Genesis MZ I came there to get an updo for a wedding and I was part of the bridesmaids so we all had to get the same hairstyle but the hairstylist didn’t do my hair as it should’ve been like it’s seen in the picture. Instead I got this mountain size nest on top of my head. It was suppose to be a simple half up with a braid that’s suppose to be low with curls. But the curls didn’t last long at all like if they didn’t put enough hair spray and they made it too high which didn’t look at all right. But everyone else was more consistent but the hairstylist I had made mine poorly.

Marianne Keenan Jezmine washed, cut, and styled my hair and she did an excellent job. I get so many compliments for color and cut! Jezmine is a great listener and she gives you what you ask for, I cannot praise her enough.

Patricia LaCocque Not only is the price right, but Jenny really knows how to cut hair. She has an artistic flare and seems to intuitively cut my hair just right. I have short fine thin hair and she styles it well. Highly recommend her. I drive from Oakland to get a haircut.

Antonella Balarezo Jennys is not only SWEET, but amazing! Her job is just amazing, she does very neat cuts, she takes her time on details that you might need. My boyfriend and I, go there all the time. We just love her.

Emily Y. I love this location, Sana is the BEST! I have been going to her to thread my eyebrows since 2021. She always cleans up my eyebrows just the right amount and has never once left them thin. Ill never get my brows done by anyone else. You can do walk-ins but if you need to schedule an appointment shes great at communication, super friendly/kind, and she has a stamp card for her returning customers. I highly recommend this place

amber A They were quick but...too quick. Still left some hair from a waxing, that shouldnt have been left untouched. Price was alright but if I had a mirror before leaving the room, I wouldve noticed the hairs. They were nice but Im not sure if Ill go back for a waxing

My sister was referred here n when she told me she went n stripped color out her hair n re colored I was worried it would be damaged but it wasnt n turned out beautiful. When I went to my appt there the Owner greeted me n I had appt with Evelyn. Both ladies were very welcoming n shop was kept up clean n nice. The ambiance is what sold me. Mzima They fit me in the same day after another place canceled last min. Super responsive, friendly, and professional in our text communications. The owner squeezed me in and even though she worked fast, she did it with a laugh and smile and was super thorough. The space was clean and spacious. She used hard wax for everything including Brazilian and legs. I appreciate their attention to hygiene and safety. No double dipping the sticks and masks required. I cant think of anything more to ask for from a waxer. I felt welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. Super grateful to have found my new wax place!

Dominique Harte I had the pleasure of working with Camille and Jess on my wedding day. I have never had my makeup done professionally, so I was skeptical and nervous about the whole process, but I had no reason to be. She was very nice and completely professional from beginning to end. Pricing and expectations were clearly laid out in the contract and there were no surprises. Communication was easy and she was very accessible; I never had issues trying to contact her at any point. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly as outlined in the schedule I was provided. They were on-time, quick and skilled. Most importantly, they were very responsive to each persons makeup preferences/style and were willing to make changes if anyone felt uncomfortable. Each of my bridesmaids loved their looks and I felt beautiful for my big day! Belen Espinoza This place is amazing I come for a full Brazilian and Murray is the best. She is fast and makes it as painless as possible. She also has a big sister vibe which is super comforting. I am prone to ingrowns and her scrub that she makes in house has been the most helpful, it’s safe and natural overall it’s the perfect recipe.

