Jenny Garcia Moved to Pasadena two years ago, and after having the same nail technician for 20 years, finding my new go-to was a challenge. I went through countless nail salons in the area, but within 20 minutes of my first appointment with Nikki, I knew she was the one! She’s incredibly talented, pays close attention to detail, and actually listens to all of my personal requests—something that’s hard to find. On top of that, she’s super kind and funny, which makes every appointment enjoyable. I’ve been loyal to her ever since, and as long as I’m in Pasadena, she’s the only person I’ll trust with my nails. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and makes the whole experience great, Nikki is it!

Lindsey Ingram I will never go to this salon again. I had been going for a couple months and had a good experience, but the most recent time I went they were dishonest about their prices and way overcharged me for the service. I made an appointment a day in advance and requested a dip manicure. On their pricing menu in their salon, it says that a dip manicure is $28. When the lady finished my nails, I went to pay and was told that my bill was $48. When I pointed out that their menu said the service was $28 the lady gave me some flimsy explanation that dip powder and dip manicure as are different things. Regardless, I specifically requested a dip manicure so I should not have been up-charged for a service that I didnt receive. They dipped my nail twice and then put a coat of gel on top. If a gel manicure there is regularly $30 then there is no reason that two dips of powder and gel on top should be $48. If you value doing business with people that show integrity then I would strongly discourage you from going here.

Connie Freeman I live in the neighborhood and past by this place all of time while walking. I was looking to treat myself to a pedicure and manicure and thought of them. When I noticed they now do massages I was excited!! Why? Because I was on the hunt for a massage right after. I had just completed a 30 day walk challenge and was in need of EVERYTHING! I got a massage first by Wendy and it was GREAT!!! After I was done, I got a pedicure and manicure. Both nail techs did a great job as well. Very professional and clean environment. I’ll definitely be back!

Team LP I am loyal to Bonsoir Nails because I have been going to them for about 18 years and Tina and Susan are the ONLY people I trust with my eyebrows. They have downsized and moved locations, but I still get the same comfy massage chair and attentive, careful service. They take pride in their work and will go to great lengths to make sure you are happy.

Lila Unfriendly service!! Three of us went to get basic manis and try the place out. Two of us ended up upgrading to gel manis because they “normally only do designs for gel mani.” So ok fine - we went along with it. My sister, who stuck with the basic mani was done with her “manicure” in less than 20 min. The polish was put on sloppily and the color was so thin on her nail you can see right through. Not at all worth going in for a rushed, sloppy manicure - the technician rushed through her service then when and layed on a pedicure chair to browse on her phone for the rest of the time we were there. We noticed they had clients waiting outside for a mani and she didn’t even bother letting them know she was free - she just layed on the chair and watched stuff on her phone; ignored those people. My friend simply asked if her technician had “put alcohol on both hands” and her technician snapped at her - giving her a ridiculous attitude for asking a question. She then proceeded to lean into the technician next to her and say things in their language. She leaned in to say things in their language pretty much any time my friend talked or asked something (and she was asking politely mind you). It was obvious she was talking about her. My nails turned out mediocre - with messy uneven polish on the sides and bottom of my nails. We left feeling jipped out of our money. It was supposed to be a fun day out with the girlies trying to find a new nail spot we might want to start frequenting. But there is NO WAY I want to come back here. The only aspect of this visit I liked is the plaza where the salon is located which is a cute alcove with chain lights above. The store fronts are pretty with a European architectural feel. Seriously don’t come here and waste your hard-heard money. This place is a disgrace.

Savannah Holmes The staff at Nailbox we’re super accommodating and lovely people. Their nail art was gorgeous and just what we requested (even in normal lacquer nail polish). They made my party feel welcome and gave us a lot of time. Thanks so much, will definitely revisit!

Renee Wang Would give 6 stars if possible - they did an incredible job making an idea I had come to life, and spent so much time and effort to get the details right! They will work with you to get the design you want.

Lusine The place is filled with inexperienced "nail technicians" that have no idea what they are doing. Owner has a big attitude problem, as well. Went to get hard gel removed. Not only did they burn my skin by applying a ton of acetone every 5 minutes, but they didnt even take it all off. I also got cut. Avoid coming here. So not worth it, AT ALL. *UPDATE* In response to the rude business owner, I have eczema. You guys initially wanted to put both of my hands in a plastic bag filled with acetone and wrap it in a hot towel. Why would you soak my skin in acetone in the first place? I came for hard gel removal not my skin to be burnt off. Your employee kept sticking my fingers in acetone for over a whole hour, as well. Barely any drilling done which is the most important part of removing hard gel. Take the energy with that attitude of yours and put that in training your employees to do their jobs correctly. Worst salon by far in Pasadena. Maybe even California at that. Also, here are some “lovely” images of what the result was for my “gel removal” - horrible job. Thanks for making me bleed as well.

marcia kostos This business was recently sold. Used to be TK Nails. Tammy was the owner and it was a great salon. Been going there for 25 years. Now has new owner and I won’t go back. English is definitely second language. Had a mani pedi. I was told my bill was $48, I paid, and as I’m walking out the door all the gals are yelling stop…wait…. Then told I owed $10 more dollars. I didn’t bother questioning it as no one would comprehend anyway, so I just paid the extra. Not worth the effort to me.although super convenient, I’ll find somewhere else. The whole salon just isn’t up to par with the former establishment in my opinion.

