy’s facials? Theyre soothing, bubbly, and somehow leave me feeling energized and floaty all at once. The entire crew at Davis creates a space that’s professional, respectful, and full of warmth. If you want expert care with a side of good vibes, this is the place to be.

Holly My experience here was positive from start to finish. Dr Shay and her staff are very friendly and professional. Nurse Ashley has a light touch. I didn’t feel any pain with my treatment. Dr. Shay is knowledgeable and lovely. I highly recommend this medical spa.

Danielle Davidson My experience getting a facial with Paige was blissful. Her studio space is welcoming and decorated with artwork depicting self-love messages and images of humans inhabiting bodies of all shapes and sizes. I immediately felt at home. The products she used all smelled pleasant, but nothing was overly-perfumed which I appreciated as someone who is overwhelmed by strong scents. The scalp massage she gave me was otherworldly, I completely relaxed at that moment. My skin was radiant and hydrated when I left, so much so that I got compliments. I’m looking forward to my next appointment when I’m going to try the new dermaplaning service. I highly recommend Paige’s Faces!

Curating a skincare routine has always been overwhelming for me and Paige made sure to help me figure out a plan that was simple while still getting my skin everything it needs. Kaila Van Dyck I have been here for about 3 years for my lashes and I never go anywhere else! They are so experienced that they are super quick, and my lashes always last. I’ve had my lashes done by everyone in their comfy salon and they’re all great! I have been going to Cris lately and Cris does such a phenomenal job, 10/10 recommend

Sydney Morrissey Amanda is so supportive, kind, understanding, and great at skincare! Super knowledgeable, she customizes the experience to fit my skin type and current needs and is always very mindful throughout service. The spa is small but still very comfortable and its so easy to relax there! I have been to Bare Body Aesthetics to get the hydro dermabrasion, dermaplaning, microcurrent facial, and brow lamination for over a year and can definitely recommend getting these done here! My skin always feels so refreshed. 10/10 :)

Fereshta Angel Ashufta I left this review 12 years ago for Lisha and it still stands! She consistently gives me what my friends use to call “magazine hair.” I highly recommend her skill set. She knows how to work with thick, long hair as well as thin hair, wavy/semi curly hair, etc. I’ve been her do beautiful work on many I’ve referred.

She Reigns My boyfriend treated us to mani/pedi service for Valentines and the overall experience felt welcoming and lovely. They had piano music playing in the background that supported the experience and the manicurists were very attentive to not just the service, but us as people engaging in conversation the whole time. Im not sure about price because I didnt pay for it and they did offer quite a few upgrades which I wasnt sure if it was a kind suggestion or attempt to upgrade the service. I would return overall it was a loving self care experience

Leanna Shebib I absolutely love going to MyLan! She is a very sweet nail tech and she knows what she’s doing. I’ve been going to MyLan for my nails for a few years and she is very talented. She has dried flowers, she can draw designs, and she learns what each person likes so I never leave disappointed! I will wholeheartedly miss talking to the kind workers here and I wish I didn’t have to find a new nail tech. I recommend coming here for any and every occasion! Thank you MyLan I’ll miss you ❤️

Rita Huang Did a powder dip there and it didn’t turn out well… the coats were wayyy too thick that my nails look like puff pillows. In a bad way. She also cut my cuticles MULTIPLE TIMES when filing my nails. My fingers were bleeding and she DID NOT APOLOGIZE. Ouch. The pedicure was good but will not go back again. Probably can do a better job at home by myself…

Lolo M Nice people. My nails came out pretty nice, but it could have been better. I has asked for my middles nails with glitter lile an ombre, however it was more like half with glitter and half without. My lady also used her finger to wipe off some of the glitter off which meant that she had to layer the glitter even more. A couple of my nails ended a little uneven, but you cant tell too much. She did take her time and was careful with her work.

Nina Stewart Great service. A friend and I walked in around 9:35am on Picnic day and they fit us right in. Both had gel mani and pedi, done in a little under 2 hours. They were kind, salon was dated but clean. Prices were competitive, if not cheaper than other places I’ve been in this area. We will be coming back!

Lizbeth Hernandez The photo speaks for itself, my nails were cut badly I looks like I chewed on them and they put the acrylic super thick. My nails are so ugly and chunky. You pay what you get. The lady who helped me was very rough I will not be coming back.

Manu Saini I recommend everyone to come here (especially UCD students) if they want to get a quality haircut. If you are looking for a fade or taper, this is the place to go. This place is also super affordable ($25) which is crazy for the quality of haircuts you get when you come here. Lilly, the barber who cut my hair was really respectful and welcoming.

To get the best results, its a good idea to bring pictures of the style you want. They’ll follow your preferences exactly rather than suggesting their own, ensuring you get the look youre aiming for. Highly recommended!

Shazib Elahi I highly recommend Peter, who — in addition to being a cool guy — totally nailed my haircut. It was also reasonably priced and didn’t take very long. I will definitely be back here.

