Alexa Hernandez This place is nice, but I come here only for Angela Lozanos work. Shes literally the best and most versatile. Shes nailed every hair color combination, cut, undercut, and style Ive thrown her way. Ive been her client for years. If you want crazy colors, a beautiful ombre, an undercut/shaved side, or just a trim. She should definitely be your girl.

Pierreasha Ponder Tarras Hair Studio is WOW! First, I am new to the state, so I searched for a braider and called different places. I wasnt comfortable until I contacted Tarras. On the phone, the lady that answered was so helpful and pleasant, and she connected me to Brockie, who could service me even on short notice. I have been serviced twice, and I have had the same experience each time; they all have excellent customer service from when you walk in until you leave. The ambiance of the studio is warm, welcoming, and clean! You can relax while being serviced. My Braider is Brockie, and every single time she gets it right! Her work is neat and quick, and shes friendly and patient.

Charity This is by far the BEST HAIR SALON in the high desert!!! The staff is Excellent and very professional! Beverly does OUTSTANDING braids with natural and added hair.

Shirley Bell I love this place. Whenever I am there they greet me with so much love and welcome. I feel like home. Tarra is my stylist and when she has finish my hair I feel like crying with joy. I am pretty again! Every stylist is kind, awesome smiles with good conversations. Blessed atmosphere.

Aline Castillejos I had made an appointment for June 22 a month in advance. I needed to be ready at 9am, therfore the lady told me to be there at 6am. The style was to be hollywood waves with clip ons. Note, I have never purchased clip ons before so I went in person to get advised which ones to buy. The lady advised me to buy from elfin hair which was not cheap. The day of my appointment I arrived 15 min early and waited for 50 minutes but she never showed up. If I could, I would rate the place 0 stars for the lack of professionalism and making waste my time and money. The current customer who recommended me will also not go ever again. Please be careful to make appointments the day of the event, they will let you down.

Shannon Young I had a great experience at Hair Junkies with Lanelle. Honestly, its the first time Ive really loved my hair since moving to California almost three and a half years ago. The salon has a relaxed, unpretentious vibe - super chill and comfortable. Every other clients hair looked amazing too. Definitely recommend!

Rosa Y Although the stylist is great. I didnt get anywhere close to what i wanted. For paying that amount of money, I am completely devastated. I will not go back, I feel that amount of money is unreasonable but I still payed it but I dont like my hair. I wanted to add, the color looks nothing like I asked. It should have been darker. I have never gotten my hair done like this after surviving a dv situation I needed to treat myself. Im a single mom and this was a sacrifice for me. The triggers I got from the hair color go beyond disappointment. This color brought me back to someone Ive left behind. I have cried so much over this decision. The color could have been a bit closer to what I asked. The color itself is light all over, not at all what I asked for. The Pic were darker roots which I no longer her have. Sometimes you guys should think of the client and what is behind their decision for change and understand some stories are deeper than others.

Haley Yarber I had my first visit with Lanelle today, and she was the sweetest and most professional stylist that I have had the pleasure of working with. She helped me think of ideas that suited my style then worked for hours to get the finished product correct. My hair can be stubborn and often turns out wonky, but she went out of her way and spent extra time on tweaking anything (color and cut) that she/I wasn’t 100% happy with. The salon was also easy to fine and very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be going back.

Cheyenne Anderson Abby Maestas did such a wonderful job. I hadn’t had my haircut in two years and was super nervous because it’s hard to find someone you trust! I couldn’t be more happy with the result. I definitely am going to book again but next time for a highlight ❤️ Thank you Abby!

Jenesse Ramirez I went to get my hair done by Genesis, and I have never dyed my hair before, we went through a lot of steps and she asked a lot of questions as well with my hair routine. She made me feel comfortable and I ended up loving the ends results. I had also gotten layers by her and she did would cut and ask how I feel about it before cutting off too much. I definitely recommend coming to genesis to get your hair done!

Summer Santana I had an excellent experience at this Salon. Genesis did my hair.My hair was to the middle of my back. I went in for a trim and decided that I wanted to cut my hair above my shoulders instead. Genesis asked me a lot of questions to make sure that I would be comfortable with such a big change, she even took the time to cut it in phases to make sure I liked it before taking off the final couple of inches. I highly reccomend her services!

Thomee Parga Bourbon Salon is fantastic with an amazing environment. My teenage daughter gets her hair done by Kim and she always does an amazing job! All the stylist are so welcoming. 100% recommend this salon.

