Vanessa Barriga I’ve been coming here for several years now for an eyebrow clean up and upper lip. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had I’m not sure if this girl was put to train but it was not okay I got done w my eyebrows n noticed one was thicker then the other I told her about it n she told me she could fix it, she hands me the mirror to see this. I’ve never left this place w cuts on my eyebrows or uneven eyebrows and today I did. If you chose to come to this place, come Tuesday-Saturday when there’s people knowing what there doing otherwise I wouldn’t suggest. I paid $25 for this to come home n have to fix my own brows.

Gladys Diaz So so disappointed went to get my eyebrows done Here this Evening 8-4-24. Ive been here before, had no problems. The young lady that did my eyebrows Was doing it very slow It was very painful, I told her to stop doing my eyebrows now my eyebrows are messed up Never again

Connie Dimas New in town, its not easy to find the right hair stylist suddenly. Surprisingly, I was able to find Beatris. She did an amazing job on fixing up my hair. I will definitely come back, she is a keeper forever. I highly recommend her!

Desyre Schaefer Tried to color my hair at home and it turned into a fiasco. Went way too dark then did a bleach kit and tried to tone it after. Ended up with brassy yellow-orange hair. I walked in and Elva greeted me and worked me into her schedule. She did a color deposit with the lowest developer possible to avoid further hair damage and also did a hair mask to help restore & hydrate. I came out a nice medium strawberry blonde which is what I was aiming for in the first place. The atmosphere in there is also very nice and professional. Highly recommend!

Suzanne Snyder Terrible place. I went to get my hair split bleached and dyed a purple red color my hair isnt virgin and i have home dyed it for years and never had an issue with lifting when i bleach my hair or color not sticking and my hair has never once turned green or bled after rinsing the color out. I ended up spending $400 on ugly green hair. The older lady doesnt know what shes doing she didnt rinse out all the color from my hair and when i called a few months to see what we can do to fix the issue she said she could charge me $200 to re bleach to fix it. When i asked if she could discount it some becuase of her mistake she said no becuase shes not obligated to fix any issues after a customer leaves the store.

Wendy DM Dana at Satori has cut & colored my curly hair for over 10 years. She knows how to shape considering hair type and facial features. She is known for her skill in coloring and highlights. Her salon has always been a happy place with satisfied customers and collegial stylists. Shes one of the best in town!

Ingrid Miller Parking can sometimes be difficult to find and may need to park on the busy street. The service was great. I was immediately greeted and shortly after Brianne my stylist came out. I was very happy with my balayage hair! Would totally recommend to anyone.

Autumn Hernandez Grace at Glow’s is absolutely amazing! I’ve had my eyebrows threaded by so many different people, but I’ve finally found the one! Grace takes time to ask questions instead of rushing through. She genuinely cares about what you like and don’t like about your brows, and she explains how certain changes would affect their shape before making any moves. It’s clear that she truly listens and ensures you’re happy before you leave. If you need your eyebrows threaded, don’t walk- Run to Grace at Glow’s! You won’t regret it. She’s simply the best!

D M If anyone is wondering where to get their eyebrows done, then this is the place to be. Kammi knows exactly what shes doing and better yet its so affordable way more affordable than the places at Downtown Chico. Took less than 10 min with her. Dont hesitate coming here as shes really well experienced. Will definitely come here from now on.

Tiffany Williams I just moved to the area and it has been a little bit of a challenge finding anyone with availability. Booking the appointment was a breeze. Sarahbeth was very communicative. We had to move my appointment a couple times due to reasons out of her control, which I appreciate her doing her best to keep my appointment the original date instead of canceling. She has a very sweet personality. She listened to me about what I wanted. I came in to have all my dyed hair cut and leave just my natural color. She did exactly that. She’s very attentive to detail and is very thorough. Not everyone can do pixies and she definitely has the skills. I will definitely go back again!

monique myers She is wonderful! She’s kind, understanding and so talented! I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair again! My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined! I highly recommend going to her for all your hair needs!

Rhiana Crockett I love going to see Sarahbeth! She is so kind and extremely talented. Every time I go see her, my hair and eyebrow come out fantastic; I swear she can color match better than anyone else Ive ever gone to. She has an amazing personality and I love talking to her, even though Im a huge introvert. In the past, Ive had anxiety going to get my hair done with others, but I just feel so comfortable with Sarahbeth that I truly look forward to seeing her! Highly Recommended!!

Lana Padgett Brenda is a great colorist and stylist. The salon is always clean and has a great vibe. Its always my fav time of month going to get "made over" by Brenda. I would recommend both Brenda or Abby. The salon was just recently remodeled and looks great. They now sell Kevin Murphy products, have fancy new dryers and quite a few chairs.

Marly May Not friendly about taking in new clients. You need a referral in order to get your haircut done in this studio even if you set up an open appointment on varago. Not worth the hassle, go to another studio.

Fatima Berrum I love Jen! I went to a different lash tech and wanted to try a new one, once I found Jen I continued to come. Shes super friendly and so easy to talk too. Her office is so cute and I look forward to all my appointments. Shes amazing and really cares about her work. Always makes sure your lashes look as perfect as possible!