Wafa Hassan This place used to be decent, but now its just about taking your money. I brought my 6-year-old in for a simple haircut, and the barber completely ruined it, uneven, sloppy, and nothing like what we asked for. And to top it off, they charged us $30 for this awful cut! It’s clear they’re more focused on making money than providing quality service. I’ll never come back. Zero stars if I could give them that.

Erick Navarrete Very clean and elegant barbershop. It was about time Davis got a barbershop that matched the town. Every time I go I make an appointment and have never been disappointed it is a new business and ran by a young entrepreneur who is giving it his all to make his dreams come true. Every business has their struggles in the begging but Julio is very passionate and the studio has evolved since it first opened till now and will continue to get better I have no doubt about it. Amazing place great haircuts.

Expressprofessionalpainting First off, I want to say that the interior of this place is such a vibe and not only was a haircut. Great, but I had such an amazing Experience. From the music that was playing to the conversations that were taking place made me feel like home and a new friendship was created. I’ll definitely be going again and if anyone is considering a new barber spot I definitely considered giving them a try. They are amazing.

joshi akshay I had an extremely disappointing experience at this salon. The staff seemed mostly undertrained and inexperienced, and they did not follow my instructions properly. Despite explaining my preferences clearly, the result was the worst haircut I’ve ever had. It felt like the person cutting my hair was either new or lacked the necessary skills. I am unhappy with the service. I will never visit this shop and not recommend to others.

Lynne Stevenson Mary has excellent hair styling and cutting skills for all types of hair. I have thin straight hair with several cowlicks, and she always cuts my hair in a way that ensures a nice style. I started with her in 1982 (thats right ... not a typo) and have never gone to anyone else. Need I say more?

Brian Lee Mo’s been my barber for the past few years and I enjoy coming here to get my hair cut. Mo is super easy to talk to about how I want my hair cut and easy to talk to about sports or life, making it a chill and personal experience. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants solid, consistent cuts at a reasonable price.

Clayton Chen Mo is the best! Great attention to detail. Ive received compliments from other barbers on my haircut. Ive since moved out of state, but have yet to find a replacement of his caliber.

Blake Dunn They gave me a horrible hair cut. The stylist, Gabriell, did a terrible job of cutting my hair. She kept leaving to work the front desk, and did not pay much attention to detail with the hair cut. Its uneven, not properly cut or faded, and just looks bad. I would not recommend getting your hair cut here.

G. L. You get what you pay for. I knew this coming in. However, I did not expect to get treated so rudely. The woman who appeared to be supervising exhibits the irrational irritability of someone on amphetamines. I wont be back.

Riley Hoffman I am incredibly disappointed. I showed photo of long waves and just asked that they cut enough off to keep it health, assuming it would be closer to a trim. I have never had an issue with this being my request. I am not a hair stylist but everything about this seem wrong. My hair feel so thin at the bottom and he took off 4 inches and only used the the thinning shears for the entire hair cut. I have gotten layers for a long time and I have never seen this technique. My hair feels like a rat tail at the end when and goes two inches past my shoulders when it was over midway down my back when I walked in. I wish I had asked him to stop when he grabbed a handful of hair and chopped it with the thinning shears. I wish they could put my hair and I was tearing up at check out. I called back crying after I left asking where to leave a review. I have gotten my hair cut at great clips for years and I have never had this issue. I feel horrible

Irving Family owned. Been coming here for years, > 6 years. Always satisfied with the service. Friendly. Clean. Easy parking, always available. Near restaurants, gas stations and a supermarket.

Amey Gohil I had an amazing experience at Sports Clips with Vanessa! She was super friendly and took the time to ask exactly how I wanted my haircut, which made me feel really comfortable. The cut turned out great, and she did it exactly as the picture I showed her. The extra touch of the shower and massage was so relaxing. Definitely will be going back for my next haircut. Highly recommend Vanessa for her excellent service!

Alexander Christensen Absolutely fantastic experience from this location. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed and taken care of. The haircut was exactly what I wanted, with incredible attention to detail, and the stylist really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. Ricky Orellana I called them to ask for a men’s haircut they told me the price and I said I would be right over. When I arrived the person at the front desk looked me up and down asked me how they could help me. I told I called about the men’s haircut. The place seemed somewhat empty with 1 person getting their nails done. They said they were completely booked for today. I said that was fine and when could I schedule an appointment to get a haircut she looked down and repeated that they were completely booked for today. At that point it became obvious that they didn’t want to deal with me or offer any service so I left.

J. Gudino I wanted a fill on a manicure to maintenance one I had done 2 weeks ago somewhere else. It looked great and just needed some fill in. They told me they do that. When I went in they confirmed they could fill in my nails. Then the tech proceeded to strip my manicure completely off and attempted to upsale me one of their manicures once she had destroyed mine. I was then charged the price of a manicure for the service that I didnt ask for. I would not use again.

M W This place is great! Very clean and all new chairs/equipment. The ladies were super nice and very accommodating, even gave me a pair of flip flops (real ones!) free of charge because they knew I had to go back to work ASAP. Prices are great and the pedicure was very high quality. Will definitely be returning.
