Maggie Zheng Dylan was my stylist and he did a great job. I have very thick hair, that’s also pretty dry. I asked for long layers with a bang trim, and I love the haircut I got. He was super knowledgeable, and talked me through which hairstyles would be suitable for my face shape and hair type.

N I wanted to change my hair color and style, but I had no idea what would suit me. Dylan was very attentive and professional. He designed a hairstyle that perfectly matched my skin tone, clothing style, and personality. I love my new hair color and style. I highly recommend this salon.

Robert Mason Im over 40 and I have never liked my hair/haircut. Shes the best Ive been to. It always looks good and Ive never said that consistantly. She really needs to raise her prices. Its $15 for a mans haircut and shes the best around.

Jia Seow DO NOT COME HERE. I asked the lady to cut my hair *half an inch from the bottom*, which is quite simple. I thought she understood, and I asked her if I could see it when she started cutting because the scissors looked too close and I wanted to make sure she got the right length as I had a bad feeling. But she insisted to keep cutting and didnt let me see. Turns out, she cut it so there was about only one inch of hair from the root. Luckily it was just on the bottom layer and not my entire hair. I have been trying to grow the bottom layer for the past year and now my hair is ruined. I am very upset and just wasted $10. PLEASE save your money and go to another salon where the stylist actually listens to you.

Kaori I have been getting my haircut from Jun for over 8 years. I like to keep my hair short but it is not easy to find a hair stylist who can give a stylish short haircut for a woman. Every time she goes back to Japan (where she is from), she goes to seminars or gets a cut from a well-known stylist to keep learning about new trendy hairstyles and/or about new products. I trust her skills and knowledge so much that sometimes I asks her to do “whatever she wants” and it always turns out great! I often get comments about my haircuts and people ask me where I get my hair done. Sure, sometimes it is not easy to get an appointment as some reviewers said, but I would rather let my hair grow a bit longer (yet, it keeps in a good shape for a long time) than go someone else for a haircut.

RY L I’ve been looking for a hair salon that can deal with my hair for a long time. Chloe from Pono did a great job today to trim and style my hair! She listened to my requests (attending a wedding but low daily maintenance request), as well as gave me easy to follow hair maintenance and styling tips. I’ve learned a lot! Thanks Chloe for giving me a great haircut! Would love to come back next time. ☺️

Betty Zhong Very hard to get reservation. My first hair cut with jun was very good, but the second with someone else was not very good. And it’s very hard to get them pick up the phone and make a reservation. I’d love to make another appointment with Jun but it’s just super hard.

W.H. I came in for a men’s haircut but unfortunately, this was not the experience I was hoping for. My appointment wasn’t with Jun, who is highly recommended, but with the other stylist. The haircut felt rushed and left me with the impression that I wasn’t really welcome, almost as if she didn’t want me there but couldn’t turn me away. The result was disappointing, though not entirely surprising given the rushed process. There was excessive use of thinning scissors, which left my hair uneven and inconsistent in length. Some areas were noticeably longer than others, making the overall cut look messy and unpolished. I couldn’t help but wonder if it was because I’m not Japanese that I was treated this way. Regardless of the reason, I left feeling unwelcome and dissatisfied. Perhaps Jun would provide a better experience based on other reviews, but I can’t recommend this stylist for anyone seeking quality or attention to detail.

Dongmin Kim The owner is nice and talkative. However, I wouldnt say he is good unless you are planning to get a buzzcut. If you want to get a $40 buzzcut, you will like it here, but if you want a stylish hair cut, avoid this place.

Nhu Vlog Honestly, I was so skeptical before coming in, but my hairstylist Alyssa completely changed that. She’s amazing! I’ve had terrible experiences at salons in the past, and one in particular traumatized me when the stylist chopped my hair from back-length to shoulder-length, leaving it thin with too many layers. I was scrolling through Yelp and randomly found this place. I gave them a call to book a layered haircut and, since I didn’t know which stylist to choose, they reassured me that Alyssa was great with layered cuts. I decided to trust them, and I’m so glad I did! I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out, it’s perfect! Alyssa is so easy to talk to, and what felt like a 1 hour and 45-minutes flew by so fast since she made the whole experience so fun and comfortable. If youre looking for a talented, friendly stylist, I highly recommend her!

