thewoodshop 11 Eduardo is a true artist and a wonderful guy, his paintings are awesome too look at while he gives you a fresh cut! If you need a haircut or just want to look around his shop at the beautiful art work its cozy atmosphere and Eduardos great personality will leave you on a high note, its a gem to have in Petaluma

Norma Jean Eduardo is a gifted hair stylist and artist. He is very friendly and has good tips that makes one look good! I also enjoyed looking at his artwork.

Tom Litchfield Eduardo is a great artist who uses his talent to cut hair. Exceeds my expectations every time. I totally trust his ideas and suggestions.

Paul Borloz Very skilled and super friendly. Our whole family has been having Eduardo take care of our hair for years (10+?).

Tracie M Monica has been styling my hair for over 10 years. My hair always looks great. For years I’ve been covering my gray. I recently decided to let it grow out. I was dreading that process. Sarahi Alvarez I have gone to Aliena Aguilar a few times now. She gave me a split dye that I wanted. I also went to her again afterwards because I wanted purple blue hair. I have very long hair so it was a project both times! Aliena walked me through all the options in order to maintain the health and length of my hair. Although she suggested many options she made sure that I was happy with the end results of my hair. Aliena is very professional and she made the long hours fun and comfortable. I’m glad I found someone who works with me in achieving something I love while also caring for my hair so that it maintains it’s health and strength! I recommend Aliena for you coloring needs and will continue to go to her for more fun projects in the future!

lauren wagner Absolutely love Frow Salon! Everyone that works here is so kind, such a great positive vibe there. Jessica has been doing my nails for a couple years now I think and she is seriously the best, love days where I get to spend time with her. Her work is incredible and she’s always so amazing when I go in with absolutely no idea what I want and leave with the cutest nails, I always get so many compliments. I have been seeing Olivia for almost a year now for all my eye brown needs! I was not someone blessed with good brows but Olivia has changed all that with her epic waxing and brow tinting skills. Her waxing room is so calming, has the best music and she is just the sweetest! I always leave our appoints feeling so good about myself!

CC Curley Could not be happier with my experience! Mila and Kristy are phenomenal at their work. Exceptional service and I was blown away with the results after my haircut, she managed to keep almost all the length but give me a ton of shape and restore so much health in my hair. Also, the vibe at the Pine is such a perfect balance between lux and down to earth, its both hip and comfortable. 10/10 I never want to get my hair cut anywhere else!

Kelly LaMarco I love Kristy’s work so much that I followed her from her previous salon to The Pine. I love the way she does my highlights & base color. The color looks natural and is the blonde color I want (and have searched for). My hair never has any strawberry blonde or reddish color and is never brassy. She also uses a magical technique that makes the highlights look pretty and natural even while they are growing out.

Alex Krisel This is, by far, the best experience I have had at a hair salon. Mila was awesome. She was mindful and present with me the whole appointment. She took her time to show me how to style my own hair at home after my hair cut. My hair turned out just as I had imagined. Feels “lived-in” so I don’t feel like I have to wait a couple of weeks for it to grow out into what I want. Thanks so much, Mila! Keep doing what you’re doing! ❤️

S P I had to start seeing a new stylist because mine left, the salon recommended Mila. I have super thin damaged hair from a previous hairdresser (not from the Pine) and Mila took the time to listen to my concerns, explain her process and ensure that my hair wouldn’t undergo much more damage than it needed to get me to the color I wanted. I also shared I wanted to grow out my hair and she said she would help me get there. I was extremely pleased by her candor and work esthetic. I scheduled an appointment two months in advance which I never do. Highly recommend Mila and The Pine Salon.

Melissa Caminiti I love this place! Beautiful decor and relaxing environment, but more importantly these ladies will give you amazing hair!!! I go to Barb who is the owner--she gives the PERFECT balayage and cut. You are getting City style and edge without getting overcharged. Its clear everyone in the salon wants to work there and respects each other immensely. I say this because it really made a difference with my experience. ALSO: they carry R&Co and Oribe products which are some of my favorites. Overall I have a love-fest going on with this place and you will too.

Emily Lauran is the best! I’ve been going to her monthly for almost a year, and she consistently delivers stunning results. Her warm and friendly personality makes every visit enjoyable, and her expertise in hair color and cutting is unmatched. Lauran always listens carefully to my ideas and offers expert advice. Shes incredibly attentive to detail, ensuring every strand is perfect. Her gentle touch and caring nature make the entire experience relaxing and luxurious. Ive tried various styles and colors, and each time, Lauran has exceeded my expectations. My hair always looks healthy, vibrant, and effortlessly stylish. I can’t recommend Lauran enough!

Andrea R I first went to Lauran about half a year ago and she has cut and colored my hair three times now. I went to Lauren after reading positive reviews here. She has exceeded all of my expectations and even the best reviews that I read.! I went to her the first time because I was having a terrible experience with my previous stylist who I started to see after I moved here from another state. My previous stylist did not listen to me, care about my concerns about my hair, and was generally impatient and dismissive. All of the opposite things are true of Lauran. She is kind, caring and patient and I feel like she is listening to me with her whole being. Also, she is extremely skilled as a colorist and stylist and each time she has done my hair it keeps getting better and better and closer to the ideal that I have in my head that she can somehow actualize. I dont know how she does that but I really appreciate it. It is just such a nice feeling to feel cared about and to feel like you are in good hands that happen to be skilled and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend Lauran enough! She will make you feel like a million dollars.

Every time she has done my hair the color has been gorgeous. Ive tried lots of different things looking for the perfect color as my hair changes, and her choices have always left me looking my best!