Katie Cook I have gone to Jen for many years! Always very professional and very honest! She always gave me the lashes that I wanted and made me feel so beautiful! She is truly amazing at doing lashes! I also have seen her facial and it was the most relaxing facial I have ever had! Kept it very calm and soothing! She is great’

Kimberly Nedelkow Jen is fantastic! Not only does she do fabulous lashes, at a really affordable price, she works evenings and weekends. Jen has gone out of her way to accommodate my schedule or fitting me in for touch ups. In addition she is very sweet and easy to talk to with a cozy space! I highly recommend!

Sherree Milnes I absolutely LOVE Sookies hair salon! Sookie is an amazing and brilliant hair stylist that will provide you with superior style and leave you looking radiant. This salon is the best in Chico and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone and everyone. I came to Sookie about 8 months ago in May of 2019 wanting hair exstentions. I had shopped around to other salons and was looking at an average cost of around $1000 for temporary exstentions that would last me 6-8 weeks tops. Sookie not only educated me in the different type of hair exstention but also gave me the pros and cons of each type. After careful consideration I choose to go with Sookies recommendations and get real human hair I-Tip exstentions. They were delivered over night and put in the next day. It has been 8 months and I still have them in and they look just a lishish as they did the day she put them in. I give Sookies hair salon my highest recommendations!!

Heather Took my mom to Maria. Couldnt be more pleased. Maria was super accommodating and patient. When it came time to help mom transfer back into her wheelchair from the shampoo chair Maria did not hesitate to help me with her. She then trimmed and styled moms hair exactly the way she wanted it. Mom was happy and so was I. So thankful to have been referred to Maria Lewis at Mateo & Co.

krista hill Donated to the Chico Cat Coalition and got a free haircut basically. Kinda of pricey place for me but nice staff and not a bad location. She did a nice job on my hair but you could hardly tell I had a haircut.

Ben Simas I received a facial from Erika Martinez. It was the most relaxing facial ever. I had already booked another by the time I left. I recommend you give her a try she offers MANY services for reasonable prices.

Coco Briggs I’ve been going to Culture for almost a year now. Hailey, the owner is my stylist. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful! She’s also a great listener and honest when it comes to what the process of whatever service you’re asking for can/will do to your hair. She’s a professional in her field and as a small business owner myself, I’m very appreciative of it! The new location fits them so well and is a very comfortable environment. I am happy to have found someone that is genuine and passionate about what they do, but also takes care of the ladies that are part of Culture.

Meghan Mendes Not only is Hailey one of the sweetest and most hardworking person I have met, but the second you walk into her salon she makes you feel welcome! She talks you through your inspiration and wants and always recaps the plan to confirm you both are on the same page. She offers snacks, drinks, and amazing conversations the whole appointment.I have had a few different services from Hailey but my most recent was chopping my hair off into a cute bob. Post partum can be hard and I wasn’t feeling my best so I booked a haircut! Julia pampered me with an amazing hair wash and condition! Hailey gave me a gorgeous cut that brought joy to me and made me feel… dare i say…. sexy!!! All the girls in the salon PUMPED ME UP. I left that day feeling like a new woman!!! Sarah listened to what my goals were and delivered a finished product that would work for me and my lifestyle without damaging my hair. The salon itself, its owner, Hailey, and all the stylists that I’ve encountered there are also lovely. Both Sarah and Hailey are extremely knowledgeable and willing to give advice and make your hair dreams come true! I can’t wait to go see Sarah again for a refresh!

Megan Brock Courtney did an amazing color correction. I was expecting to go back multiple times to reach the color that I had in mind, but she was able to give me the results during my first visit to the salon, in such an impressive amount of time. It was a comfortable and relaxing environment with great conversation and everything is very clean and sanitary. Really cute decor and merchandise as well. Would highly recommend.

william baker My niece got her hair colored here. They did an awesome job. They were very helpful and the salon is a great spot to wait for someone to get their hair done. They also gave her tips to keep her hair maintained well.

Benjamin Murray Chris Gomez is the only barber I go too. He hands down gives me the best haircuts of my life. I get compliments all the time after I see him. A true master of his craft.

Jennifer Hoglund Update: 5 months after I started seeing Cori she canceled my appointment due to illness. Totally understandable. She said shed call to reschedule. Cool. Two weeks later and nothing. No response to messages from my friend who is also a client. Three weeks later and I get an appointment reminder for the next day. I message asking if it was a mistake because we hadnt made an appointment. She said no, she was trying to get me in as soon as possible. I said the my work/life schedule needs more than 24 hours notice. And she never responded to me again. *** Saw Cori for my reblonding. She did great with the directions I provided from my past stylist. Lightened my hair a bit more than normal. The husband loves it.

Kim Noreen Anderson Had an amazing experience with Amanda and can highly recommend her. Everything about this salon is 5 star - from the text message the day before reminding you of your appointment to the receptionist that greets you when you arrive. It is clear that everybody that works here is happy ~ and everybody that leaves is too. Learned about this salon from my friend that has been going to Tanya ~ who is also excellent.

Bonnie Conrad Went here for the first time this week. Loved it! Cori trimmed and thinned my thick wavy hair. She did an amazing job. Happy to find a good hairdresser in Chico.