Carmela Quinito I was looking for a color solution that covers up my gray hairs and allows them to blend nicely when my hair grows out. I was also looking for a stylist closer to where I live, and could provide a newer, better color refresh for my hair. I found Limon Salon -- their reviews and Insta convinced me to set up an appointment. Martha listened to what I needed, and provided options. Im so glad I went with her recommendation -- I love how my hair turned out. She went above and beyond by providing tips on taking care of my hair and product recommendations. I was in the salon for 4+ hours, which allowed me to observe the other clients. And they all had amazing hair after their appointments. I knew then that you couldnt go wrong with anyone at this salon. My hair still looks great a month later because of Marthas tips, with minimal styling. The gray hairs blend so well with the color. Ill definitely be back when its time to touch up. Thanks so much, Martha!

Zeal Mehta I went for my curly hair cut. Elizabeth is knowledgeable and listens what you want and then did haircut the same way I wanted. Also I was donating my hair so she knew the process and helped me cut the hair in ponytails. It turned out so good. Also she provided me knowledge how to style my hair.

Shaina Jackson I can’t say enough about Karla! I started seeing her almost 2 years ago when my hair was so unhealthy and rough. She spent 7 hours just fixing my hair and every time I go back to see her it’s healthier and healthier. She listens to what I want and make sure that I leave satisfied! She is also great with conversation and is very laid back. She puts so much effort and focus into my hair I couldn’t ask for anything more. Being someone who is very picky about my hair I have grown to trust her and let her do her thing because so far it has not failed! She helped me to take better care of my hair and is always great with answering my questions. She explains what she is doing and why and how it helps my hair so I leave with that knowledge too! I love her!!! The blond is where we started and all of the others are colors we have tried out before finally deciding on my permanent color! She is also the only person to get curls to stay in my pin straight hair!

Puff Cheese My go-to hair salon for haircuts! Tried out another place once but immediately returned to Eve hair salon because I got way more stylish haircuts from this place. Prices are pretty standard for the area, not too expensive

Vivy Hua I’ve been going to My since 2016 and her and her team have always executed my hair goals with every single visit, while also being realistic about it would take based on whatever my hair was currently like going into each visit. I’ve done everything on the spectrum when it comes to hair goals, from doing fun colors to subtle balayages. My and her team will also go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable with drinks (and occasionally snacks) whenever you visit them!

Sharon Lam My and her team are fantastic! Ive been going to My and her team since 2023, so Im newer to Mys salon, but her and her team treat you like youve been going there forever. My hair always looks amazing afterwards, and with the right care, it stays looking amazing. Shes done fun colors and more neutral colors. She is very caring and will always brighten your day! Also, her interior design skills are amazing as well so you walk into a beautiful salon. My most recent color adventure was back to the darker side with an ashy earl gray look. Moon Choe Best Iron Perm Experience! Whenever I visit Korea, I always get an Iron Perm because my silky hair tends to lack volume. The results there are always amazing. A few years ago, I tried getting it done in Silicon Valley, but unfortunately, the stylist burned some of my hair, so I never tried it here again. Recently, I discovered that Ga-In Salon, where I regularly get my haircuts, also offers Iron Perms. I decided to give it a try, and Im so glad I did! The stylist did an excellent job (check out the results in the picture), and even gave me a complimentary collagen treatment. If you’re visiting Ga-In Salon, I recommend bringing a few photos (front, side, back) of the hairstyle you want. The stylist is really skilled and will work her magic to achieve the look you’re going for!

Vincent Trinh Ga-In is the kindest hair stylist that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. She was willing to book an appointment for me 30 minutes before her usual opening time during the busy weekend before New Years. I showed up almost an hour late. She was still happy to work me into her schedule where she could. I was able to get my hair cut within 30 minutes of waiting. Ga-In quickly understood what I wanted based on the photo I showed her (a two block), and did a fantastic job. This was my first visit to Ga-In Beauty Salon -- and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend Ga-In if you are looking for a fantastic Korean hair stylist. Great skill, personality, and understanding. Very clean salon.