David Smith Loved my experience with Lauran. Lauran is SO welcoming, and listened to what I wanted. Ive seen Lauran for almost a year, and she absolutely transformed my hair! Suzette Beloberk Recently starting coming to Lauran. I was very nervous because I have long and very curly hair. In the past Ive experienced hairstylist either chop my hair or hardly cut anything off. Lauran was so welcoming and made me feel really comfortable. Steven At Dukes and Dolls, everyone is so kind. The offer you water coffee if you are early or having a hair treatment. They make you feel right at home. Ive been coming there for about 2 years, maybe a little longer. I was really happy to find such a great place and my stylist is amazing as well as the rest of the staff there. ❤️ Would recommend going and making an appointment.

Ruby Tamariz Angelina gave me a lovely blowout for my wedding, as well as provided great updos and styles for the other ladies in my bridal party. I planned my wedding from afar, and she was easy to communicate with starting from my initial inquiry. She offered great advice on how to achieve the look I was going for and was overall a sweetheart to work with. Very reasonable prices for the trial hairstyle and on-site services the day-of. Cecilia Valdovinos Angelina is the best, and amazing at what she does. I always leave so happy when she cuts my hair! She gives great recommendations when I am unsure about what I want, and makes me feel comfortable in her presence. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Amanda Lane I have been going to Ashley for almost 10 years for all my hair care needs. She always delivers and I completely trust her opinions and work. She is also very honest and will let you know if a certain color may not work or that the results you may want won’t happen with a one time service or at all. It’s clear to me that Ashley knows what she’s doing and talking about when it comes to hair and is also very efficient with time. I highly recommend her!

Ross Sigworth I contacted the shop to ask about creative hair color and they connected me with Amelia who was able to quickly help me decide on the vibrant multi types of green colors. Shop had a great vibe and was nice to spend time in it. Amelia was kind and polite, and really made me feel at ease during the entire bleaching and coloring process. She checked in with me frequently while both the bleach and color was processing and was absolute professional. Amelia did an absolutely stunning job on my hair color and I have received numerous complements on the color. I will be going back to the Amelia for any future color work and hair cuts for certain!

Isabella Welsh I got my hair cut and colored by Sabrina and she did an awesome job!!! It’s the best cut/coloring I’ve ever had! She was able to work with both of our visions and it turned out great! Very happy with the result. Also have been going to Ina for waxing for a couple years now and she also does the best job! ann gors This is a lovely salon. Great location downtown. My stylist, Ashlee, does amazing work. Color is always spot on. I also love her cuts, whether is a style change or just a trim, comes out looking great. Ashlee is also super flexible and willing to work with you on setting appointments that work with a busy schedule. Highly recommend Ashlee and the Fox and the Hair!

Debora Holleman The salon has a great playroom for kids while they wait and when it is their turn, they are given a small basket full of toys to play during their hair cut. My son is very very shy, but he feels so comfortable around Dina and Chris. They talk to him, ask him about his weekend, school, favorite things and 15 minutes later my son has a perfect haircut. There is a kids’ hair salon where I live, which I’ve tried and didn’t like, so I’m happy to drive to Petaluma for my son’s hair cut. I highly recommend it! Chris and Dina, keep up the good work! You are true treasures, I feel so lucky to have access to such warm, loving and talented professionals like yourselves!

My previous, long-time, hairdresser in San Francisco moved to a "too distant location." My sister was visiting from Hawaii and came home one day with a new haircut/color. Someone had recommended that she go to see Denise at Salon Coiffe Maman. It looked GREAT! I scheduled an appointment and have been Denises client since. I always get compliments on both my cut and color. Denise is also a wonderful person. I give her the maximum number of stars!

Jamie Charles I began going to Angie about 8 years ago, when I was seeking a balayage and color expert. She is an absolute pro! At every appointment she takes the time to explain what service she will be performing, while also suggesting helpful options. I have always left her salon feeling incredible and very satisfied. Over the last (almost) decade I have referred SO many clients to her and she has treated them wonderfully. Angie is the best at what she does!

Kelci Bartee Angie is the BEST! I have never had hair extensions before and now Im obsessed. After canceling our big wedding due to Covid, we planned an adventure elopement in the forest. This was going to be just the two of us, so this meant I was going to need to do my own hair and makeup. I was terrified. But I figured, if I had hair extensions I could confidently style my own hair beautifully. I was referred to Angie after my originally booked salon closed down due to Covid and would not respond to me. This was a blessing in disguise because Angie was immediately responsive and squeezed me into her full schedule. Her salon is adorable and impeccably clean. She was far more knowledgeable on the extensions process and dos & donts. The photos below show my before & after hair and my self styled hair on the day of my wedding. Thanks to Angie I felt like a princess on my wedding day. My family and friends didnt believe that it wasnt my own hair. The color matched perfectly and Angie installed them perfectly to blend into my scalp. Their jaws dropped. I recently had the extensions removed. Angie was gentle with removing the tape and not breaking my hair. Im so grateful my hair still feels full and healthy after having used the extensions. Im so excited for my second round of use with the extensions. I have already scheduled my appointment. Angie is now my go to hair stylist. She genuinely cares about the health of your hair and wants to make you look beautiful. HIRE ANGIE NOW!

Jessica Cerami 10/10 would recommend. We brought our 18 month son here for his second hair cut (we took him to the “other” kid cutting place in town for his first and they butchered his hair) and we’re so impressed by the level of service and experience! Our son sat still for the entire cut and didn’t fuss once thanks to the amazing set up. The seats are all play cars and they have TV shows to distract the kids while they’re getting a haircut. Worked like a charm! The hostess was also great at blowing bubbles and helping to entertain him towards the end when he started getting squirmy. His cut is so cute and we’ll definitely be back again!