Luis A Janet is amazing at cutting she always is good at recreating reference photos that I show her. She will always ask questions along the way to tailor to you specific hair. Im always happy with my haircut afterward and will continue to keep going like I have for the past two years.

Raul Martinez I’ve been going to Janet for my haircuts for over 4 years now. I went without a haircut for 3 months after she left the shop to open her own salon. That’s how picky I am when it comes to the quality of cut she has provided over the years. Janet is the only person that has given me, her customer, EXACTLY what I asked for in a haircut. Prices are unbeatable, no wait time because she runs her shop with appointments only. You’d be lucky to walk-in on a day she’s not busy and get a cut on the spot. Her and her husband are so friendly and very welcoming. The shop is always clean and they take pride in their business. I love coming here.

Alaina Mae I came in on my way to LA because I had time to burn. Janet was very sweet and attentive. I have hair down to my waist and she was intimated at all by my request.

Desiree Harvell Great place for a haircut and style! I called earlier in the day for an appointment and an hour later I was in the salon! Wash, cut and style only took a little over half an hour, and my hair looks great! Paula had great advice for my curly hair as well. I got my ends clipped with layers and maintained a great amount of my length! Super fast, great service and surprisingly cheap. Before and after:

Isabella Lopez I absolutely love coming here !! They always take their time and whenever I get my hair cut it grows so much faster ! I 100% recommend coming here. Worth the money.

Victoria Margraff The owners are kind, friendly, and welcoming. The salon is very clean. My hair was damaged from self coloring at home during pandemic. Paula took her time on my hair and took care to explain to me and specially treat my hair with gentle products that would not further damage my hair. She did an amazing transformation on my hair and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! I’ll never go anywhere else.

Belen Perez Came down to high desert for business trip for the day and needed a hair cut and style, really badly! Saw this salon had 4.7 star. Paul cut my hair and wow! He did a fantastic job! Price very reasonable and very very friendly guy! Made me feel very welcomed.. highly recommended!!

Steven Marcelletta I have been going here since 2012 and there hasnt been a service that I was ever unhappy with. I have gotten regular haircuts, eyebrows waxed and had my hair dyed in different colors and was always happy. This picture was from 2014, we both got hair color done, his was blue and mine was burgundy. Both turned out amazing.

G’yooo When I finally thought I found a decent place to get a haircut I get hit with an extra fee for picking who I want to cut my hair. What is happening with the world/America? You don’t even have the freedom to pick who cuts your hair without being charged an extra fee for it. Who came up with this lame fee? Surely a jealous stylist who thought it wasn’t fair that people were picking a certain person. Get rid of this ridiculous fee!

Zulma Herrera 10/24 Good service, took us in the last hour so appreciated. My boy was was frustrated with his hair so it was a ‘today’ situation. Stylist did a great job! I bought the $100/4 cuts card. Update 1/2025 great service again, my other son (9) really liked his cut. Stylist gave him time and styling pointers.

Toro Amanda Christa Jessica did my hair today and I am so happy with how it came out. I am so grateful for her taking the time. I have a ton of hair and I know it is a lot of work cause I havent had the best hair care for myself. She did an amazing job. The color, the cut, the silky smooth look. I never trust anyone with my hair but Im glad I did. I will never go to anyone but her again.

Kirsten Laverty This place is a gem. Yes, they are almost always busy. But its for a good reason. Plus, there are so many barbers that the wait time is super fast. My sons and husband all liked their cuts.

Gabriella marie Thank you Damien for taking my son in with special needs. Damien was VERY patient with him. Its really hard to find understanding service at some places. But Damien was great. Thanks! The reason Im giving 3 stars is because of the receptionists. First when i call I specifically asked for someone who has experience with autistic children. I had to ask 4 times on the phone because the girl kept saying she had someone in mind but not confirmed if they had the experience. Although Damien was great the receptionists lied and said hes had experience with autistic kids. Aside from that she could barely hear anything I was saying on the phone because its so loud in the shop on her end. I had to repeat myself a few times. Couldve been a better experience without receptionists attitude when I got there as well.

Mariela D.Santos I brought my son for a simple haircut, they sat him right away, but my goodness..... the person cutting his hair was just on his damn phone and chit chatting his life away with another employee! He didnt get started with my sons haircut til 20 minutes after he was sat down... Some of these fellas need to stop getting distracted while working. Its not fair to have us wait so long for them to even start cutting peoples hair. Its very unprofessional and rude to the customers! Were literally just watching them chat with their buddies. This will be the last time we come here and definitely not recommending this place to anyone... sorry to the rest that are actually working and taking care of their customers.