Cathy Lee This review is very overdue. A year or so ago, Grace gave me the best haircut and digital perm that I’ve ever had in my life. It was exactly what I asked for- as short as possible but still being long enough to tie. My hair felt incredibly light but was full of body and made me feel beautiful, yet it was easy to manage and never got tangled. She turned down other hair appointments, so she could just focus off my hair since I was asking for both a haircut and digital perm, which was very time and labor-intensive. My husband loved my new hair style too. Despite not trimming it for a year, I’m still very happy with it and how it has been growing out and looks with the digital perm. This picture is of the back of my hair about two months after my cut and perm. I’ve never looked at a picture of the back of my own hair and been so pleased with it! Thank you, Grace!

Thomas K Ive been coming here for 9+ years and I have to say that the owner is amazing when it comes to cutting my type of hair which is very straight, a typical Asian male hair. I have a very specific style which she is able to make every time for this long which is the amazing part. She has a degree and training to cut, style, color, etc. hair which is also a plus. Price is also on the higher end, but compared to the Bay area, its considered average. She is popular and I recommend calling ahead of time to set an appointment, especially on the weekends. She is also off Sundays and Mondays.

Diana Ponce Luis is the man, for basic fades and tappers. His swag is Unique. Humble since day 1. Go check him out. I met him through a friend that I once accompanied to get a cut. 20yrs later, Luis still Cuts my hair, my kids, bro, ect. Make sure you catch him at early hrs, so you wont have to wait 4 -5 cuts ahead of you in the afternoon. Yeee!

Augustino Gamboa Honestly, Im surprised this place dosent have higher ratings. Luis is truly a master of his craft. I didnt have to do much explaining, as far as the style I was going for. It was like he already knew instantly what I wanted and nailed it on the first go around. Overall, this place is extremely affordable, for the quality and service your getting. Plus its COVID compliant. Mind you, he only accepts cash, so make sure to stop by a bank or ATM before you go.

Nikki L A cute salon, I had my haircut here 3 times. The quality is on par with how much you paid. Receptionist was helpful and nice. My stylist is good but can be better on communicating :) I took one star off - I found (2 times) my neighboring customers were very pretentious. Not the vibe that I wanna be around for my almost one hour haircut. If the haircut stations aren’t that close together, it would have been better? Anyways, a spacious salon! Michelle Tisor I had gone to this salon a few times with the previous owners and although the staff was very pleasant, the salon itself was very dark, kind of dingy and honestly they didnt rotate their product every time I came in. It was the same four product sitting on the shelf, the same two purses and the same four bracelets. Nothing was ever rotated or changed out. Nothing ever went on sale so Im excited to see what the new owners are going to do. Im looking forward to going out and getting my hair done

Hilary Perez The new owners increased the rent by $100 upon take over of this salon. These tenants struggled to keep up rent to retain their spaces with no unemployment benefits. There was no regard for how they would/could make a living with no choice but to leave the salon. Supporting a business which places no value for the welfare of people during these times does not deserve support themselves.

You know its a good haircut when you cant stop running your fingers through it and you love catching your reflection that day! I got a much shorter cut this time and I feel so freeeee! Side note, some days I feel a little introverted or just low key but its not an issue because shes super nice and calm and it doesnt feel like we have to talk every single second which would make me anxious. I also have scalp issues about which I can feel a little self-conscious but I feel comfortable with her. Its just a relaxed experience! Although Atelier posts their prices online, the price can change depending on what level of expertise you are comfortable with and who you select. For example, someone who has 3 years experience, the $230 cost for partial highlights, toner and haircut is most likely $250. I was fortunate to have the stylist, Estela, who charges $250 for these services, and I came away very pleased with her work. I let her know I wanted baby strips of highlights, that I may need toner and to cut my out-of-shape style in long layers. My highlights turned out beautifully, my hair shines from the toner and my haircut was done perfectly!

Once, I was tempted to cut my hair much shorter, but she gently talked me out of it, and I’ve never regretted it. When I told her I was pregnant, she immediately started planning long-term for my hair, adjusting the color and style to require less frequent appointments—perfect for a new mom’s busy lifestyle. David Anthony They took us at the last minute, which TOTALLY saved the day. We were scheduled somewhere else, and we got canceled at the last minute. This was more of a memorable event, since it was my 4 year old daughters first haircut. We all LOVED her haircut, and Kylie our daughter LOVED it as well. Excelente customer service, and really nice stylist. Maryann went out of her way to make it a memorable event for my daughter and family. We will most definitely come back here, and definitely recommend this salon. They did an amazing overall job.