Pamela Huley The nail tech cleans under the toe nails and wipes the crud from the tool on your surrounding skin…Ugh! And didn’t acknowledge the price differences posted on website and charged higher on a postcard in the salon. Good polish skills though.

Lisowski Liz I could never say enough good things about Summer Beauty, Summer the owner, and my lash tech Lucky. I have been going to Summer beauty for a while. This was after trying 5 different lash places in Pasadena. I have also received other services like a manicure and pedicure from one of the nail techs. From the very beginning Summer has treated me like a family member. Everyone in the salon is welcoming and is very communicative. I currently work as a chef for some of the top restaurants and catering events in LA. I can’t put on mascara because the heat of the stove will melt it away. I also get photographed constantly. Lucky- my lash tech makes me look beautiful while still being able to work hard in the kitchen. One time I even burned my eyelashes off and Summer got me in to have them fixed the very next day. The reason why I went to Summer was because I was experiencing irritation, inconsistent results, and sometimes over the top work at all the other places I went to. This place listens to you. Also- my optometrist said that I had some of the cleanest lashes she’s ever seen and she doesn’t usually condone false eye lashes but mine are the exception. Honestly- I can’t even tell they are there. I don’t trust anyone to do my lashes at this point except Lucky. Summer is also always telling me about new products and was so willing to do my rainbow lashes for my burning man 10 year wedding vow renewal. Lastly- the massages at the end of service are everything- especially for a chef on her feet 10 plus hours a day! Don’t hesitate- Give Summer Beauty a call!

Allison Saviano Im just about at my 1 year anniversary with Summer Beauty - so Im pretty positive that I love them! I had originally planned on lash extensions only for a "special occasion" – but they do such a great job (thank you Helen!) and are so gentle with my lashes that I just keep coming back. I was initially nervous about stressing out my "natural" lashes... but no worries at all, my own lashes are still in great shape. I just feel more fabulous with my lashes from Summer! They know what theyre doing and they stand behind their work. Thank you!

Ana Cristina Aristizabal Cano I went in to do my nails, I had gel and wanted a simple regular manicure. The service was outstanding, people there were all so kind and they did a great job with manicure and pedicure. The place is super clean, nice relaxing music, and they have great parking options - so easy. I used their restroom and it was super clean. Very nice place, Ill definitely continue to go. They are open Monday-Sunday, they only close on Tuesdays.

Athena Garcia-Gunn This shop is adorable! It’s brand new. Everything inside is new. The paint, the chairs, the stations, the products. It’s all chic, and simple and classic. The ladies here have been so sweet, so ready to jump in and take on a challenge. They also have a reward system that gives you a birthday discount and points. Highly recommend! It’s the kind of place that I expect will get very popular soon. I have dropped by twice, both times I was asked if I had an appointment. I think they prefer appointments! But they still took me in and helped me quickly. They also offered me water, and a beverage. They are very hospitable and talented.

Denise McKnight I was greeted warmly. Offered cold water. The service was fast and completed with neatness. The technician was polite and friendly. I can not wait to return. She kept the shape of my natural nail. She did not try to pressure me to get more expensive services. And the shop was not overcrowded and did not feel like a farm. The salon was so clean and smelled like a spa, similar to an experience I had in Palm Desert.

Devon Myers This place is fantastic! It’s clean, spacious, and well organized. More importantly, I got the best pedicure - by Chi. And Ann did a beautiful job on my nails. I don’t live close but may have to drive to come here - they are really excellent.

GG Sauvage Henry and Hana were amazing! They have impeccable attention to detail and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Great energy, great work, and great prices :) I also love that they open early! I will be back for sure. (I had gel removal on nails and toes, builder gel on nails, get mani & pedi, plus French tip design on nails and all of that was only $95!)

Jazzmine Lind The service and people were great. However, my manicure and pedicure with gel nails did not come out clean. The gel polish has bubbles and the nails are all different lengths. The acrylic came all the way up over some of my cuticles and I paid $61 bucks. I wont go back but they treated me very well. These are 4 days old.

Miriam Nunez-Dominguez I loved my experience here the person who did my nails was very friendly and patient. The wait was very short and there was a good variety of colors to choose from. My acrylics came out exactly like I wanted them to and i will definitely return in the future.