Dana Elsasser I had an extremely memorable experience with this salon. I am visiting some friends this past week and I decided to get my hair done to start off my trip. I found this salon through TikTok and booked to have Knotless braids installed last weekend. Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience and left feeling like the price I paid didn’t match the quality of the work and that my time was not respected. I’m sure a lot of black women can relate when I say that it is so important for my hair to look nice as my hair is an extension of my identity. I am not gifted with the skill of maintaining my natural hair, so I keep it in protective styles. I used to relax my hair and have been growing out my relaxer slowly to now my hair is fully natural and it’s been a journey!! A love/hate relationship and I am really starting to take pride in my 4c hair. Way too often I’ve had the most horrific experiences when booking/getting it styled so I do take it personally when my expectations aren’t met with what is advertised and I have started to always expect the worst. In this situation - instead of leaving a bad review, I decided I wanted to speak with the owners, Keayoni and Aliya directly to let them know my experience as a first time client. I’m not typically a confrontational person and I was a very nervous but they were so kind, understanding and apologetic when I was sharing my experience. Not only did they offer support but also offered for me to come back today to give me new braids for free. Like what?!?’ Keayoni and Alaydriana both worked so quick and efficient together. I was in and out in 3.5 hours for small Knotless braids! I was extremely nervous to come back but they were so welcoming, we had GREAT conversation and I immediately felt at ease. I left with beautiful braids and feeling so confident. In this day of social media - It’s so easy to get wrapped up in having a bad experience and post bad reviews that end up spreading like wildfire. That was never my goal and I would never want to deter traffic from a black owned business. I hope this serves as a great reminder to clients and also small business owners that if you are respectful, kind, and patient - mistakes can be remedied. I’m a believer that if you are honest and give good energy into the people you meet - you will prosper and I hope this review influenced others to book here. You will without a doubt be taking care of! There are some really great women who work here and they are all passionate about making you feel important and beautiful. I’m so thankful to you, Keayoni and Alaydriana for the experience today and hopefully I can come back to visit so I can book with you again!

Da’Shanti I absolutely love this salon! I always leave feeling like a million bucks! The stylist are so versatile, and talented. I showed Keayoni a photo and she delivered exactly what I asked for. I’ve been getting my lashes done here for almost two years, they always come out beautifully. The owners are friendly and down to earth. I’ve sent many family members to receive services and they’ve also loved their experience. This is a one stop shop, esthetician services, massage, beauty services, products and hair.

Akeilah Ward I was recently looking for someone to do my braids when I came across a TikTok about Sass N Class Salon. Their work looked amazing, so I immediately booked an appointment. The website was easy to navigate, and I scheduled Fulani braids with Alaydrianna. I arrived a bit early, but as soon as I walked in, I was greeted, offered refreshments, and informed that my stylist would be with me shortly. Alaydrianna was punctual and got straight to work, which I really appreciated. She perfectly recreated the hairstyle I wanted. One of the most important factors for me is the time it takes, as past experiences have taken 8+ hours. Alaydrianna finished in just 6 hours, which was a huge plus. I highly recommend this salon—the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional!

Danni98 I love this place. Its very clean and the woman who braided my hair was so nice. My hair looks beautiful, and it feels like it will last for a while. I showed the beautician the style I wanted, and it looks even better than the picture! A lot of places would have your head hurting after getting tight braids, but the braids here dont hurt at all! I highly recommend this place.

S. Kamment The owner, Liz, listened closely when I explained what I wanted for my haircut, and she got it. In the past, I would have to wash and restyle my hair when I got home from other salons, because stylists would style my long hair they way they wanted it, not the way I wanted it. This was the first time in a very long time that I didnt feel the need to wash and restyle my hair after a salon visit. Im also very pleased with the layered cut. As an added bonus, Liz is very pleasant and runs a clean and attractive salon in a quaint and lovely neighborhood. I look forward to having Liz as my regular stylist as long as Im living here.

Silvia Sharpe Im very particular about who works on my hair because I need someone that can work with different textures (I have 2 different textures) and on top of that, my hair is thick and wavy. Kyani delivers a good cut and has gentle hands. She also offers a ton of different services that she does with expertise. Today she cut my hair and blow dried it.

Dawn Moore Owner is very pleasant as well as knowledgeable. Takes pictures of your hair to aid in the explaining whats needed to complete the job. Shop has ample room, scheduling is on target, dont have to wait extensively between appointments. Prices are very reasonable.

Sindy M. I came here after some disappointing hair styling and hair coloring at a different high end salon and was absolutely stunned by Geraldine’s work on my curly hair. For someone with curly hair it’s hard to find places that can work with it but Geraldine did such an amazing job without me having to tell her, she knew what to do with it so that it framed my face well and so that no one place was bulky and heavy. Will definitely be coming back ! Prices are great too !