Kaiser Soze There are lots of salons, and a lot of hairstylists that do a great job. But the quality of color, craftsmanship in cuts & styling, and the professionalism I’ve seen at this salon are a huge jump & difference between all others in the area. The majority of salons are also known to have a very stuck up vibe, and are known to have catty stylists that make you feel uncomfortable or self conscious about your appearance or service due to their demeanor. That’s definitely not the case here. If that wasn’t enough, David, and his team literally make you feel at home, and constantly put out pretty / glam hair without fail. Don’t trust edited pictures on IG. Make the right decision, and go to David first. He’s a master colorist, and uses high quality color that is not as acidic / damaging as others. You’ll be glad you did.

McKenzie Jones Excellent experience. Came in without an appointment and we were able to be worked in same day for a custom color for my 8year old daughter. Joanna Cervantes listened to what we wanted and executed it beautifully all while dealing with a young girl’s first real salon visit. Parents and daughter are all happy.

Melina Perez I had an appointment at 1:00pm with Alexandra, she got there 47 mins late, after lying that she’s 5 mins away. She gets there, we go to the chair, she apologizes saying she forgot about my appointment. We start the cut, really bad communication between us, I show her the cut I want and she asks me about three times if it’s okay to cut more length- I say yes and she still doesn’t be me the haircut I want. I’ve been here before and showed her a picture of me with my previous haircut and my hair came out nothing like the photo. She still had the audacity to leave me in the chair mid haircut to attend other people- meanwhile when I got there it took like 30 mins for me to be attended after ringing the reception desk. Then during the haircut she yanks my eyebrow piercings with hair comb and gives a half-assed apology, and leaves me with a bump near my piercing for two weeks. Ouch. Then she still charges me $80, no discount even though she was basically an hour late. Ridiculous. Mind you- I was alone, clearly young, and feel I’ve been taken advantage of. Also she still complained that she doesn’t have a lot of time because she has another appointment coming up- whose fault is that exactly that you don’t have time?? Hello?? Anyway, wish I could’ve said this to her face.

Toni Aguilar I went in and got a cut from Joanna Cervantes yesterday and I was so beyond nervous since I’ve only cut my own hair for over a decade, she was attentive, she listened to every thought and concern I had. The execution exceeded my expectations!!! My hair looks and feel soooo amazing. She truly brought my confidence back. I’ll forsure be booking with her.

Jose Gonzalez We just experience a bad experience with the manager at this place. This place is not child friendly and I do not recommend it because the way they treat children. I was asked by the manager to take my son, who is 18 months old, outside. Be mindful that the day and time that this happened, the sun was brutally hot. I understand that there’s a policy to not allow children to be inside their salon, but we are first time customers and we were never told that such outrageous policy exist. We used to travel down the hill for the hair treatment of my wife and decided to give this salon a try, but right on the first time we experience this. Many places never make this absurd policy, on the contrary, they offer treats for kids and encourage parents to bring them just to make more money. The manager is the adult here, how can you refuse service over a child. It is the way the manager expressed her policy making it seem as if my son was an animal who belongs outside, and animals are not meant to be outside on hot weather. Customers is what drives any business. I am a manager myself and if I can’t accommodate customers need to retain customers, I would be careful on the way I say things as I do not want to lose customers. This was unacceptable. I believe the managers name is Robin

Robbie Parker I just visited Mirror Mirror for the first time today. My color was a mess going in, and perfect when I left!! My hair stylist, Michelle, was wonderful! Everyone there is super friendly, and the entire salon has a positive vibe! I will be going there from now on, and recommend them highly!!

Rashell Ortiz I went to get hair done with Michelle Bruno, asked if she could do my hair like the picture and my hair looks nothing alike is so embarrassing have to walk around with my hair looking that bad, doesn’t even look like if it was done by a professional. A dye box would have done a better job.

Tuni Na Yesterday I was at Hair salon and I asked Maria / maybe She is the owner / can you do the perm ? She said yes, I can. When She finished my hair She saw my hair fully damaged. She said :my hair no good for perm ...The perm burned down my hair all over. Now I loosed my hair , broke and burned. I can not recommend Her job . She didnt looks like a starter but take a huge mistake. I just cry for my hair . Im very disappointed. :(

Angel Blanco Every time I have called this placed the lady is closed I should have seen that as a warning. I booked her finally and then 3 days before my appointment she canceled me telling me that once again someone is sick and she can’t do it. That has been a her excuse every time. I don’t even know how she is managing to keep her shop open if she never works or has anyone in there available to do work.