Jayda Lobban check out Alice if you want great work for a fair price! She takes her time, so be prepared to be in the chair for over an hour. Personally I don’t mind because she’s thorough and a perfectionist. These are my natural nails with hard gel overlay. Cleanest hard gel application I’ve ever had done. I asked for Russian manicure and my cuticles have never looked better. She uses good quality polishes, she’s sweet and takes pride in her work. I’m so happy I found her!

Tanika de Souza I took my husband today to get his first mani pedi EVER! They did an excellent job. He was comfortable and that says a lot. They do serve beverages during your service which was nice. He had the Deluxe package and enjoyed the scrubs and stones. We dont live in this area, but if we did I would return. He did not get any polish, but another lady was getting her nails done and they looked great.

Debbie Gonzalez Love Pink Nails! Ive been going here since the place opened, I bring my daughter as well. Ive gone to a few other places in between for convenience, but they never do as good a job. I get different technicians every time I come, but theyve always been excellent. The owners are very sweet and hard working. I adore this place!

Kathleen V Quality service at Pink Nails every time. They keep up with all the new nail trends and designs. My nails still look great and receive compliments 4 weeks after I get them done. They never lift or pop off. The prices are fair and they dont add extra fees for things like filing your nails to a shorter length. Pink Nails is the only place I will go for my nails =)

Christal Lee My first visit to another nail shop didn’t go as well as I hoped, but this shop was lovely. I felt more confident in asking for what I wanted and the tech executed the design to the best of their abilities. I am very happy with what I received and now will make a budget for getting nails done from now on ☺️

Mel Natian I had an amazing experience at DJ Nails! The salon is clean and relaxing, and Ashley is absolutely the best. She is professional, friendly, and gave me the perfect gel extension set. Kyra Folk-Farber As always, got a beautiful hot gel manicure on Saturday, with the same tips I got at DJ Nails 2 weeks ago. It’s exactly what I wanted and I know it will last weeks. Yen did my last two manis, but everyone I’ve worked with at DJ nails has been excellent.

Jouslynn Technicians seemed nice. Good massage. Zero waste time. Service was rushed. I had to ask twice to remove the old polish- they never removed it all! They added acetone to the polish so it was dull and chipped the next day. The shop is a little ran down and dingy.

Brendali Maldonado I just got my acrylic nails done here. Pros...I love my nails! Also, they have Netflix so I caught 2 episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee haha. Cons...she cut me 3 times. I didnt catch her name. She was very nice and super sweet. She even gave my daughter some gummy candies, but she was a bit rough. :(

Ivaylo Ivanov Copycats, had a booking at the real one as I used them in London and Dubai. My taxi took me to this place opposed to 235 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, where the REAL Nail’d it salon is - the most shocking bit was they were all too happy to steal me as a customer even I specifically stated that this is NOT the salon I intended to visit. Surely the owner company of the brand should sue this people for using the brand, even pictures and the name!!!

F C KIM was so meticulous/professional (She takes much care in her craft)and spent more than 2 hours on my nails and toes just clipping. (No mani/pedi for 5+ years) first time client with her and she was her own phenom. Gina the owner is also very charismatic as well as 35+ years of experience. Caring environment, quaint similar to Solvang, CA.

Jennie Marie This is an adorable boutique nail salon. Just Gina and Kim. We went for my friends 50th bday and they were delightful. We got tipsy of the white wine they served, but we gabbed like we were all friends. Kim did my SNS dipping nails, hands down best dipping nails I have had. Kim made them so light and thin, most salons have them to thick it looks like acrylic and I dont want that look.

Amanda Tran I’ve been going to Angel Baby for a year now, and I can honestly say it’s the best nail salon in Los Angeles. I have high standards for nail care, and Angel Baby consistently exceeds my expectations. Chloe is my go-to for nails, but I’ve had different people for my pedicures, and everyone here is amazing. The salon is always clean and tidy, which adds to the relaxing and inviting atmosphere. They’re incredibly attentive to detail, super gentle, and delicate with my nails, making sure I’m always comfortable. Mia Tralongo I’ve been coming here for a while now, and each visit impresses me even more. Jasmine is truly an artist—I completely trust her expertise. I always get the gel builder, and my nails last over four weeks until my next fill. On top of that, Y2K is incredibly convenient, with easy parking, a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and fair prices. Couldn’t be happier!

Taylor Smith This is my 3rd time here and have had the best service each time. The nail technicians are super friendly and welcoming. I got a builder gel mani w/ paraffin and small decal and a gel pedi with a callus removal. Service was great and I am so happy with my nails! I’ve had gel in the past and they would last the full 2 weeks..they’d chip at the 1 week marks after getting the builder gel ( or I think it might be called gel overlay) my nails have NOT CHIPPED!

Gracie Parker Jasmine did my nails for a manicure and did a fantastic job!! She is so sweet and super careful to make sure there are no gaps in my dip nails and everything is even. Super gentle with the drill, and variety of payment options! My nails look amazing! The place is decorated very cutely and is clean!
