melanie troxler I’m new to the area ,it was My first time at this nail salon, I came in for a new set and a gel pedicure. Worst experience ever! First, during my pedicure I was not asked if I preferred my toenails trim cut or filed the guy completely cut all my toenails down to the skin & was completely uneven. Being an everyday sandal wearer, I prefer them long. Secondly another nail technician comes to the pedicure station and started removing my old Acrylic set by a nail clipper& she started cutting the nails very rapidly when she got to my index finger she went down to the skin when I said ouch she kept going and cut me til I started bleeding. I yelled please Stop Im Bleeding! please get the antiseptic she put the solution on my finger it burned terribly ,and all she said was sorry. After my pedicure was finished, I went to the nail station and another lady Tina started to finish the removal of the nails and at this point, I’m so seriously in pain that I decided to not get the full set that I intended on getting but asked for a gel manicure instead. Finally, when my services were done The woman Tina ,charged me $101 for the service and by this time , Im super shocked because she knows that I’m not happy with my experience, and when I paid the money that she charged me, she then had the nerve to ask me for a tip! I will never go back to this shop I will always tell everybody I know to never go to this place they are insensitive awful people.

Ana Espinoza I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, worst customer service, they wanted to charge $10 dollars for one nail after they did a horrible job a week ago, where they cut all my real nails in the inside for not taking care they were real, after I complain they explain that “real nails always must be damaged when they applied acrylic” I’m not coming back and ladies there are better places. They are really mean and keep talking in they language so we don’t tell what they are saying. Skip this spot.

Taryn Edwards i never write reviews, but sb nail bar has got to be the best nail salon in all of santa barbara. i couldn’t believe how much attention ellie payed to the details in the reference pic. she genuinely tried to capture exactly what i wanted and did an even better job. i couldn’t believe how good she did, like i genuinely don’t know how she did the French tip perfectly with not a line out of place. when she made a mistake she was so quick to clean it up. which her version of a mistake i didn’t even notice. i don’t usually get my nails done because it’s just not practical for me and they never come out how i want them. but this is making me want to go regularly. got got the gel x extension and just showed them a pic on pinterest

Vanessa Allen I arrived right on time for my appointment and was sat right away but still ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a nail tech to become available. The chairs are a little hard and the foot rests don’t have any padding so half way through my pedicure my arches were sore from resting against the hard surface while the tech worked on my feet. This was my first time at this salon so I opted for the basic $35 gel pedicure. I booked my service online a few days before my appointment and upon arrival I reiterated to the receptionist that I was there for a basic pedicure. The service is listed as a dry pedi with cuticle clean up, nail shaping and polish. Very basic but it’s all I really needed and I wasn’t prepared to spend more at a place I’d never been to before. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the the pedicure I chose did, in fact, include a soak, callous removal and light leg massage. The pedicure was completed meticulously albeit a little rough. The tech burned me with the drill a couple times while removing my previous gel polish. She apologized and was more careful. For $35 my nails came out immaculate. The chairs hurt, the foot rests leave a lot to be desired but for the price the quality of the pedicure is incredible. I would go back again for sure.

Charuwan Pichardo I wanted to get acrylic done, but Lily thought that I couldnt afford it. I believed the way dress up and asked about the price. She resisted that I should do gel nail because its less expensive. She shouldnt assume and discrimination the way people ask questions or dress up. I couldnt pay I wouldnt go there to ask the first place!!

Suzanne LHeureux I had such a sweet experience here the other night. They did a great job on my nails and toes and gave a really excellent foot massage. Everyone working there is very nice and it’s in a great location in downtown Santa Barbara, where you can go out and get a drink or dinner after.

Trina Schneider The meditative space is cool (bring a light sweater) the music therapy is ethereal. You can really taste the salt in the air - it takes a breath or two to get use to it. One of the best power naps I have had in years.

Stephanie Kay This is my new favorite spot. I came here about a week ago to get my eyebrows done. The lady was so nice and good that I decided to come back for my nails. I am very happy with the result. I had an idea of what I wanted and she was able to get it very close to what I had in mind. Overall great experience both times. I definitely recommend ❤️

CrossFitGirl This was the WORST pedicure experience I ever had. They don’t care what You (as the paying customer) want - they do what THEY want. I wanted a “mini” pedicure. Would have paid anything - it’s not about the money. It’s about what I want done to my feet. No dice. They insisted on doing everything & spoke in another language the entire time - to each other. SO uncomfortable - as Elaine (Seinfeld) said, you KNOW they are talking about you! To top it off, both manicurists were sick. They were wearing masks (barely), but were coughing & sneezing the entire time. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