Azadeh Ghasemi I had a keratin treatment and haircut at this salon a couple of weeks ago. I have this treatment a couple of times every year so I have a lot of experience with that. I did not wash my hair for a couple of days afterwards and have been applying only Lanza keratin shampoo and conditioner. To be honest, the stylist spent a lot of time on my hair but after only 2 weeks, my hair has started to get frizzy again. It was the most expensive keratin treatment I have ever had but I am not satisfied at all with the results. I do not recommend this salon for keratin treatment.

Shilpi Sneha Great place, amazing stylist, BUT this is the second time I got charged for no show (full amount of the session! $$$$) because of notification text message of upcoming appointment not being delivered to me. Apparently it’s through 3 rd party and they cannot track if or why it was not delivered. In this day and age this is a kind of experience I can’t think of putting up with. Hard pass!

Sarah Romero I love this place for both my hair and nails. My nails have never been stronger or lasted longer than when I get them done here and all the ladys are sweet and nice. I also love getting my hair cut here. There is never a wait and you cannot beat the price. I get my hair layered and it has always been done perfectly. The place is run down a bit, needs some work, a refresher.. and the nail polish selection is very limited and not up to par with other salons who use newer methods like Dip and such. I tried calling twice but always got the voicemail - I found it easier in the end to message the owner on Instagram and she responded quickly and got me set up with an appointment with someone the next day. When I got there (weekday afternoon), the salon was empty, so it was like a nice private haircut with my hairdresser - nice for COVID times where you hope theres less people around! The salon is nice and clean, and uses high quality products. Ive been coming several times with different hairdressers and have always had a positive experience! Payment can be done by credit card, and you can tip via Venmo which is convenient given many people dont carry cash anymore.

S A Not what they used to be. The quality of products they use has severely gone down. I got a hair color and within couple of days it’s dull and my hair so dry. Complete waste of money and my hair will take time to recover now. I have gone to them in the past, before COVID and it used to be better. I’m sad and disappointed.

Amanda Pate I’ve only been there once because the appointment I scheduled for today wasn’t put in. The one time I went I really like the stylist and the absolute only thing I can complain about with her is I had ONE area that was cut straight across when I wanted it all blended. Otherwise she was great. I booked an appointment for a keratin treatment and cut but I guess the young lady put it on a different date. So I walked all the way up there and sat waiting to find out I didn’t have an appointment. Kinda embarrassing but hey whatever. Just when you make an appointment ensure it is put on the books.

Jennifer and her team are wonderful and so accommodating and sweet…She does a fabulous job on my two-color hair process and always styles it just the way I like it. I have had all of her other services and have enjoyed them all. If you’re looking for a confident colorist, stylist and a good place for mani/pedi’s and facials at reasonable rates, you must try JW Hair and Nails!!

Angela Torres Called ahead to ask if there was any availability for a dip/SNS removal, and she said I could come in right now but she was busy later that day. I went in and was convinced to get a manicure instead of just the removal, which would’ve been $20. The manicure was probably one of the most attentive to detail I’ve ever had. My nails feel clean and healthy, and the owner was very friendly and talkative. She gave me recommendations nearby and was great to talk to. I would recommend coming in on a day where you have time to spare because the attention to detail does not make a rushed service!

Angiee M JW Hair & Nails is an amazing place to go to if you want great customer service, hair care, and a beautiful full nail set by Amy, who I’ve gone to exclusively since finding her. I stumbled upon this place when I needed a quick set of nails and got the best quality nails I’ve ever had. The nail sets I get here have never broken off, they surprisingly don’t get caught in my hair after growing out (which usually is super inconvenient), and for the price it’s a great deal! I’ve received a ton of compliments every time I get my nails here. They accept same day appointments and will even take you earlier if their schedule frees up ahead of time! I’ve gotten a hair trim as well which turned out exactly how I wanted it done. Jenny and all the ladies are always so welcoming & accommodating. I highly recommend this hair & nail salon. I’ll definitely continue coming here! Truly a Santa Clara gem. ❤️✨

Mamatha Shankar This is my go to place for haircut. Jenni does everything with lot of patience and has attention to details. She is also very flexible with the schedule.
