Lana Dale-Moore My absolute favorite salon! Kim always does my pedicures but everyone there is so talented. I had a CBD pedicure done and it was so relaxing. It came with a hot rock massage, massage with citrus fruits, steaming machine, and beverages!! They have a ton of color options and over so many different services!! Lashes, nails, pedis, waxing! Super clean practices and really cute salon!!!! So worth!!

Shelley Moreo I recently had an excellent experience getting a spray tan at Brilliant. I seamlessly booked the appointment online and secured an appointment that same day. The process was quick and easy. The owner was super friendly and professional. She took the time to explain what to do and what not to do. She shared the different shades and helped me choose the perfect one for my skin tone. The spray itself felt light and even, and I was impressed with how natural the color looked afterward. It dried fairly quickly, which was a plus, and I loved how it gave my skin a beautiful glow. I highly recommend Brilliant for anyone wanting excellent service and looking for a fabulous spray tan!

katie novak I got my nails done with Kristie and I can’t recommend her enough! She only uses high quality products and doesn’t damage natural nails. She recreated the picture I wanted perfectly and was so thorough. I loved her personality and conversation and that makes me want to go back to her even more. Wendy Boller I recently had the pleasure of visiting Studio 56 in Carmel, CA. The salon is tucked away in an alcove with other shops just off the main sidewalk. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. A friend recommended the salon. My stylist, Beverly, was absolutely fantastic. She took the time to listen and gave me great suggestions. I asked for a new look. I went in with moderate expectations for a trim and a few highlights. I came away with a makeover. Beverly is a true artist and expert. She worked magic with my hair to create a look that best compliments my face. She went above and beyond with advice on how to complete the look. I left the salon with a new level of confidence. Highly recommend!

Molly Blosser Melissa is excellent! Melissa a real artist. Having been to many salons across this country I can honestly say she is a real jewel in Carmel Valley! First time doing my color and she nailed it! She has a great warm, loving spirit that makes the entire experience a complete home run!

Raven Mondragon I’ve been getting my haircut at the bee hive for a couple years now and am never disappointed with the service I receive from Melissa. She’s aways very thorough with my cut and currently manages my head full of Cowlicks with ease. The environment at the studio is always inviting and a great place for conversation and self-care. D Mc I was extremely disappointed with my makeup experience at the salon! I booked my appointment for bridal makeup my appointment was at 12:30 for my wedding later that afternoon at 3:30. The experience was horrible! The makeup artist spent the majority of my session applying and then wiping away the makeup she had applied because she didnt like the colors, she did not seem to know what she was doing. I came in with pictures and had full confidence with the salon based on the price point and other reviews and I was very disappointed that my experience was so sub par. At 1:15 she was still trying to apply my eyes and I needed to leave at 1:30, when she finally applied the foundation it was not the color I needed, she had applied a very white foundation to my tan skin. At that point I had to leave the salon to make it on time for my photos without completed makeup. I had to complete my makeup on my own for my wedding. Makeup should not be offered as a service without an experienced makeup artist on site especially for bridal makeup!

Julie Conover Unpretentious, locally owned salon with an a la carte menu, and reasonable prices. You can choose whether you want a wash & cut, dry cut, or the works with blow dry styling. I’m very happy with the job Kim did on my hair! Highly recommend if you are not into the ridiculously priced cuts in fancy salons.

Rebecca Smith Nassime was my stylist when I lived in CA, and to the day she is the ONLY person who has ever cut my hair to work with the wave instead of fighting it. I miss being able to just throw some product in wet hair, scrunch, and head out the door!
